Checked on this the other day. Pretty sure this one has gone. Time for this one to go as GZ has changed a lot.
After successfully finding 214 other caches in the three geoart series today, headed off to look for this one which we had also solved before heading south.
Looks like there has been some substantial works at GZ with at least one big tree cut down, so not sure if this has affected the hide. We did look carefully all around GZ anyway, but without any luck. Nice sculpture nearby though.

We had solved this one knowing we'd be going past here. We didn't find the cache but the tree at gz had been chopped down. I don't know if this comprises the cache. Thanks for the puzzle anyway.
Collecting local puzzles with jard1037, missed the first time around then jard found the well hidden cache. Nice sculpture nearby.
Was down here this morning with urbangypsynz collecting the Kiwi Art series and detoured round here to grab this one too. Nice artwork and a clever hide. TFTC
How disappointing, after a quick calculation for the coordinates I was hoping for a quick find. I followed the hint and looked all around the area including trying to move a very heavy piece of concrete to no avail. I walked right around GZ looking high and low but sadly struggled to find the cache. This cache is either very well hidden or my geo eyes are faulty.
Enjoyed this puzzle and the GZ. Interesting structure and great fortress in the school playground. Had a look for cache and thought oh no it's gone But a closer look and I had it in hand with a few slaters as well. Cache all good.TFTPC
Enjoyed sorting the numbers and soon had the co ords required ...Arrived at GZ and soon had the log signed ..nice structure and it is still standing tftc HKCB
This was one of the first mystery caches I unjumbled but never quite got to the final. Today I navigated out this way. Cool tornado and even cooler construction on the other side. Disturbed slaters and ants galore but cache itself all clean and dry. Thanks for the mystery cache HKCB
Out and about today trying to get a few caches as a last attempt for some planetary pursuit points. Almost done for the day but decided to tick off a mystery that was in my solved list while I was out. Cant really remember solving it but i think it was a quick solve. Came out to get this one and smiled when I saw the awesome structure. Quick find thanks to the hint. Not too much traffic at the moment and nice and sunny and warm for almost 6pm! Thanks for the puzzle and the cache
After finishing up work early this morning I decided to take a drive into the Waikato. My main aim was to find solved puzzle caches that have been sitting in my notebook for far too long. This was one of them. I solved this one many moons ago now; I think it ended up being a pretty quick solve. Anyway, heading back towards Auckland I made sure to detour and collect the last target puzzle cache of the day, this one. As I pulled up to GZ I knew I was in the right spot. Found the final in the very first spot I checked. GZ is home to ant colony presently. Cheers for the puzzle cache placement!
This has been on my solved list forever and a day but I was never nearby. Change of plan today gave me the opportunity. Followed the GPS through the country roads until - what a cool sculpture! Then the penny dropped. TFTC
Was out here picking up my son's friends, I knew there was one out here, hadn't realised it was a puzzle, thank goodness it was one I could solve quickly, fairly easy find, not covered in stones or ants anymore, but is well hidden, tftc.
This the kind of puzzle cache I like (that is... one I can actually do!!). Cache was quickly found at GZ but literally crawling with ants. High-tailed it back to the car without touching the cache. Gave myself a "man-up"pep talk (I didn't drive all this way not to log etc) and went back for a second try. On second look I noticed it wasn't just ants but a lot of white larvae all over the cache as well. Seems this cache is now GZ for an ants nest. I high-tailed it a second time without signing the log. TFTC (but not the ants)!!
One of those ones where I saw what too do the first time I looked at it. Just wished that happed every time. Found the cache it self after a brief search. Cool bit of art work. TFTC
Not too much trouble solving this one but took a couple of minutes to find. Had a farmer from next door stop to check if I was okay; not too sure if he knows about the cache. I read the last log from the CO and then dug a little deeper and came up with the cache; was still quite covered. TFTC.
Checked on this one today as it had a DNF recently. Yes there had been some work done near GZ, but the cache is still there, it was just buried by 100mm of stones. Uncovered it a wee bit so finders don't have as much to dig.
Solved this one some time ago and only now getting around to making a find. But no find to be made. Had a good look for some time. There has been some earthwork around GZ. Will put on watch.
Thanks HKCB

I am so proud of myself for solving this with no help from anyone else! Yes, finally a puzzle I can understand! normally I get really frustrated and give up.
Had been out to matamata for the day, and decided that I would come home via matamata so I could also pick up this cache.
Nice an quiet here at GZ on a Saturday. So, onwards and upwards now

This is a much more difficult puzzle for the color blind! I had to recruit my muggle wife to help with the solve.
It was quite busy down the road from GZ due to school almost letting out. After taking a quick picture of the tornado, my battery died in my smartphone. I've been in quite a few tornadoes in the Midwest of the US, so this one didn't scare me (besides, it wasn't real). TFTC.

Have had this on our solved lost for far too long. After some random bush whacking adventures further away, decided to pick this up on the way home. A nice quick find here. Cache all in good order. SL. TFTP & TFTC!
A fun wee puzzle that I'd solved months ago but didn't get around to finding until today. A quick find in the dark, with not a soul about. Thanks for setting up the puzzle and cache.
had a go at solving but didnt get far, came back to it with another idea and this time it worked, that was a while ago, so today its another puzzle and dot day done, the nearby art even looks like something i could do, tftc
Found with Philip.Perry and Tnxpro today on a mission to collect the nearby kiwiart series and NZ icon series. We noticed a puzzle on the map we hadn't found had a look soon had the answer to the puzzle then to GZ to find the cache took a us a while in the dark to come up with the find but please to say I found it.

Found this with Davidsonclan and Philip.Perry while we were in the area picking up the Kiwi Icon and Kiwi Art puzzle series caches and any others in the vicinity. Part of a haul of about 150 caches in the same day.
This was solved by part of the Davidsonclan while we were in the area, so it was a quick detour to pick this one up. TFTC

This was a neat little spot and a well earned break from the 127 puzzles we'd set about finding today. The puzzle was a little trickier then I first thought but we had a Davidson with us who knew what to do. The hint was good and we were soon back on the road. Cheers HKCB
Solved by Bloos Boy, love the nearby wire display that matches the cache theme.
I've got a bit of free time at the moment and I'm enjoying solving some puzzles. I couldn't work out why there were so many red crosses on this one. I thought it was a simple logical solve. Won't be down for ages to turn the question mark into a smile. Thanks for the puzzle
#200. Just a pen, paper, and an original Navman. Solved this clever puzzle a couple of weeks ago when on a GC puzzle blitz. Very warm still Saturday found us out this way so thought would locate a couple. All good. Tftc.
On our way home from a pre Christmas family dinner in Cambridge finding a few caches on our return. I'd solved this one ages ago and the final was only a small detour, so we headed over to GZ. Parked up, spent awhile looking in the wrong place as my GPS had me on the other side of the road. Found a softball in the bushes here though so all was not wasted. Worked out roughly where i needed to be going by the hint and previous logs. A few minutes later and the cache was in hand. TFTPC!
I was heading out from town to find some of the Kiwi Art Project caches and this one popped up on the GPS. Hey, I think that I might have solved this one too I had, so called by for the park and grab.
Interesting piece of artwork.

No problem with the solve, a well done puzzle even the kids can sort.
Another dot day down, and another smiley for the map, woop woop!

Between CITO events we managed to slip away and find this one. Enjoyable puzzle and no trouble with the find TFTC.
Don't you just hate it when the wind does that to your numbers. Sorted them out and called in at GZ this afternoon for a quick find. Nice looking countryside out this way. Thanks.
Solved at home, searched today almost gave up but one last searched revealed different hiding spot.

A twister of a puzzle and happy to get a quick green tick. In the area today so stopped in for the smiley. TFTPC
Had this one solved for a while so nice to be able to come and collect. Quite like the nearby art work. TFTC
A quick side trip from collecting the caches from the Kiwi Art Project with KiwifruitsNZ and alpenmilch80 to chase this troublesome tornado... Thanks for the puzzle
A day out with alpenmilch80 and Vamber completing the Kiwi Art Project.
Solved this puzzle a while ago and decided to collect as part of our day out.
A great day, a great trail and good delegation of tasks!

Staying at Huntley together with KiwifruitsNZ & Vamber to get some geocaching done over the next days. Quick side trip to collect the Tornado from the Kiwi Art Trail run. TFTC
Spent the day in north Hamilton, at our youngest's sports tournament; only a minor detour on the way home to grab this (altho had to promise I wouldn't keep detouring towards our remaining kiwi art trail caches!) & was a nice easy find with the hint. Cache all good, thanks for a lovely puzzle & happy anniversary too, TFTC
2.35pm - No rainbows or tornado's today. easily solved with a quick find. SLTFTC
In Hamilton today for the hot air balloons, unfortunately it was too windy for the mass ascension so we did some caching instead. Our main aim for the day was to find several puzzles we'd solved over the last few months, this one back in November.
A quick find by Mrs nzkites while Mr had a snooze in the car after our early start this am. No-one around but afterwards the snooze was disturbed by lots of school children across the road! We liked the 'sculpture'. Thanks for the puzzle & cache.

I knew I was going to be in this general area for the Kiwi Art Trail so I solved the puzzle a few days ago - must admit a couple of the numbers took a bit of trial and error. No problems spotting the art work or the hide. TFTC, Biggles.
Out on a cache drive... great day for it.
Spotted the tornado monument so knew we were in the right place. Our gps had ground zone in the middle of the road, so the cache was in 'that' direction... Searched and circled like an impending storm, but nothing surfaced. Finally found the cache where we first looked. Enjoyed this puzzle. TFTP and TFTC.

138 With the remnants of cyclone June buffeting the area I felt it was a sign to find this cache.
Stopped today and realised I didn't have the hint... Oops! I ended up solving the puzzle the hard way, but it worked out anyway. Made the find and a muggle came around the corner. You saw nothing!
Nice find great Art Work did this one with mum we have not been down that road before thanks
Somewhere over the rainbow,
Way up high,
There's a cache that I heard of
maybe it'll even be dry.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Smilies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
You can turn them true.
Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the caches are far
Behind me.
Where co-ord melt like a lemon drop
Away before the batteries stop
That's where you'll find me.
Somewhere over the rainbow
Puzzles are solved
Smilie faces we like to show.
Why then, are puzzles involved?
If happy little caches hide
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?
Thanks for the fun!

Solved this one a long time ago and finally got out to get it. a fun puzzle and nice easy hide. TFTC. Dropped 2 TB
Have never noticed this sculpture before. Very cool!
Managed to solve the puzzle on the day of publication but was working on the pesky caching calendar so "banked" a few caches that I could find on the right days and weren't too far away. Now that challenge has been completed it is time to find the remaining local caches.
Many thanks

#6499. Probably a muggly spot at certain times. Tracked down the cache without too much trouble. TFTC.
Cool sculpture and nice puzzle. There were several interested 4 legged bystanders as we signed the logbook. TFTC.
Passed here after having logged all caches in the Kiwi Art series. Saw the tornado first and then logged the cache together with Geparderna. Thanks for puzzle and cache an greetings from Sweden.
We managed to solve this puzzle cache at home in Sweden before travelling to New Zealand. We travelled with team Busther to visit the MEGA in Auckland and of course also do some sightseeing and geocaching around NZ, a great combination.
The logging of the cache was straightforward. A nice little piece of art nearby. Are there many of these in NZ?
Thankyou for the puzzle and the cache and greetings from Sweden.

TFTC. Well I was in MEGA land and a plan had been hatched back in CHCH to go an play with karma reprint and The Wanglers. We were not just hunting numbers, but following more high browed activities such as art appreciation and geotourism.
We drove over 600km today with two GPS's attached to the windscreen allowing for superior navigation and we had laughter every km of our journey.
This was part of our pickup in and around Hamilton. Not a breath of wind today so aour numbers were safe.
Thanks HKCB for creating this puzzle.

Found by Team PWR PKT,( PurdiePurdie, TheWanglers and KarmaReprint) on a road trip to Hamilton. The start of an AWESOME day, full of caches (>160) and fun (>>160). Thanks for the fun puzzle and hide.
Met up with some cahing buddies, purdiepurdie and karma reprint, after I arrived in Aukland this morning at 8am. Our plan was to hit the Kiwi Art Project down south. Grab a few 'must grab' caches. Head back to Auckland register for MEGA, check into accomodation and then head north to do a trail or two. We had the best day, weather wise, snacks, caches, traffic and company. Lots of laughs were had and the caches fell like no bodies business. We completed trails, chaleenges, aided challenges, did some tourism (visited Zeelong teas), scored brownie points for at home spouses. It was nice to hve had the KAP all sorted before coming up for MEGA, I had emloyed the mother of all spread sheets with colours and formulae up the wazoo. Hats off to the FTFers on this trail doing it on the fly. After solving the puzzles, I didn't know how we were going to tackle the collection. An on the fly method was developed and we tidied all but one that was disabled in less the three hours! We picked up a few puzzles and trads on the way too. Heading to Hamilton and wanted to collect a few puzzles that had been completed especially after not planning to be this far south!
This made for my biggest caching day 54 of 163.
Thanks for the cache.

Solved this fairly easily and was able to make the find today. Have never noticed this artwork, even though I have travelled this road many times. Thanks very much HKCB
Solved this one a while ago and nipped out today to grab it, coords a bit wild but a quick turn off and on of the GPS got us a fix. TFTC!
When this was first published I tried to solve this puzzle without out much success, trying a couple of different strategies. I showed it to my wife a couple of days later and she solved it quickly. We found the cache late at night with the kids asleep in the car on our way home after having dinner with family. We swapped TB's and took the toy car and left a toy dinosaur and a ring. Interestingly I've driven past this location many times and never noticed the object identified in Geochecker. Thanks for the cache and the puzzle.
Say this puzzle come up a wek or so back, solved pretty quick but had to save the find for a dot day, today was the day and I was going past, so a quick stop with my hi-vis on and an easy find.

Needed to find a cache for today and this one filled the spot nicely. Nice little spot, interesting sculpture. Thanks for the not too hard puzzle and the cache for the day.
It was raining this morning, at least parking was close and the find was quick.
+ a marble, - nothing.

First cache on a night mission with Dazzie. A nice puzzle, I was able to solve quickly, then gained a couple of those early red crosses because I had written down the wrong number. Weren't able to make a FTF so left it knowing I was soon going to need caches to keep up my August "every day" challenge. Actually it was good doing it at night, (no one around) but I was sorry I couldn't really see the tornado. Thanks for the fun
panda22 solved the puzzle then I found the cache so good team work. I pass by here frequently and have seen the tornado. TFTC
11975... Cool puzzle, no Tornados near GZ, just a very foggy Waikato morning, TFTC.
After seeing this pop up yesterday I was hopeful that it wouldn't be too difficult as I needed a cache for today as they are getting rather sparse at the moment.
Managed to solve without too many issue (apart from a slight case of Tislexea) but then managed to get the rightful green tick.
Shot out after work and made a quick find at GZ as the nearby Muggle Central was all quiet.
Nice little puzzle which I am glad the CO didn't use as payback for my last cache

FTF at 9.40am
Worked out possible combinations for the co-ordinates, and checked the general vicinity on Google Maps. Made perfect sense, given a nearby landmark, so I was able to narrow down the possibilities and get a green tick on my first attempt!
At home to day with a sick child, so bundled the poor boy into the car and out for a little drive. Located the cache easily and was pleased to see an unsigned logbook
