Well it’s finally holiday time! I C Nothing is hitting the road for some R&R grabbing a few finds on our travels. Looking forward to seeing some sunshine and having quality beach time. Glad to see a few caches as we tour around exploring. Today we found your cache safe and in good condition. Thanks for placing for our enjoyment.
5.30pm
Visiting Perth from Brisbane to catch up with hubby who is working over here. Today I drove to Geraldton after dropping hubby off at the worksite in Dongara.
Now we are finding a few caches I missed on the way. Interesting bend in the road probably because of land boundaries. Made a quick find, SL then returned as found.
Found on 1 July 2022. TFTC, Squash2.

Up at the Farm for Xmas - its been a scorcher! Today its only 35 so Im happy to get out and grab some smilies while Im up. Still sporting a broken arm but cast is off which gives me a bit more movement solo caching. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining these caches.
I got lucky with this - driving up to GZ I thought uhhohh this is gonna take a while - was in the first place I looked *wheww! Thanks Squash2

Shouldn't have taken us as long as it should to find this one.. nice spot thanks for the cache : )
She bent them and made a quick find... Way too many rusty things to look at today if you ask me.
A wonderful start to the day, out at Grenough, exploring the Historical Settlement from the Early Settlers.
Thanks for sharing this interesting historical location.
We found this nice and easily.

A nice quick find on our way back to Dongara. These machines have definitely seen better days tftc
Heading up to Gero for the annual IGD event with AlliedOz & SVKR_WA on a day trip, lots of banter and shenanigans in amongst the 900 odd k's traveled for the day.
SVKR was the one to spot this once at GZ after adhering to the hint.
Squash2 I found your cache at 9:55am, this was the 6th of 34 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 5565. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Love an old tractor. Walk up and I found this one in the first place I looked.
Well today is International Geocaching Day for 2019 and Granett, AlliedOz and I hatch a somewhat crazy plan to head to Geraldton for a day trip to attend the event there.
We left a wet and cold Perth at 5 and headed north, stopping for a couple of caches along the way and a bit of maintenance that was needed.
It was a long but fun road trip - lots of banter, great company and it was great to catch up with a pile of people at the event in Greenough.
Squash2 SVKR_WA is happy to have found your cache S Bend today at 09:55:48 17 Aug 2019. This brings my find count to 3644
Squash2 - Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment. We love travelling the state and visiting some places that we would only visit due to this game.

Found it. TFTC Squash2. Not sure if I can get it going. We might be scratching for parts. I think it was the Fordson that had reputation of having a good box and I notice the shift leaver seems to be working fine. Thanks for bringing me here.
Hi there Squash2.
We found your cache **"S Bend"** at 1:04:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 22620).
We are staying in Geraldton for a few days catching up with friends. When we had a free moment we started our caching run by nominating a cache some distance from our camp site and then took a route that was sometimes determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our interesting trek around the local area
We ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route. (11 finds today & 4 DNF's). Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic travels around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Just ticking off a couple of caches at the S Bend on my drive back to Perth. Only come from Cape Burnley so not really long enough for a break, but next planned stop is near Cervantes. Pulled up next to GZ and thought oh no, this is going to take forever, I was expecting a cache & dash. Well remarkably it was in the very first place I looked. Why can’t that happen every time!? Haha. Super relieved and could barely believe my luck. Needless to say, no problems here - TFTC
Well that took a little longer than I thought but got there in the end! Lovely little spot! TFTC
A bit of a search as GPS not behaving today but then aha and the cache was in hand! TFTC
We went straight ahead instead of taking the bend and logged this find. Thanks Squash2.
This was tricky I looked and looked then just happened to squat in the right position tftc
On our way up to the Murchison for Easter we decided to continue our cache hunt north of Jurien, happy to say we walked away with a smiley today, both on our faces and our profile TFTC
Headed up to Geraldton for the IGD event for 2017 with Barnzy12. Like usual work got in the way of the start of the journey delaying us by an hour and a half and we managed to leave Perth by 6.30pm.
We made 3 small stops on the way one for steve to by dinner and 2 others for some quick P+G style caches.
Not much could be seen at night apart from the eyes of animals sitting/standing on the side of the road. A little unsettling when the rain was coming down however we made it to Geraldton in high spirits even at midnight.
Thanks for placing this cache it helped to break up the journey a little.

Day 46 on my trip from Perth to the Red Centre Experience in Alice Springs with m4yb and Max the GeoUte pulling Jonathan Swift the Jayco camper trailer.
What an adventure it has been and great to get some caches along the route.
Now on our homeward journey via some great caches. Leaving the free camp at the bridge and heading for Cliff Head or somewhere thereabouts.
Nice quick find while I was turning around

On the way home after our 1/2 lap which took in the Great Central Road, the Red Centre Experience Event at Alice Springs, then North to Katherine and home via Broome, Exmouth, Carnarvon and Shark Bay.
Another find on the way home! TFTC!

Stopped at this cache whilst on a roadtrip with Eliktrisiti. We didn't find as many caches in the Geraldton area as we had hoped for, and after being home for a week or so, I have decided that the motto I would adopt for these logs would be this: It isn't the destination that is important, it is the journey!
In a nutshell, we had fun and that is what it is all about. Great company, lots of interesting locations, good variety of caches, even got to meet one of the local geocachers while out and about, and of course, we came home with a whole swag of smileys.
This cache was found early on the second day. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for this NOLMA, so didn't give it more than a cursory glance on the way past. Maybe another time though. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Squash2

Out with family and friends for a fun day of caching. Nice quick park and grab. TFTC
Den Ort besucht und den Cache schnell gefunden. Besten Dank fürs Verstecken und greetings from Switzerland.
Out and about exploring south of Geraldton with CAD on a lovely sunny morning...A quick find here Thanks 4TC:)
Enjoying the journey with iluvtrekking as we head towards Geraldton. So many great spots to check out along the way. Thanks Squash2
Originally logged under clan-wallace. Geohubby wants his own caching name so guess who is relogging the lot for him?
Sticking to my rule of only finding caches on the left hand side of busy roads so as not to annoy geohubby too much. NEF. TFTC
tftc sqaush2 another quick find on the way to Geraldton. Great entrance to the farm.
A methodical approach was needed here. TFTC Squash2 this is find number 1196 for us.

The weather was very nice today and wander the country. Enjoyed myself for the day.

Day 3 of a road trip to Geraldton along the Indian Ocean Drive, which wasn't here when we last tripped up this way. Today took 6 hours to get to Geraldton from Dongara visiting all those places you usually drive by on a "normal" trip and exploring the many small towns along the way. The added bonus is the number of caches along the way which accounts for some of the extra time that it took.
A quick find, sign & replace.
Thanks for the cache Squash2 [^] - we made the find and the cache was in good order and the log dry .
This was find # 8 of 16 and 1 today giving us a total cache count of 3171.

Took us waay longer than it should have - didn't help we are battling the rain! Tftc SL
Took a bit longer than it should have-out in the rain though and looking in all the wrong places
Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about with some of those friends and we targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!
Thanks Squash2 (F=487 H=46) for placing this cache.

Found along with Maccamob and Micaparamedic on the way north today. Everything around here was so green today.
Found by Mary & David, in convoy with Alansee and micaparamedic (logged as ACMPMM), at 1410. Didn't take long. If only that rust could talk! Our thanks to Squash2.
I know caching will send me round the bend eventually
Here it almost happened.
But didn't !!
I was about to go round the bend,
but where GZ was showing up,
made me go straight ahead
So I didn't go around the bend at all
Nice try !!
And at GZ,
the cache was soon flushed out
No plumbing the depths of the scenery needed !!
There were no unpleasant blockages in me way [^]
No getting bogged down searching prickly scrub
I plunged me paw into GZ, and out came a cache
TFTC and a chance to throw in a bit of toilet humour [^]

Left at 3.30am from Perth to go to Geraldton for a few days, and stopped along the way to pick up some caches. Most caches were found quite quickly with a few tricky ones that took a bit of searching. Managed to find 45 on the way with only 1 DNF which I think might be missing .Looking forward to finding more tomorrow TFTC
The big move from Townsville to Mandurah, finally after 8000km we are on the last stretch.

Out and about with pprass and &0thers on our travels now camping in Geraldton. Nice easy parking and then for the search. I do hate machinery. We all went for it with no joy. Mr mr &. Used a little thought (with age comes wisdom) and really got down to it. Bingo. Thanks for the cache
Found at 2:09 PM GAFF5 in the company of xambo4u and &others.
Wonder why this "S" bend is here? Why not just make it a huge sweep. On our way back to camp later on, I tried to go through the "S" bend on cruise control doing about 105 kph - got a bit scary
This took ages to find and once again it was in the very first spot that I checked, but didn't find it until Robert literally crawled under to search.
Thanks Squash2.
