Finally found it. After about 10 minutes searching (luckily very few muggles around), Mrs tryfyn asked how long ago this was last found and I was able to say "About 1/2 second ago. " I've been looking for this one for quite a while. Unfortunately, whilst I found the cache, it was empty. No container and no log. I've sent the CO a photo to prove the find. TFTC.
Spent a good fifteen minutes peeling bark off the tree before finally figuring out where this one was. Nifty!!
Visited this one many times with the kids, even been on my own with the dog. Searched high, and low, even had an Indian with feathers in his hair, ride by on a horse (thought I was seeing things). But still no luck.
Found it after working out the clue and really thinking hard... cool clue and very appropriate. Lots of muggles about though.
Today is the day been here several times with out a find. Decided this was my cache of the day for my streak but did have a back up but didnt need it.
Stopped and got fish and chips for the kids dinner then parked up nearby and searched and searched while the kids ate dinner. I was getting no where so I messaged my helpdesk but they were in bed sick and it was a long time ago they had found it. Then a lovely muggle from Seaway tce came down and asked if i was allowed a hint. They hadn't seen it but have witnessed alot of people looking for it they told me i was very close to it just needed to go higher I thanked them and they left then in a matter of seconds I had the cache in hand. Yay glad to get this easy cache and turn into a smiley

Late afternoon caching with My.Precious. Did as directed and yes, there it is. Signed our joint dom-de-plume TT2M.P
Late afternoon and out caching with Tigatat2. Followed the hint to the letter and as I have seen these before it wasn't long before the log was retrieved and signed with the joint monogram of TT2M.P

Staying nearby with a relative so came for a walk to get some caches. Man gave us a bit of a hint as to where it could be. Still had to look quite hard. Never found one of this type before. Nice.TFTC
Staying in Tauranga with a relative. Had to get the close caches. Nice walk along water front brought us to this one. Staring in the wrong spot. Stupid phone. Man that lives across road gave us a bit of a clue as to which direction to look in. Son was most pleased when we found our first one of this type.
looking and looking and then the man down the road side what its over in that area so we looked in that place and then found it. nice camo. TFTC
Our second on this beautiful day. Miss six and miss four loved this one. Thank you
We are leaving Tauranga tomorrow so last chance to pick up a few more local caches and to attend to unfinished business including finding a few solved puzzles.
After finding the 2 caches in Kulim Park, we walked on to this cache, wishing we had brought our bikes with us as this is a great biking path. With the help of the hint, we got ourselves to the right spot to find the cache. An ideal location for this sort of hide. TFTC.

#11930. The hint was puzzling at first, but with a bit of pondering we worked it out and were soon signing the log. TFTC.
We are cruising around over the long weekend, picking up caches as we go.
Nice hide, nice spot

Nice hide. Clue lined up well. Found with Broozer today. Nice to watch the big cruise ship. TFTC
Found earlier in the month with my Nan, I have lost my ipod, am sorry for late log, A great hide, and a big cruise ship to look at. TFTC
We hunted high and low and had no luck. The DTS were setting in so we went home and had a couple of wines and dinner and
Tackled it again. Yes!
Tackled it again. Yes!
Great we cache have seen a few of these but this one is by far the trickiest to find ....I guessed roughly where I thought it would be but the co -ords kept telling lies as GPS's do from time to time glad to conquer this one thanks heaps for the challenge
A tricky one! This had us searching for a while before Kate widened the search and came up trumps! I can see how this one would elude many people. A beautiful afternoon out with kateandhunter, sharing the geocaching love!
We were a bit worried about finding this one after the recent difficulties. Once we broadened our understanding of the clue we discovered it. Although I can certainly understand why this one posed a challenge for others. The kids loved the box - a cool idea and clever camouflage!
DNF for me tonight I had a muggle ask if I had lost something I told her about geocaching but she didn't really get it thought my GPS was like a metal detector that could pick up plastic containers as well. Lol I've been here several times before but not for a while will have to try again another time.
Another all day mission with 11HPG11 and iammrwalker, this time focusing on the other side of Tauranga. I had just finished logging the all the caches we had found in Papamoa when I looked at the map and thought why not have a crack at the other side as well!
A early start as we were on the road at 4.30am as we needed to be back not to late otherwise we'd be in the dog box when we got back home. Another fantastic day out with lots of the usual laughter and this time the weather was much better behaved. In total over 80 finds, with only a couple of DNF's and we got back in time to stay out of the dog boxes, just!
We signed the log books with Hi1, an acronym of our caching handles. A big thanks to all the CO's for all the placements, and for taking us to places we hadn't been before.
Didn't have to many issues finding this one, but it did take a little bit of hunt. Cache hadn't been put back properly or has been interfered with as it was in pieces but we returned it back how it should be. Thanks for the hide.

Out and about trying to clear off another chunk of Tauranga geocaches. Again accompanied by HKCB and Iammrwalker, this seems to becoming a habit. Early start, head to Tauranga, cache the whole day, say we will be home early, end up being home later and then grovelling out of the dog box. This time we set off from Hamilton at 4.30am to try and get more caching done before we had to turn around. We seem to be enjoying this so much we are planning a return visit again soon. Signed our logs as "HI1" as an acronym of our respective caching names. A great, laugh filled day that was thoroughly enjoyed.
Took a bit of hunting to find. We re read the hints over a few times then spotted something hiding away. We found the cache separated but soon put it back together after logging.

This was one of nearly eighty Geocaches I found in the company of HKCB and 11hpg11, we signed the log HI1, an anachronism made up of the first initials of our Geocaching handles to save on log space. This was our second trip to the Bay of Plenty. A few weeks ago we conquered The Mount and Papamoa and were back today on another infamous mad mission. We left Hamilton at 4:30 am and I was back at home in time to read my two boys a story and tuck them into bed at 7:30pm. We had a fun day exploring the area and got to see lots of parts of the area we hadn’t experienced before. A big thanks to all the cache owners who took the time and effort to place so many high quality and well maintained hides. Thanks also to HKCB for organising the day and driving. I think it was fitting to undertake these trips during the ‘Geocaching Road trip’ Groundspeak promotion, as it typified all those things that make a good road trip, most importantly good company. There were plenty of laughs and some memorable shenanigans.
I dread hides like this one but thanks to the hint I was able to spot this one tucked away a little deeper than expected. The base and outer container had separated so I put all back together before returning it.

Out for my cache of the day and this one has been bugging me for awhile now, after recently finding acacia cache thought this is what could be going wrong so today was to be the day.
Shot down and luckily not many muggles around GZ so was able to get on with my search. After a bit of a hunt around finally had this elusive cache in hand and pretty much ticked of this side of town now Cheers bridgaway this one was a challenge that took about 5 visits so fantastic to finally tick it off

Our 250th find !!!
got to the spot nice and easy - but it was one of those that you really have to read the clue to get it !!! - really like ones like that which make you think alittle different than normal
Thank you

I had an awesome caching day at otumoetai with thescoobydoos - without any kids for a change! I love this one great hint. It took us a little while to find. Thescoobydoos spotted it first. Tftc
Oooohhhh, I'm pleased to say we found this one! Had looked at previous logs, and was expecting it to be a tricky hide, so we almost didn't even venture here, as our time-frame today was rather tight. But thought we'd give it a go. Hunted high and low, used the clue. Looked at things from a slightly different perspective, and BINGO! TFTC!
The fine weather held for the last day of May so we no excuse but to be out and about on our bikes. Found this one a bit tricky - had to go back and think again before the dawning. Cache in good condition. TFTC
Love but hate this sort of hide lol. Nice hide. Was just about to give up when checked one last place! Tftc
Yay, found it it is such a lovely walk no wonder it is full of muggles. While I was pretending to send a txt, a sharp eyed fellow cacher spotted us pleased I found it before more muggles came past. Tftc
Yay the hint really helped. TFTC been finding some rally cool ones this week.
This was our third or fourth time looking for it, and eventually found it just as we were about to give up. The hint didn't help very much, but we saw something out of the ordinary as other people have said in their logs. Great to finally tick this one off. TFTC.

We had no luck finding this little guy today.
There were a few cycling muggles about, and an area where we suspected could be a good hiding spot, had a lovely wasp nest guarding the area so we thought we had best leave this one for another day.

Found at 2:50. Just about to give up and saw something out of the ordinary. Great cache!
That's two for two this arvo. Thanks for the hint. Sure I looked there every other time I came searching. Nice to tick this one off. TFTC.
Found at last! We had a few visits to this one and it wasn't until we got some help that we were able to locate it so we were most appreciative. We seem to remember the CO's had some trouble finding one of our hides along here "Rest a While" so maybe it is revenge! It is a very busy walkway in a brilliant part of town so we decided to approach in darkness with good results. Thanks Bridgeaway for the hide and our find.
Found on my third visit. I was fairly sure what I was looking for but it still took an age to spot it. TFTC
Well we searched a bit then sat down to read logs and suddenly the clue made sense. So Janet stopped muttering about how she hates this kind of cache and Murray looked for something different and there it was
Then suddenly a guy appeared and asked us why so many people hunt around those rocks. Turns out he's from Te Awamutu and was staying opposite (in the house with huge mirrored windows!). He was fascinated and we chatted for ages (that'll teach him).
Great cache thanks, Bridgeway....great camo...all is forgiven . Happy New Year!!!

7.15pm - I think we turned every rock possible, we weren't leaving until we found it. Had a few muggles asking if we had lost something, anyway after about half an hour of searching finally found it. SLTFTC
Googled the hint as I had no idea what it meant, but soon ran out of time to search for this. I will be back.
We had to google to, with same result...no find for us. Think the difficulty should be a bit higher if it's really there. Must be nicely camoed, maybe another time
This one also took a few minutes to locate in between passing muggles. In the end, spotted something out of place and it was the nicely camo'd cache. Signed log and replaced, TFTC!
Didn't take too long to find, just had to keep looking for something not quite right. Found in good condition and replaced as found. Little bits of craft that go into caches like these I enjoy so it gets a fave from me. Enjoyed the location to so had a little sit down while completing the log, thank you for bringing me here.
Great hide & camo!! Took a few minutes of searching as the rain loomed closer. Googled the hint! TFTC
Clever hide this one could have had us going for some time but steed had his caching eyes on for a change , thanks to bridgeaway.
Found a suspicious hollowed out object with a drilled out hole fit for a geocache tube, but no tube to be found anywhere.
We checked out the cache and yes part of it was missing. So it's been replaced and is now all good.

YayYayYayWe finally found it on our fourth attempt.
Was scrambling around on the rocks then saw part of a lid on the corner of my eye.
Picked it up BINGO there was the cache.
We are glad we have got this one ticked off.
TFTCSL Thanks Bridgeaway

I have a bad history with these types of caches. Caught sight of lid from the corner of my eye. Bingo.TFTC
Must say that I would have struggled to have found this without help from fellow cachers, as was exceptionally tricky hide. Attempted before the afternoon event with no luck and came back later.
21 --- Then the Lord said, “There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock....." ..... and we did and we searched and we found that that was hidden
Thank you for the cache B'away
Thank you for the cache B'away
Collecting a couple of new caches while at the Event, just had to wait for a couple of nearby muggle jet skiers to depart before NZ biscuit made the grab

Out for a joyride...
We had just started searching when my niece alerted me to the lady watching us from across the road. She joined us momentarily to tell us everything we needed to know about the new earthworks. I thought it wise to tell her what we were doing or future cachers will have a similar FYI moment with her.
We began our search but found nothing. I began to doubt my gps so started recalibrating when Keltic-Kiwi arrived. They had the same ground zero... So that signalled the need to widen out. The cache was eventually found by Mr K-K. Nice to meet you too. I laughed at the cache camouflage... I like it. TFTC.

Found jointly with Squirrel Nutcase and Company, was awesome to meet some other Cacher's along the way. Great camo, TFTC.
We were visiting Kulim Park playground this morning with our grandson... and we decided to walk on a bit further to show him this cache. A nice view over to Mt Maunganui from here, and plenty of people out walking their dogs.
Went back today for another look. Can't see a cleft and we won't be coming back until we think we can find it.
