Looks like it has been destroyed again must be time for someone else to put in a new cache

There has been a good deal of grounds maintenance here (all along the walls and in the galvanized fence recesses) and I would suggest this has accounted for this wee silver tin...
Of course we could be wrong

A nice quick find thanks.

Another long weekend, another wee road trip, this time up to Golden Bay area, with Ms_KR. The daylight hours are are certainly getting shorter, but luckily the weather is mostly dry and warm. Today we cruised home from Nelson.

Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Nice easy find, but a eclipse container is a terrible container when exposed to the weather. This cache needs replacing (but not quite so really bad that it needs a needs maintenance log). We did replace the log inside though. The old one was unusable.

At last my railway series is finished! Yay! So I am back in Nelson for the third weekend in a row to actually place the final Nelson rail cache, completing the story of the line. As (nearly) always, I have Taybeedragon in tow. Now that the Nelson railway cache is in place we are just randomly driving around mopping up stray caches.

18-Jul-20
.Log very damp here so replaced with a temp RITR log to keep this one rolling along. Cheers

Its a flying visit to Nelson today instead of flying out to USA. So another early start picking up The Seagnoid at 6am and heading over the hill to amble about Nelson on a fine cool day. Another great caching day and exploration over the hill.

Found easily but not sure it was meant to be like this. Under a rock between some wood, next to the fence.
Cache good and dry and happy me for another smile in the evening, not too many people around at 7pm, I guess it can be busy at other times.

Berrydehamster and me are travelling in New Zealand for three weeks. We cross the country from north to south and back again by campervan, see a lot, do a lot, visit lots of places and meet a lot of people. It’s nice to be here and we have a great time.

As both of us are geocachers, we find a lot of caches on our travels. This is one of the caches we found. Thanks for your cache, kiwi-nomad, that helped give us a wonderful time here.

NBokkie and I are going on holiday to New Zealand for 3 weeks. In Auckland we rent a camper. We start on the North island and driving to the south to make the crossing to the South island. Here we make a round and then take the boat back to the North Island. A long trip, but a very beautiful one! We do and see a lot on our way............
In addition to being a tourist, we are also going to cache along the way. The virtuals and earth caches are often on tourism places. If we have a long day of traveling, we stop for some caches.
It were great weeks!

A quick find Big Grin

Husband is doing motox at 88 valley so coolball and I headed off for some caching. We saw a sign that said peanut world, and we took a wrong turn, but hey, it brought us here. A beautiful day! Log is full of water. Sorry I am not prepared enough to have brought more paper, but it could be ritr paper as it still signed ok. TFTC.

A quick find here of what is quite a un-KN type of hide. No probs, I found a couple of good ones a short time later. TFTC KN, one for the numbers.

Today I decided to head over to Nelson for the second Saturday in a row, just because I quite enjoyed the last one. Besides, Marlborough was scheduled to have much the worse of the weather for Saturday, something borne out when I was greeted at Hira with the sun for the first time of the day. In the end it was a really pleasant day.
No real goals today, just continuing the sweep through urban Nelson of PnGs and solved puzzles. A little difficulty with a couple, so enlisted the help of gkmlb as a PAF. They were also kind enough to meet up later in the day for some more hands-on help, much appreciated. Where micros were found they were signed ‘RP’, I added RITR paper to those with crumbly or soaked logs.
Thanks to all COs, found some interesting caches today.

We were heading out for a day at Abel Tasman National Park and pulled over briefly to get something out of the boot. We found that we had picked the perfect spot to stop as a quick check before we headed off again showed this cache was just a few metres away.
Thanks for a great start to our day.

Had the opportunity for a visit to Nelson for 2 days with Mrs Yeetrees as she was going to attend a embroidery workshop for 2 days, we decided that we would fly in late Friday night and stay the full weekend. Having booked this trip back in February we werent sure what the weather was going to be like but we decided that we would chance it. Managed to find accommodation at the Monaco Hotel & Resort as it was very central to where we wanted to be. Mrs Yeetrees decided that she would like to come caching in the end with me instead of attending the workshops as there wasnt anything to her liking.

After finding GC3KNHE - Nayland Kunzea ericoides (Stoke@Nelson/Marlborough), this was the next cache that we had on our list to find today, as we neared GZ, we noticed that there was a local muggle on his trusty ride on mower going around in circles, but we knew that he was going to be finished very shortly as we watched him go round and round in every decreasing circles. Final he disappear from where he came from and we were able to get a bit closer to GZ.

As we found a park near GZ, I thought that this was a bit of deja vu, asked Mrs Yeetrees and she confirmed that I was correct. Yes we had found another cache that was previously here before and it was a cache that we really loved finding, was quite surprise that it was now replaced with a newer cache, but that is evolutionSurprisedWink.

Managed to get a parking in front of GZ so that we were able to block the view of the muggles across the road from GZ and then it was a quick and easy walk to GZ, spotted the cache very quickly, retrieved signed and replaced the cache back as found. Thanks for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot to reminisced on times gone by, TFTC TNLNSL (12547)

Last of the day at the end of a walk in the Matai Valley and then a bike ride along the Coastal Highway. An instant find, and although the grass seems to have grown nicely now, the ground was soft with all the recent rain. A clear way in though that limits any damage. All in good order, thanks for the cache.

We wanted to find at least one cache today, and as Mr Quiltinannie needed to go to Bunnings today to get some lumber to complete a shed he is building for our son; I thought I might just accompany him and get a geocache somewhere near! And as we were driving by here, we thought we would look for this one! Found it quite quickly! Thanks for placing one here!

Some days you just need a park and grab. Today was one of those days. After doing my handyman jobs around the house then taking a swim at nayland pool, a quick stop and sign and off again. Now back to work. Thanks for the cache.

Found! 07Jan17 @ 2.00pm; Find #136

I found this one when I realised that five days had passed since I had found a cache. So much for that new years resolution, hey? Smile

I had arrived in the South Island on the 6th, but today I was headed north to Farewell Spit. On the way I pulled over to check my GPSr (as it had been too long since my last find) and discovered that this hide was less than 200 metres away from where I was parked. I love how that happens sometimes!

So I parked the car, got out and began my search. It was very quiet, as it was a Saturday, but I would imagine that the area would be bustling during the week. Regardless, it was perhaps the quickest find I've ever made. I think I might just be getting the hang of this game Very Happy

Log dutifully signed and cache returned as found (less several cobwebs that had built up since the last find). Onto Farewell Spit!

I found this one while I was out geocaching with my family after some grocery shopping in stoke. The play center nearby is really busy so there may of been a few muggles staring at this strange hobby of mine! the cache was easily found by myself. clever hide. find #154

Down here in Nelson with Rebel98, rustynz and supernanny for a long 3 day weekend. Our first official cache here in Nelson and my very first in the South Island! Whoo hoo! We jumped out of the car with great excitement and looking forward to a long day of caching. I think I found this one, and we signed ourselves in individually rather than as a team.
