25-Aug-19
Sorry. I tried really hard to find this one. I have a theory that it has fallen to the bottom of the pole. I have tried to fish it out with wire but other than a stick I have not been able to retrieve anything. I left the wire there in the chance that someone else will have better luck

28-Jul-19
Saw the DNFs but called in as we were passing. Searched a couple of places but to no avail.

**NOTE: Cache needs checking by CO as it may be missing or suffering cache creep

After spending our first night in Alice Springs it was a case of being up nice and early, grabbing a coffee and a bit to eat from Macca's and then hitting the road for a few caches with my two boys while the girls slept. The boys helped with this one and it wasn't until reading the description l realised what the container was all about. l did a cache yesterday around another former race course in town, by the looks of it there was a few of them back in the day. Thanks griffs90 for the cache, nice hide!

Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.

Today I was lucky enough to be out and about so I targeted this cache.

Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!

Thanks griffs90 for placing this cache.

On Day Four of the epic Hevic and CJ-Curry mission to Alice Springs, the temporary team known as the **TTSS** (a.k.a. the **Trans-Tasman Swiss Squad** comprised of zuse7, granville86a, dghoffy, and both Hevic and myself) decided to grab some caches both close to home and a little further out. We ended up with not a single DNF and we ended up finding all the caches in good nick. Thanks Squad!

Another quick straightforward find before the big adventure of the day. Cheers!

###Trip to the *Red Centre Experience* 2017###

Unfortunately, half of our team is home-based due to work commitment, the other half is lucky enough to be Alice Springs bound, in the company of Team Indiana08. Therefore, for a couple of weeks, our team will be attending some events and possibly finding the odd cache in different states.

---

We can't claim to know a lot about racing, but this pony was an easy winner for us and gave another smiley on our map. We found it in the company of Team Indiana08 without any trouble when it was already getting dark.

Thanks for the hide and the historical cache notes

After an early morning of caching as the sun rose, we went back to camp to pack and head home from the Red Centre Experience event. Yesterday we asked our taxi driver to pick us up at 10 so we could cache some more on the way to the airport. Made another quick dash from the taxi and made a cute find.

After spending some time exploring the Event site, we headed into Alice to replenish our cash supply and also grab a bite to eat. We spent the afternoon learning more about the city and finding caches in places we would not have thought to go before we started geocaching. Thanks for the info and the cute hide.

**FEEDBACK TO CO:** Not sure why this cache is carrying a 'Needs Maintenance' icon (Attribute) - everthing looks A-OK. Have a read of this Help Centre article: [Remove the “Needs Maintenance” icon](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404)

Thanks griffs90 for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Our Spring Geocaching trip go this year to Australia...yes you read right, in Finland is spring now.
We visit in Australia (Adelaide, Murray Bridge, Port Augusta, Whyalla, Coober Pedy, Uluru, Alice Springs, Port Vincent and other place which are on the way those places) on April 05.-20.

We see many beautiful place where we visit and enjoy every cache what we found, so humble thanks every cache owner that you hiding this cache!

We (kapeka, laalaa, J&T. and Hiltsu) use common nickname Team ICE, T-ICE or TICE that we saves space in the logbook.

Thanks For To Cache!
Greetings from Finland

Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.

All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!

We spent three days caching around Alice Springs. This is so different area than bushy flat desert around it. Lots of beautiful places to see. Truly Red Centre Experience for us.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland!

14-Apr-17
Found it with TICE [Hiltsu, J&T, kapeka & laalaa]

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

Greetings from Finland!

14-Apr-17
Caching in the Alice Springs and Eastern MacDonnell ranges region for the long, long weekend all thanks to the Red Center Experience geocaching event in Alice 13-17th April 2017. My apologies for a generic log, but I'm notorious for not logging my caches. I am just trying to get up-to-date so someday I can celebrate milestones again. cheers and thanks to all for their efforts to make the hide findable and most in a location worthy of a visit without geocaching (but I'm glad I got a smiley too!)

14-Apr-17
Another fine day to be out enjoying the sunshine and good friends! Many thanks for the placement on these caches!
