DNF It definitely isn’t in the GZ of the coordinates this GC app on my phone or Cachly were bringing me too anyways,,,
While staying in Townsville and needing some exercise we decided to hike the Dianella Track on Castle Hill.
Like several before us we couldn’t locate the cache today.
Thanks anyway corikra

22/04/2019 looked around could not find, according to previous logs the cashe was damaged and it hasn’t been found for a while
Found eventually after following the sounds of flowing water I found a nice little castle hill waterfall that would rarely get to flow here but flowing nicely atm! Thanks for bringing me here! Will attempt the trail possibly this weekend
Toil day in the Ville. Clever hide, lucky we read the description for detail. Cache in bad condition. Lid broken and log damp. Placed in clip seal bag for now as no spare containers for replacement. TFTC
No idea where this is meant to be, but if you scratch around long enough it might come to the surface. Be gentle as lid is broken
Checked all along beginning of the track area - searched high and low - perhaps it has been moved? Photo does not help
Looking at starting to tackle the plethora of caches on Castle Hill thought this might be a good place to start. The nearby track is not one we were familiar and seemed just as good as any a place to start.
A fairly quick find from eagle-eyed Geokid and once logged was signed off we headed.
Tried to camouflage as bed we could considering how dry the area is.

TFTC. This was our last day in Townsville . We had just completed all the caches we could along The Strand. We were getting close to a milestone so we looked for some caches as we headed black to camp at Ross River Dam.
We pulled up here and quickly located the hide. I then left Linda and climbed up the hill for the warm up

The kids loved learning about the Graveyard, and had a good time searching for the Cache.

Found this laying on the ground out in the open, signed log, tucked it back where we thought it belonged...TFTC
Picture helped find this one, didn’t want to spend too much time in the cemetery.
We decided to put a new container. If the CO is not happy he can take it off. Look for the spoiler photo. The new container is on the ground at the corner. TFTC
Where we were directed did not have places where things could be hidden. The only place 20 m away where it could be probable was surrounded by high bushes where I would not dare to go with the kids....
Gz coordinates make no sense. Looked in some more likely spots but nothing. CO needs to check I think.
Technically the last cache for us before leaving Townsville and heading south. So many still to find though! Guess we'll have to come back one day.
Liked this cute little hide. It was quickly found. Two walkers headed off up the closed trail while we were here.
Thanks, a favourite point from us.

Day 2 Townsville today for a week, set up in the caravan park
After a lunch break we headed out looking for caches & a Chinese Resteraunt to go to.
This was a very sneaky littlehide, it could easily be over looked.
Thanks for placing this cache corikra

Out for a quick walk up the mountain before a day of workshops. thanks for the hides it was dark when I tried to find this one but it was quickly spotted
This was a great cache that I feel deserves a favourite point. My nephews face was priceless when we found it.
We had some time to kill today and saw this Cache was not to far from the road. With the humidity of this time of year this was to be the only Cache that we searched for on Castle Hill. Once the GPS settled we quickly spotted the little hide, in fact it took us longer to extract the log book than what it did to find it.
After signing the log book it was a quick return to the aircon of the car.
Cheers.

Out with frullet Jr. To claim a few caches. Got to gz and soon after arriving frullet Jr said dad I got it. I quickly signed and replaced before anyone saw what we were up to. Thanks for the sneaky hide.
Out with frullet Jr. on a hill climbing mission with a few caches along the way. No luck with this one but we will be back.

I honestly don't know how I missed this sneaky cache earlier this afternoon! The sun was pretty darn bright, and my cheapie sunnies very scratched! Returned with RobS72 who was keen to see the new cache and location, when it was slightly cooler and scored this one later in the afternoon! Sneaky cache! Cool!

Sooo happy we found the prize tonight . Have been wanting to do this one as part of ther series we conquered but unfortunately it went missing. Saw today it got replaced so after work we headed out even though it was already dark. Never thought I'd be going around a cemetary at night time trying to find a cache...somewhat spooky. However, armed with a torch we made the find after a short search and absoluteky loved the camo. tftc corikra and sl tnln
On a road trip up to Townsville for a very important meeting for Mrs Bundy. She is heading to Japan for a month away, in a couple of months time, with Scouts to attend the 23rd World Scout Jamboree. She is going as a Troop Leader, in charge of 36 people. I feel its a great honour for her, for her 25 + years of dedicated work as a leader.
An annoying little bugger.
Cheers

Spent a good 20 minutes looking for this little blighter, looking high, and low, and high again, without success. After 3 no finds, I think this one has "gone to the gods". I'll keep an eye out just in case it gets "resurrected".
Not sure if this one is still in place. Will check on it as soon as I get a chance.
Me and my daughter are stretching and stretching the muscles becomes longer and longer but no caches smiled to us.
I did it with fotolog because tomorow we go to rockville, than sydney and than back to germany.
Greetings from germany.
Danke für den Cache sagt lucy61

Myself and two helpers searched and searched! It got the better of us and will come back and try again soon!!!
Shot out to grab a cache on a Saturday afternoon to fill in the 'zero' we had for this date.
Nice quick find which is what we're after on a warm afternoon!

Didn't have to stretch my eyes to hard for this one. I must have had my cache goggles on.
Got a park close to the start of the track and soon had a camouflaged cache in hand.

I'm a glutten for punishment, so I came here in the hottest part of the to grab some solved puzzles and collect a sightseeing clue. Naturally, I did a little stretching first.
The coordinates were absolutely spot on. Nicely hidden. Thanks for the cache, Corikra.

Quick find whilst doing some stretches. Just what I need is some physical type caches to get the heart pumping, got a 30km hike coming up in the new year. TFTC
Parked close by. Another sneaky hide. Unfortunately I couldn't persuade Mrs W&K to venture any further up the hillside for another nearby cache.
Thanks Corikra for this hide.

GeoD had intended to leave this one until one of many walks up the hill that are yet to come. Needing a cache to continue our streak and being in the area meant we brought forward our attempt. geoP spotted something out of place straight away and she was soon signing the log.
We spotted a couple of walkers partway up the hill but thought it was a little on the warm side to join them!

I'd actually 'found' this last week but I knew I didn't have a lot of time on this trip so saved it for today to keep the geostreak alive. Not much time between work and the plane home so I went back to the end of the road and made a quick find and then a bit of a look at the nearby graves.
Thanks!

My GPS took me everywhere except to where I thought the cache would be, but after two police cars turned up along with other muggles I decided not to look too suspicious and moved on. The cemetery is the place of recent vandalism.
I did look in the obvious places without luck. Loving the challenge.

Found it but didn't do any stretches...should have as I went further up the hill than I expected today. Thanks for an interesting start to the afternoon caching.

I decided to tackle these new caches n the middaay sun to avoid muggle activity. The only muggles I came across in my trip were heading down the hill as I got to GZ. So I sat very close to GZ and was very interested in the contents of my bag. Once they were clear I could reach the hide from where I was. No stretching required. TFTC.
After our fumble yesterday, we were back this morning to collect those we had missed . Another beautiful morning to get a bit of exercise, although the caches all took a bit of work [^]. We started with this one today, and after hunting around a bit, Loki finally found it neatly tucked away. Thanks corikra
