After checking this one on the way home tonight, we will be out soon to replace and put a new cache container and log into the field.
Considering the last 5 logs have been DNFs, I will disable this cache for a maintenance check. Apologies to those unlucky seekers.
We searched for a while and found the most likely location for the cache, and there was a fake bug right there but we couldn't find the cache, thinking perhaps it was muggled.
Poked around, found what looked like swappable, but no cache. Strongly suspect muggling unfortunately.
Found a tree with lots of likely nooks and cracks! Searched the general area. No luck!
Out completing a nearby series and couldn't just walk past and not add our stamp to the log. Not quite a sistema any more but an easy find. All in good condition.
Early Friday afternoon while in the area on errands proved to be the perfect opportunity to visit the freeway reserve and this cache. Grateful there was no one around at 1315, so had time to calmly check out a few spots until the correct spot was spotted. Thanks for keeping this cache running AdventureNauts.
Cheers

Hi from Canberra
Decided to log off work early and get some fresh air and caches. Thanks for the hide, nice quick find.
In the area, so took the opportunity to grab a couple of caches. Parking in a nearby street was a good idea as it was a short walk to the GZ and a quick pickup. The cache was nicely hidden and in good condition. Thank you K_Wolf for placing the cache and to AdventureNauts for maintaining it.
We quickly found this cache, but I suspect an interim container has been substituted for a muggled original. Tftc.
Silly me was looking for sistema container. Finally came back and thought no this is a great hiding spot let’s have a dig around and ta da
Great day for a walk to explore a bit of green space......oh and to find some caches
A little bit of a hunt for this one but got there in the end. TFTC

Suscoe had a delightful day out in this area.
It was a sunny day with a gentle breeze every now and again.
We enjoyed the streetscapes in this area, a mixture of older homes and some new large builds. We also liked the walking trials too.
Thanks to the AdventureNAuts for this cache.
With the recent DNFs we checked the area and worked out where the cache might have been from the photo, no sign of it today.
We have left a replacement cache and log until the CO is able to call past and check this hide.

amaali and I are out today doing a few caches in this great reserve, we have come down from Lalor and Thomastown and so far have done OK. Thank you AdvenureNauts for your cache.
Greytiger
Greytiger
Greytiger and I are on the hunt, cache was found and signed and Greytiger was not to impressed with the blackberry bush, blood was spilt. TFTC.
This one revealed itself quite quickly.
A nice one to collect on our way around the reserve.
Thanks AdventureNauts for keeping it going.
Chiefton!!!

A quick find on the way back to the car. Had to time it well as there were a lot of young muggles and dogs around. Tftc
I walked past the cache thinking that would be a good hide hole as the GPS said 10 more metres. But then as it settled I went back and signed the log. Tftc
Although initially looking in the wrong spot this was a relatively quick find in the end TFTC
We were on a epic journey just north of here, but decided to break the journey with a quick find. The tree cover didn't do us any favours, nor the terrain for the pram, but eventually we looked in the right spot and discovered the cache. Thanks for placing this here for us and for keeping it going. TFTC
This would be a great place to walk the dog. Today I was here solo, and quickly picked up this cache and a couple of the new ones. Thanks adventurenauts
A quick detour off the wide open parklands into the shady area and a quick find. Tftc
Some new caches in the area enticed Gunks and I out and there was a couple more already there. Quick find in a nice place. TFTC
While out search some nearby caches found this easy find. Cache in good condition. Thanks for this cache. 932
After an easy stroll across the park , Mr Ozjeeper was rewarded with a quick, easy find.
Almost didn't find this one - but I did the well-known caching thing of "maybe I'll just have another look over here..." And there it was! TFTC
Found at 2335 on a night-caching run (er, drive/stroll) with SirJ-Oz while I was down south. This was one of those 'just one more' caches just when you think you're done - we parked nearby and strolled towards GZ, only to discover a group of men involved in some type of torchlight shenanigans. They were pretty close to GZ and I thought they may have been hunting the cache, but we decided to hang back and see what happened.
What happened was that they manhandled (or should that be menhandled as there was more than one of them?) a small dead tree across the park and off for some nefarious activity (I'm guessing they run an illicit mini-beaver pelt breeding facility and ran out of food).
Once we were sure they had gone the search was on - I was a little concerned that the cache might've been attached to the tree, but SirJ soon came up with the goods.
Thanks for the cache K_Wolf (and adoptive owners the AdventureNauts) - you couldn't outfox us this time, but the fox that ran across the road in front of the car as we left did!

Find #3502. Found @ 23:37 with AmethystPig
With the bejeweled swine in town, a plan was hatched to go in search of a cache or more. Looking at caches that nether he nor I had found was pretty much a list of what I'd not found. As I don't get out this way very often, we decided to come to MrDr home territory to try our luck.
On the way home from our planned adventures and we decided to try for one more which was only a slight diversion from the route home. When we parked nearby and made our way to GZ, there were voices and torch activity going on. We figured that it was either another group of cachers, or dog walkers (as it was too cold for anyone sane to be out). Turns out we were wrong, there was a local dragging some fallen tree off to their home (and not so much with the stealth as they were making a might racket doing so).
We waited until they were out of sight through the gate in their back fence before we ventured forth from the gloom to make a quick find near where the fallen tree was, but not too near.
With the cache found, signed and returned, we made our way back to the car, only to stop the car when a fox ran across the road in front of us. Woo-wee, two exciting things happening at the one cache, it was definitely a sign to try for one more cache.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache AdventureNauts

I was in Melbourne with geoson for a few days. The lad was busy with some sort of gaming convention thingy at the Convention Centre in the heart of the City so I set about making plans to tackle a few caches on my travels. Fortunately I was mobile and able to hit up some relatives for accommodation in West Footscray and Croydon which allowed a few easy distance day trips!
I had solved a massive amount of puzzles (many more than I needed) and also targeted old caches, letterboxes, a few GCA caches and any others I happened to be passing by.
I claimed the smiley on this cache on my travels. Cheers and TFTC.
G’day there AdventureNauts, I was in this area today and found your cache Park & More: V GC4KEVT. I added my name to the log book at 6:34 pm on 17 May 2018. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

This geocache was worth it because we were walking for a long time. It was hidden in a very easy spot but you have to have good eyes. Enjoyed it a lot
For some reason there were 2 families with kids doing something in the middle of the field with a wheelbarrow about 20 metres from gz - looked bizarre. But then again a middle-aged man in his work clothes digging around in the scrub must look bizarre too. Loved the hiding spot on this one - I actually saw it but couldnt figure out how to get it out, before finding another way! TFTC!
I needed one to keep my little run of 29 days going, so stopped by here hoping to make the find. Approaching GZ, I remembered being here before, but being muggled out. I looked at the likely spot, but had no luck. Expanded my search, but kept returning where it should be...and eventually made the find. Thanks for maintaining the cache, AdventureNauts.
Coordinates were spot on but I missed it first time around. Then had flashbacks to a scene from Flash Gordon when competitors were facing off, taking turns in a deadly challenge! No such dramas today though! Had never been here, but glad the cache showed me the way. Thanks for keeping it going Adventurenauts! The geodog had a blast!
Boy, that's a big field. I pity the guy who has to mow it. It must be a terribly boring job. Anyhow the cache was found quickly and in good condition. Thanks guys for the quick find.
Had to go for a short walk until some boys vacated the area. Went straight to a likely looking spot but didn't locate. Eventually came back to the same place after a few minutes looking from a different angle with success. TFTC
First time finding a geocache! Secluded enough next to a popular dog walking spot, stealthily hidden!
A nice ride here from Bellbird park along a windy track , an interesting location too , thanks
My first Geocache!! - recommend trying to find during the daylight *SPOILER IMAGE*
7/11 for the day after attending an event at Monash University. Quick stop on the way home. TFTC.
Great hide, thanks for the cache! Filling in the afternoon with the geokids caching and playing in the park
Dad and teen dashed out after dark for a little find and to tick another day off on our calendar. Cache found without difficulty and log signed. TFTC.
Found it.
I quite like this park, I've had lunch here a few times. And the walk through the trees, is a very nice break from suburbia.

Dreary day. After shopping at Forest Hills stopped by to locate this cache. Cunningly hid with quite a few other potential hidey holes as well. No muggles around so had the park all to my self. The zip bag is torn but the cache is in good order otherwise. TFTC TNLN SL.
Find #1164
I was on my way home from a day out and was in the mood for some caching. I decided to stop by this one as it was kind of on the way home. Luckily I still had the head torch in from a previous evening of caching so I was able to find the cache pretty quickly despite the phone playing up... I was pretty certain I wasn't on the other side of the field! Nice hiding spot. TFTC!

Found in the dark on the way to pick up my daughter from ballet. Not so easy to extract from hiding soot but got there in the end. Thanks.
Well, look closely and bring small hands. Thank you for the cache. Nice fresh day, lots of sun. Good find
Found this gem tonight thanks for placing it. Path a lil slippery with my work shoes on.. didn't plan that too well!
This is cache # 500 and blue switch day. I have got the bug now in this game. Hook line and sinker!!! Since blue switch day a friend in one of my group of friends always chatted about this game but none of us could quite get our head around it. Now finally at a stage in my life I have time to give it a go, I did. After my first find I sure do get it now. Thanks heaps CO. It's always great to be out and about.
A second go at this came up with the prize. In the one place we didn't see before.
It must have been the hat and sunglasses which threw me off. I went around and around for quite a while until I stepped around and hit the right angle....
GeoNana found this hunting with us on her birthday. Took 5 minutes at GZ to make the find. TFTC!
First maintenance run as the new owner. Cache in very good order. Cleaned out an old log book. Plenty of little swaps in there for the next finder.
