We stopped here on our journey from Christchurch to Dunedin and quickly found what we were looking for. Many thanks for placing and maintaining the cache and best wishes from Frankfurt am Main.TFTCFBBHaegar
I'm working on some latitude minutes challenge caches and the first two of this series are at minutes I needed so first was this one which was a quick find, then off down the gravel road to the next. Thanks for the cache!
I'm down from Paihia for the Dunedin Mega event. We did a lot of caching around there. Then we went down to Invercargill for three days before driving to Middlemarch for the old Donovan cache. Today is our last geocaching day as we head back to Christchurch. I'm spending the weekend there with my cousin before flying home on Sunday. We did a bit of a back track here for a few caches. I picked this up as we were heading right past it for my buddy to avenge a dnf on the Shrek series. A fast find, thanks for the cache
We travelled up this way to locate the very old virtual at Seacliff which we did. We located several other caches around the area before lunching at Blue skin garden centre.we came down to Dunedin for the Mega event and stayed for 6 days visiting many of the city cache as well as travelling out of the city to Karitane and to Mosgeil . We took nothing and left nothing . Thank you for this cache .
Quick and easy. All good here. In Dunedin for Mega. Out with gdkja for an early start to the weekend. TFTC
Traveling today from Oamaru to Dunedin (to attend the Mega this weekend) and doing caches along the way. Stopped to find this cache which was found and log signed. TFTC
I am in Dunedin early to attend the Mega next weekend so naturally Im after caches in the meantime. This cache was found in good condition. Thank you for placing it and maintaining it for our enjoyment.

No evils found, although the Shrek puzzles were a bit evil as far as getting the bonus info...
Found this one quickly after a good feed at McD's in Dunners

Ambling around the area for a short spell this afternoon; I decided to return via this dirt road to collect a cache or 2.
Thanks for this cache, Heafudd. That's it for today.

An impromptu shopping trip to Palmerston seen several caches plotted on the main road. Unbeknown to the copilot (me) a detour was thrown into the trip and aside from some car sickness lol this one got missed. Return journey seen the dry cache picked up. So noice to find larger caches in the wilds that aren't leaky pillcans or rusty mint tins. Popped in some swag and a gel pac. Had a pencil on hand but there was one in place as well; another surprise that was too. TFTC Heafudd
Good to have the context of this road. Log was nice and dry, even after all that rain. TFTC.
On a return roadie up to Oamaru, picking up targetted (and other) caches along the way. Quick park and grab homeward bound tftc
Awesome quick stop and find in way too a destination. Soooo windy nearly blew us away lol! Thank you ️
Last one in the series for me. Not sure why I didn’t get it a few months ago when I did the rest of them.
Quickly found. Tftc

Another quick find in the dark as we were driving past last night. TFTC [^]
We are heading home from Palmerston early but time for this series. Found No Evil here today. Tagged this one. Cheers
Its Anzac Day 25 April and we have an event at Palmerston. So its a day in Palmerston today with a walk up Puketau in the mix.
Its another awesome geoventure to Dunedin, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack, Jill and William all along for the trip. Had a wonderful 10 days exploring Dunedin. It was great catching up with local cachers at several events we attended. Lots of walking and driving, with the odd cycle and wave ride to jazz things up. Thanks to all the COs that made this trip a wonderful success. Even managed to bag some lab caches along with wherigos, earth caches and events, with the usual mix taking us to some amazing places..

Nice idea for a series. I must admit though, on seeing the road name, that I thought of Cornelius, Dr Zaius, Zira, and so on. Maybe even add the Librarian to the mix.
Anyway, we decided to head down this road on the way back to Dunedin.
Taybeedragon and I have an eleven day Easter weekend in Dunedin. Although, let's face it, given that we are from Blenheim and Picton that means two of those days was spent in travelling. In that time we grabbed a smidge over three hundred caches. Not bad, considering the amount of time spent way out on the back roads, on bicycles or canoeing on the water. A few virtuals, larges, letterboxes, earths, wherigos, and even ten lab caches in the haul. An awesome weekend!

A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 13 Dunedin to Herbert Forest 25 caches. All targets have been met.
Thinking of Christchurch for the events of yesterday. Thank you for the placement

Greetings from Melbourne. Nyochi and i are travelling around the southern end of the south island and today we head from Dunedin to Oamaru. Via some caches. Tftc.
I've driven past this road countless times. At last I had a reason to stop. Quick find. TFTC
I lived less than an hour away for many years and today was the first time coming to this area. Beautiful views for a large part of this road.
A quick find on journey south from Oamaru to Invercargill. I enjoy driving over the northern motorway, so was disappointed to turn off towards the sea after Waikouaiti. Karitane though, didn't disappoint, a lovely wee seaside town, which i had more time to explore. As it turned out, by the time we came over Apes road an hour or so later, we only missed 2km of SH1 and i got to enjoy the motorway after all.
As well as the cache being smaller than I expected, it wasn't where I thought it would be; one hint object out according to my GPSr. I wasn't delayed for long though and I was soon completing the paperwork. Thanks, Heafudd, for an enjoyable series of caches.
I’m here for a week from Australia doing the great Southern scenic Trail. So far I have spent time in Queenstown, Te Anau, Bluff, Stuart Island Invercargill and Dunedin. Met the lovely locals in Airbnb’s. Today I’m heading to Timaru grabbing some caches along the way. Gorgeous scenery along the drive, thanks for this cache. I found a toothbrush holder not a sistema and it was waterlogged and the log book was also wet as the snap lock bag was ripped so I have added a fresh logbook and snaplock but I think a better water tight container is needed.
I drove up from Dunedin to to Oamaru today on my way to attend the weekend's Geofest Event. I ventured off the main highway a number of times to explore the country byways. There was of course the odd cache to find along the way as well. All in all a very pleasant trip with some interesting places and great views along the way. Cheers and TFTC

Came down from Te Puke to visit the whanau and decided to do a bit of caching with 7 kids. TFTC
Quick park and grab. Log was soaked, couldn't sign. Tippped out the water, had no spare logs today so couldn't replace. TFTC
On my way down to watch the Highlanders v Lions and took a couple of days off either side to cache my way down and back. Quick easy find on this one but she's a bit wet.
A quick park and grab but the cache was very wet. I couldn't leave a log. Hope the pic is all good.
Notebook a bit wet. I'd found the cache and had just returned to the car when 3 carloads of people pulled up. I decided to sit there an see what they were up to. All these kid piled out of the car, and with their mums / grand parents went for a walk up the road. No idea why...I'm on a 5 day caching trip in the south island. Have a few aims - right now its to up a few specific caches that I need to complete my grid for a challenge - and find some interesting caches on the way 1800km later I can say I've accomplished my aim!

Begins our holiday in NZ in Christchurch, we came from Italy to find our son who lives there for two years.
Today we decided on a multi-day tour, after stopping at Omarama today continues to Dunedin, scenic road we will stop on the lakes that meet
Here we are in Dunedin, waits here for historical cache us that in Italy there are no thanks for posing and maintenance
Dunedin is a special city for geocaching
And after the historic hunting the last two days we decide today for a quiet day
Greetings from Italy
