first one for today, of course someone was blind and needed help finding this one, but thats part of the game, tftc
Heading through to Bluff today, and stopped here along the way to grab this cache. I completely missed the sneaky cache on my first pass, nice hide here, cheers
A plan was hatched quite a while ago when the Dunedin Mega was announced to come over to the South Island again.I have only been to New Zealand twice before and I loved the South Island. So a chance to come back for a Mega was a no brainer for me.Everything was booked and I flew in last Saturday week after a bit of a delay. So after a great few days at Mega central in Dunedin its time to say goodbye. So Day 10 of my Mega NZ trip begins and Im on my own again and so its time to head South to Invercargill which is my next stop for a couple of days.Enjoyed my drive along the scenic route and the sun has decided to come out briefly.Read about what the Catlins and a great read.A quick search had the cache in hand. Thanks mrandmrschosen1978 TFTC.
Day Fourteen of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris. The Mega day today and we spent it traveling from Dunedin to Invercargill. The weather improved this morning, and only occasional shower during our trip.We left early and were in Invercargill by lunchtime. It wasn't really a clear day, so not much view.We checked out the noticeboard, but no cache did we find. Thanks, Robmc.
Out for a drive with Starjammer to give the geobaby his morning nap. A nice quick find at GZ thankfully as otherwise it could have been a wet and windy hunt. TFTC
On our way for a Catlins trip with some caches and AL locations in mind, Mrs SoBad had loaded caches into GSAK. Oops - then forgot to load the caches onto the GPS. So used the phone today and it was fine here. Looked at where we were and where we were going - and found a cache.Thanks.
We are staying in Fortrose for a few days the end of our Catlins tour. Been a very mixed bag of weather so havent been able to explore as much as we wanted. Today I am out for a bike ride first to get a couple of caches near Fortrose and then out to Waipapa Point and back. Ended up with 7 caches and a 42km ride. This is the first cache very quiet here so no problems locating.TFTC
Cesta je fakt moc pkn a myslm, e ped i tu slavnou australskou Great Ocean Road. Today I drove from Dunedin to Invercargill and chose the Southern Scenic Road. And I did well. Beautiful landscape and lots of attractions around. The morning was beautiful, then showers and strong winds came, but I still went on three shorter walks to the lighthouse, to the waterfall and on the beach to the petrified trees. I found 20 caches on the way and I really enjoyed the day. Thanks to everyone for their caches and greetings from the Czech Republic.
We didnt check the arrow as we checked the obvious. Nothing was found, we then checked the listingohalways look at the listing
First time in months this has been found. Had to poke around a bit, and know some caching tricks. Thanks for the hide!
We are on our long-awaited journey around the world in 99 days. Second try after canceling in 2020.
Our third stop after Los Angeles and Hawaii is New Zealand.
This time was of course used to find some geocaches here.
Today we were searching for the Traditional **Welcome to the Catlins (Southland)**.
Thank to the Hints and the good coordinates the little box was found quickly!
After signing the logbook there is a new smile on our geocaching map!
At least we would like to take this opportunity to thank **mrandmrschosen1978** for creating and maintaining this Traditional.
Greetings from Nuermberg/Germany

P.S. To save space in the logbooks, we not only enter in sequence, but also in empty spaces between.

A cache at the beginning(north ) and one at the end(south). A great week spent exploring the Catlins and knocking off a few caches along the way. Log is wet. Tftc
A new fence near here, but it hasn't disturbed the cache at all. Neat little hide, thanks for placing.
Now I am in Catlins, I like this area, so peaceful.
Try to find a lot in the next days.
Did a photo of the map.
Thanks

Out of a day sightseeing and caching with gdkja. Great hide. Log a bit wet but ok Tftc
Out and about enjoying the history of our country and discovering hidden gems.
While clearing cobwebs from spending a week with mum in hospital, off for a little sea breeze in the nostrils, before heading back to Central Otago for a week..... hopefully.

Geopup needed a pit stop so what better place to stop. Kill 2 birds with one stone. Staying a couple of nights at nearby Fortrose in our motorhome along with a gazillion others. Quick easy find. TFTC.
I drove through this way in the morning - and this area was being used by the roadworks people - definitiely wouldn't have been cool to expose this cache to that group of muggles !
Anyway, all quiet now and quick find. Thanks, MrandMrsChosen1978.
Now I'm off the a 21st Birthday Party event at Bluff !

We are slowly heading back home after finishing the hump ridge track , picking up few caches on the way. It was an incredible three days of pure magic. Thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.

Used the caching instincts and boom there it was. Bonus being able to see Rakiura in the distance! Found with Piwaka54 on our epic southern adventure. TFTC
It took me a while to find this final cache for the day.
This cache was found on our second summer campervan trip. JDScout and I plan to do three this summer. This trip is from Christchurch to Bannockburn to the Catlins and back.
Thanks for hiding this cache chosen1978 I appreciate it. It has helped add an extra layer of fun in our holiday.

A nice quick find thanks. In time for a late lunch in Fortrose.
Ms_KR and I are on the road to Southland to finish off the Southern PW GeoTour. Today we cruised to Dunedin, hoping to finish off the Rima PWGT caches. (we did!). We had showery weather, but mostly it was dry, and saw some awesome sights
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Mr seeking aurora on a windy cloudy evening. Don’t think I’ll even get out the tripod. Cache is where it has always been. Last two “Found It” logs are the last two signatures on the logsheet. All good here.
I write "WRITE NOTE" because it is a time when we can't go on a long adventure, so I travel in the memories of my visits to New Zeusemad. Of this adventure in New Zealand, I only stretch Travel Bug. Writing "FOUND IT" is probably not right anymore, it wasn't today, but I was here before. And unfortunately I won't get here again.
I am sending a beautiful greeting from the Czech Republic.

Despite some hunting no luck with this one. Lots of long wet grass and very wet under foot. Maybe needs a hint and a check whether it is still there.
not to sure where I may have gone wrong in not finding it, a good excuse to come back again
Quick stop here - looking forward to the drive through the Catlins as we have never been here before log signed - thanks for the cache
Overshot this mark so had to turn around.. Had to grab as this area is part of reason to visit a new area for us both caching or not so we were all eyes trying to take everything in . Thanks for the Cache.
Found on our South Island roadtrip. Nice container here. log signed. After a good nosey at the signpost we are off to Fortrose towards the lighthouse. TFTC
Out fishing at slope point so thought I would get this one. Nice park and grab tftc.
Ninth day of a two week motorhome excursion, heading via the Coast to the lower South Island, picking up a few caches along the way – seven today. Meandering from Invercargill to The Catlins today. This one wasn’t where I thought it was going to be, but found it reasonably quickly nearby. #3367. TFTC.
Awesome geocashe and an awesome spot best disguise I've ever seen thanks friend 4 fun spot.

Found with MrsC on our NZ travels from the UK. A days drive through The Catlins, Quick find, thanks.
A nice way to start our whisrlestop tour of the Catlins. Found with mr c on our travels from the UK thank you.
On an awesome adventure with KGS in the Catlins today! It involed a 36km detour in each direction, but we had a great time and found lots of caches in spite of suboptimal coffee supply. TFTC!!
On a caching weekend to Otago and Southland with Tuolei to pick up old caches, TMGT's, CANZ, solved puzzles and any others that caught our eye along the way. We had a 4 day long weekend planned that would take us around Dunedin on the first day, Tuatapere via Sutton, Balcutha, Mataura and Winton on the second day, Tokanui via Riverton, Invercargill and Bluff on the third day and then back to Dunedin via the Catlins on the last day. Overall we did 1578km and picked up just under 100 caches and managed to knock off most of the caches we had on our list.
Called by for one last cache of the day before driving to our night stop. Quick grab by Tuolei here, wonder why there was several parked cars in the area with no signs of anyone around? TFTC.

On a caching trip with Bennett24, travelling around Otago and Southland collecting TMGT caches, oldies, solved puzzles and anything else interesting that we thought we would enjoy.
By now we are heading to our air bnb down in Tokanui but since this was for the both of us, our first visit to the Catlins we decided it would be a good idea to stop off and receive a cache style Welcome to the Catlins. A find for me here as I quickly zoned in on where I expected the cache to be and found it without trouble.
Thanks for the cache - all good here.
