Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Temporarily offline due to being Muggled for the second time. Will look for another location.
Be back soon!

As the GPS pointed me towards GZ I had to negotiate long grass/vegetation to get there. I was amazed how cautious I have become after already having one encounter with a Brown Snake this Spring. Great effort in constructing and placing the cache, a favourite point from me, thanks.
Being a Tradie I enjoyed this one, it was missing either the Red or Black wire just a small technicality
I think that the coordinate may be a little of the mark, as it took me into the bushes a little way. TFTC

# 4591. Back in Port Macquarie this morning with Robmc to find a few caches before flying out on holidays tomorrow. The town was still filled with smoke haze but the muggles didn't seem to mind and were out in force, fishing and exercising.
This one caused us quite a bit of frustration and took us longer than it should have. Our GPS's wanted us to search about 10 metres away and it was only after reading some earlier logs that we widened our search and re-checked what I had investigated already. A nice hide and a favourite point.
Thanks vaggfam

A lazy day's caching around Port with Bettyboo.
Reading the description as we approached it sounded like it might be right on the edge of the roundabout, fortunately this was not the case. We parked in the next street and walked back to GZ. Well, where we thought was GZ at the start! It seemed that the GPSr didn't want to settle here.
We searched around in the bush a bit and BB checked out GZ, and discounted it.
I eventually got around to looking at it and spotted something a bit different. Nicely done, a good variation.
Thanks, Robmc.

08:30 Looked for this one, too quickly, a few weeks ago and having read some suggestions in logs that the coordinates might be a little bit askew, went back today for a closer look. This time, quite a quick find of a very clever cache. Earned a favourite from me. TFTC vaggfam
I loved this cache, it was something that was very interesting, and made real sence once found, Found with wombat 1, and SparkArmSU. TFTC. Yes is very true on a favorite point
Found at 11:44 Sunday, 03 November 2013:
Count: 283
On a day out caching with Koala-1 and SparkArmSU for a couple of hours to show them around the area and introduce them to some of the results of the quite imaginative minds of some of the local cachers, I managed to sneak a couple of finds in myself.
TNLN TFTC vaggfam.
This one deserves a Favourite Point...

Headed out to get our 1 a day cache to fill in our calendar. This was the closest to home that we hadn't found. Hunted around in the bush long enough for Bill to attract a leach. Had said lets try another cache when we though, could this be it. YAH!! found it.
Excellent hide & certainly deserves a favourite point.
Thanks vaggfam

Very smart. We saw it but didn't dare touch it then my son came up and fiddled with it and found it. Very well done. TFTC.
What a crafty little cache. My garmin took me to the bush behind the building and I thought obviously where the bush is trampled down, thats where the cache is.
I looked at the cache a couple of times and thought, nahhhh, couldn't be. Went back over the road to get a pencil from the car and when I got back the lead had fallen out ! Bugger no pencil, so I did the next best thing and took a photo of the log and GZ, I do hope that suffices !
Thanks Vaggfam for a great hide.

By bike today I had no muggle problems with the nearby traffic
And as soon as I stopped I noticed something that might be a cache ?
However that looked like it might bite and convinced by the camo I wandered off to where the GPS pointed.
Eventually the little 'brain worm' of doubt drew me back to investigate closer.
OK!! Is it going to bite ?
I tested it with a stick and concluded it would not
Bravely I finally removed a cache container from the things grasp
That is a natty hide [^]
It had me convinced !!

But despite the lid coming off unusually easily, I took one look at the inside and put the lid back on and ignored it for the next 10 minutes [:o]

OK!! There's a colour missing here.
So tugging on the one shade I knew to be safe, I finally revealed a cache container
Oh that is nasty !!! [^]

WOW! What an incredible cache! So impressed with this one! Had previously logged this as a "Did not Find" so came back today for another look after getting a hint, and like a couple of other logs on here, my GPS was about 10m off, probably due to tree cover.
Thoroughly enjoyed this cache, so much effort has gone into it! Loved it! As a newbie starting to think about how I will create my first cache when the time comes - this has most certainly set that bar very high!

Well where do I start, this had me searching in the bush to no avail.
I searched for 20 mins + the night before, nothing.
I returned the next day and searched for about 30 mins, nothing so as I was leaving I thought, I don't surpose it would be there, guess what..... Bingo.
I own one along the same principle, but this is VERY well done, congrats.
I am giving it a FAV because of the satisfaction finding it.
I am adding my coords as a suggestion to future cachers.

Thanks vaggfam for the effort entertaining us cachers.

On a night caching run with Cookie, and swung by to get one of the further caches within the 80 km zone. While I was looking a bit further away for a different kind of container Cookie took the 'punt' and grabbed the cache.
All good with it. Nick Starrs Starr TB through

0110 GAFF1 Knowing that I would be "On Call" tonight I thought I had better grab a cache 'early on', and it certainly paid off, as I ended up working way past midnight in the end.
Having lived in Port many years ago I was surprised at the changes locally to the cache zone.
While our GPSrs were showing 'over there' by 10 m I saw something a bit familiar, but not out of place. It had me confused until I did retrieve the cache.
Dry and intact with o-ring.
Another for the Night Caching thesis book mark.
Brought through for mileage: 3 Bros, Aust Light Houses, BEAGLE BIXBY, B 2 B ingot, Homer J TB, Iconic Bridges, cache critters Baa, Neigh Neddy, and Oink, PAP, Trakabulldog geocoins and trackable shirt.

Found at 2:30pm.
This is the closest I have ever been to a newly published cache. I was in the Good Guys, only 500m away! Shopping done. It was time for the cache. Quick, quick, make a waypoint in the GPS as I was fumbling about changing batteries. I don't trust the phone, especially for an *ftf*.
I was 8 meters away from my final gz looking for something that might be able to bite me, when my thoughts turned to another "bite" one might be able to receive. I'd already checked it on my way to my first gz but was put off
Once my gps settled it was exactly 0.0m from the cache, well done!
A great cache Vaggfam, thanks.
Cheers from Browngang

Found at 4:42 PM GAFF2. Now there is something that a cacher with a tendency to be a tad jaded really appreciates! An effort made to construct a cache that is clever and just that bit different from other versions of this mode We have seen literally hundreds of caches recently that are just simple Eclipse tins and other scrappy simple containers, just shoved here or there for no specific reason - numbers fodder I suppose
When this cache came out I knew that Browngang would jump onto it in minutes, so I waited until I had a vehicle so that I could go to Target to pick up a lay-by. As I approached GZ and the GPSr showing a distance of 13 metres, I just could not go past an item that I spotted and after checking it out, I nearly let it go as I thought it was a genuine "bitey" one! However I picked up my courage and delved in and sure enough a very nicely put together cache was located. After signing the log sheet, the GPSr had settled down to 5 metres distance.
Thanks vaggfam - deserves a favourite for the workmanship.
Feedback: If you want to know how to put those images into the body of your cache page, just send me an email.
