After leaving half of the group at the last cache, the willing and able continued up to this one. We were initially concerned that the recent burn off may have claimed this one but one of the young people stood within a metre of it before spotting it. Lucky it wasn't the real thing.
Thanks for the challenge.
Thanks for the challenge.
I definitely needed a break here. After a short search, I found the serpent. Thanks for the cache
I was pretty bummed I couldn't find the slithery sucker. It must be pretty camoed... And my clothing of choice wasnt the best as my legs started getting itchy from the long grass.
Looked but am always a little uncomfortable in long grass that could easily be snake territory.
Still happy I came, as I saw a big echidna on the path in the way up the hill!

This was an easy one. Although the protector of the cache is well camouflaged, it was possible to see him from the path and head straight for the cache.
We are now picking up a few last finds in Townsville before our last dinner out here before heading home tomorrow.
We picked up a couple and then headed off for one last climb, we don’t think there’s a mountain that we have left untouched here.
We have loved our caching adventure up in sunny Townsville!

Tuesday. After going over some rough terrain, and then finding a very civilised set of steps (it’s like the red carpet!!) we came up to this cache. We looked and looked. Arrows were no help, so geoeyes were needed. It was just as I looked at Que Sera that she mentioned a previous log and so I called out found it just as she called out a hint. Here I was looking on the ground . Cache log retrieved and signed. Replaced as found. We then headed up further up the stairway to heaven.
This was the 3rd of 15 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***corikra***, for showing us this place.

Needed to catch my breath by the time I got to this cache. Slow puncture spotted the hide. Glad it wasn't real. Thanks for the workout and scary cache
While staying in Townsville and needing some exercise we decided to hike the Dianella Track on Castle Hill.
Good coords and an interesting container
Many thanks for the cache corikra

Well I got there eventually and probably good that I had walked a little today as could see it was fake on return. Log a bit damp and pen didn't want to sign properly. Tftc
On a hot streak with TheSills. Geokids got a kick out of this container. Nice hide

Damn. Checked spoilers just before i looked up and saw the bushman’s nightmare. Where are my long boots?
After we searched around for a while turquoisepepper spotted something and we were sure (at least we hoped) that we got the cache!! Cool container! TFTC
"How should we find the cache over here? It could be everyw....oh. found it." Nice one, thank you!
Have a break and a heart attack?no just a small fright, nicely done tftc fraenkies
Awarding this one a favourite point for the placement and cache container. Super cool. Container still in good condition. Heading up and onwards in search of next cache. TFTC.
Missed this one on my last visit. It wasn’t until I reach the next geo cache I realised I walked right passed it. Didn’t have the fitness to track back up. Back again, wet and damped but still good weather for exercise. Tftc
Nice one The cache is A1 TFTC Merci pour la cache Greetings from Montréal Québec Canada
Out for a quick walk up the mountain before a day of workshops. thanks for the hides this one took me a while but was obvious after spotted.
Lmao!!
My fav cache to date!
Late afternoon, mossies started to carry me off, was about to bolt then saw it, 20 mins looking was truly worth it, many thanks!!
Also, fit muggles on their own (you can't hear approaching chatting) can walk past nearby quietly so keep an eye out prior to retrieving/stashing cache )

Up the hill with frullet Jr. took a bit of searching but 20 mins later and I had it in hand. Frullet Jr was sitting next to it and didn't notice it. Thanks for the hide:-)
Awesome cache. Left this one and decided to go and get the last one on this track. Found on the way back SL TFTC
Walking up with *Filip* and his mum.
First caches to log for F online even if we have done a few together earlier. This was Australian first for me. New log in perfect condition!
Tanks for the cache

On Castle Hill looking for another cache and decided to finish off the Dianella Track series. I found the first two when they were published back in August 2013.
On reaching the GZ, the search for the prize took me far longer than it really should have. I was looking at the wrong level and after adjusting my search parameters, the prize was quickly located.
Took and left nothing. Log signed. The cache container was found to be in excellent condition, but the log has deteriorated substantially and is hard to sign. Finding this cache has now given me a total find count of 1262.
Thanks for the Cache hide corikra Happy to finally cross the Dianella Track series off of my caching list.

Staying at a caravan park in Townsvillle, on our 3rd trip around Australia.
Today, we decided to tackle a few caches on Castle Hill.
Geo-wife tackled this walk, as geo-hubby planned to walk another trail.
She took the lazy approach, and the walk was broken up by finding a cache or 3.
Walked 45m passed this one and had to double back. Loved the camo.
Many thanks for placing this cache, corikra, to give us a little exercise.

Really cool. Took me a while to find though. The paper has had some water damage and could be replaced. Had none on me otherwise would have done it for you. Tftc
Another Monday, another trek up Dianella Tk! This one took far longer than it should have and was only found when geoD spotted something out of the corner of his eye. IT was then time to sign the log which was far harder than it would seem, with the squadrons of mosquitoes attacking us.
The cache was replaced and then we continued the journey up the hill with the rest of the sweaty muggles.

We had just done 'You've done the warm up now' and thought 'this one isn't too far away'.
Once again loved the cache container.
Nice quick find and then up the hill again.......

Nothing is at it seems. No need to be afraid of snakes here. Very clever . TFTC .
Climbing the hill with GeoWife on a track we haven't travel before. Loved grabbing the caches as we went.
Searched for this for about 20mins when GeoWife yelled out 'found it'.
Nice camo

After a nice morning trekking around Mt Stuart, I foolishly headed up this track in the blazing afternoon heat. This foolishness wasn't really planned, but it only seemed a short distance from the warm up. By the time I arrived, I needed to catch my breath. Finding this cache certainly gave me plenty if opportunity to do that.
I searched here and there and everywhere! I was about to give it away, but thought I'd check one area I hadn't looked too closely at. Glancing back up the hill, there it was. Boo, Hiss, Corikra. I was nearly beaten by your camo today! Glad to find this one.
Thanks for the cache, Corikra

Expectations are not reality , when looking for something you have expectations of what you are looking for, I was close but location and type were wrong. Well done, gave me a chance for a long breather onward and upward.TFTC fave.
Wow! it took me at least 30 minutes to gather this one.
After hiking up the hill I had to find this one as I knew others had done so.
It became frustrating as I looked everywhere back & forwards without luck, the kookaburras and magpies were laughing at me because I could not find it so I continued searching.
Then I stood back and relaxed and then it hit me. I was so happy.
What an ingenious hide - congratulations to the owner.

The next stretch was a bit harder although it didn't take that long to get there. Pulled out the GPSr when I stopped for a breather and I was only 10m away. Headed in and looked all around. Nothing that promising anywhere. Circled a bit more getting spider webs all over me. Hmmm. Coords are nearly always spot on. Checked the logs and did what everyone else has done, looked back and saw it. Aha! Reminds me of another trail again. I was careful to get the cache and sign the log. I note that the last two online logs are not in the paper version. Also the case with the next one.
I was thinking of turning back and getting the last one from the top next time but then thought "what the heck".
Thanks!

That took longer than it should have, but well worth the hunt TFTC

This took me far longer than it should have. I looked high and low checking all sorts of "suspicious" looking objects before I decided it was taking to long and I'd better move on so I could make it to the top before I had to head to work. I took a final look around before leading and the container popped into my field of view. Nice one! A favourite from me. TFTC.
And the last one of the 'invisible caches' as they shall heretofore be called in the Lokipagan household [^]. Another very clever hide that took a few minutes before it appeared. Love it . A great walk up the hill this morning but we chose not to continue on after finding this one . Thanks corikra
