Logs
I am in Canberra attending the Capital City Geobash Mega and while out and about was passing this cache. As I have already found several Mary MacKillop caches I could not drive by and leave this unfound. A quick find of a cache in good condition was made.
Today we are going to hopefully find the Challenge Caches we qualified for. With this done, we headed for this cache, a series we are doing as we travel the country. An amazing woman.Thank Travelling Sister for creating and maintaining this caches.
With permission, at the request of the CO. Cache container, with a new log book has been placed and old log and container removed. All good now, although mumma magpie here is not agreeable about anyone visiting close to her two, rather grown up babies in the next tree!!!
Pulled this one in on the way to chess on a clear Monday evening. Quick find at ground zero (thankfully ) and then headbutted a chunky branch on the way out so we’ll see how that impairs my cognitive abilities at the chess board this evening…thanks for the cache!
And GO THE MATILDAS!
And GO THE MATILDAS!
This was my first ever geocache, and the experience was pretty nice. It was a bit too easy, as I found it immediately after reaching the spot, but I can't attest to the difficulty too much, as I have yet to find others. One thing I will note is that the logbook was quite wet and mushy. It was still accessible though, and I still wrote my name in it.
Tftc travelling sister, made the find here, another Mary McKillop find to add to our tally.

With EdwardCrowley and archgamer whilst we were hanging out for the weekend. Another cold summers day. Happy for the fast find!!! Thanks for the cache.
Pretty easy to find and it's my first geo cache so thx it's fun to do these with others
Tftc! Mackillop was my highschool and i never even walked through this nice strip of nature:)
We came back today to find this cache after attempting it once before, but I believed it needed maintenance at the time. Today was a very easy find. I pulled out the cache to be surprised by a huge huntsman claiming this box as their own. Miss 4 was absolutely terrified!! We moved Mr cache guardian off with some bark and left him on the ground near the tree, signed the log and then took off. Very quiet cache find with no muggles in sight which was a nice change after the last 2 finds at ovals.

Not a problem to find but maybe a new home is required. A large family of extra big earwigs had made it's home all over the cache container. They probably returned after I left.
Yay, have been saving this easy close to home cache for an emergency such as finishing work really late, in the dark bit neesing to find a cache today to complete the found date row for this month. For years I have kept missing this date and did not want to wait another year. So suck it 2020, am claiming some positives out of you!! Easy find and was surprised at how bold this location is. TFTC
