The coordinates were indeed out by at least 40 m out but still the hint was correct and there are only a couple of possible places. Of course, we went to the wrong one first then we tried the one near where we parked the car. Easy find then.

Coords were a bit out as per the previous finder's log, but we managed to figure it out.
THanks for the detour

I didn't manage to find this one 2 years ago and now I know why: the given coordinates are out by quite a bit, but fortunately the CO posted the correct co-ordinates in a note a while ago, and those (S45.38.736 E170.37.943) are perfect. SL at last. TFTC.
The wife found this while I used the compass to find the location, co-ordinates some 50mtrs out
Third in the series for me. Quick find - wanted someone to do a hidey-hole like this, so TFTC!
We are heading home from Palmerston early but time for this series. Another one snagged and tagged along this road. Cheers
Its Anzac Day 25 April and we have an event at Palmerston. So its a day in Palmerston today with a walk up Puketau in the mix.
Its another awesome geoventure to Dunedin, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack, Jill and William all along for the trip. Had a wonderful 10 days exploring Dunedin. It was great catching up with local cachers at several events we attended. Lots of walking and driving, with the odd cycle and wave ride to jazz things up. Thanks to all the COs that made this trip a wonderful success. Even managed to bag some lab caches along with wherigos, earth caches and events, with the usual mix taking us to some amazing places..

My notebook says someone did a cool hide here. Obviously a reference to doing no evil, but aside from that I have no idea what it is I am going on about!
Big holes in the fence, dad is watching over the kids while they poke their heads through to reach the greener grass (photo).
Taybeedragon and I have an eleven day Easter weekend in Dunedin. Although, let's face it, given that we are from Blenheim and Picton that means two of those days was spent in travelling. In that time we grabbed a smidge over three hundred caches. Not bad, considering the amount of time spent way out on the back roads, on bicycles or canoeing on the water. A few virtuals, larges, letterboxes, earths, wherigos, and even ten lab caches in the haul. An awesome weekend!

Taking Mrs D Senior for a drive on a sunny afternoon - which is an excellent excuse to get the remaining monkeys on Apes Road off my back. No obvious place to put a cache here...? certainly don't want to jump into the ditch...? Oh, there it is!
Heading down to dunnas for the weekend to "cache up" with KJR making time to grab a few I would usually drive past ..quick find tftc
Not sure why I didn't get this last time but no problem today good to finish of this road

Scrambled down for a nice quick find here. Thanks for the non evil hide. TFTC # 12,440
Got to GZ around midday and noticed a farmer in his truck in the paddock nearby listening to music. It would have been a nice viewpoint at lunchtime.
A quick find, nicely located. I sung away to the farmers music as i signed log. I, unfortunately put thumb through the lid, luckily i had a spare in the car which i replaced. Logging find later on, i noticed a cattle yard in the shape of the geocaching symbol near by...
This one turned out to be more tricky than I was expecting. I didn't see it on the first pass and I was beginning to wonder if it had rolled/blown/washed/jumped into the vegetation below. However, I spotted the cache when I checked the hint object more carefully second time around.
I drove up from Dunedin to to Oamaru today on my way to attend the weekend's Geofest Event. I ventured off the main highway a number of times to explore the country byways. There was of course the odd cache to find along the way as well. All in all a very pleasant trip with some interesting places and great views along the way. Cheers and TFTC

A quick find today while travelling around the area picking up a few. TFTC [^]
Perched ever so carefully on the log to have a look around for the cache. luckily I spotted it before I overbalanced
I'm on a 5 day caching trip in the south island. Have a few aims - right now its to up a few specific caches that I need to complete my grid for a challenge - and find some interesting caches on the way 1800km later I can say I've accomplished my aim!

After a museum visit in the morning and lunch, it was time for a drive. It was raining on and off at our campsite but dry on this scenic country drive. Thanks for placing your geocaches in such a nice spot.
We have a goal of finding 500 caches by the end of the year and we are close but we still have a ways to go so we decided we better get out and get a few today! Luckily the weather stayed fine while we collected up a few more smilies.

Cache was there and was an easy find. So a quick sign and off to the next one. TFTC
Enjoying a great trip with tmann421 collecting caches along the way and getting to see some remote locations.

Weirdly, we found two caches here - both at the same spot about 30cm from each other!!
After attending dawn service decided as it was looking to be a good day to go for a short caching park and grab loop.
Cache and log in good condition

Parked in the drive at top of hill then saw there was one closer. My physio won't be happy said to keep off the hills.
Is there any better way to spend a balmy Easter Monday than tackling a few caches on Otagos coast?? T4TC!
Hevic and I spent the day exploring the northern part of Otago. Cache #14 of 23 ended up being a race, as Hevic and I are wont to do. Though she beat me to GZ I managed to find the cache, nearly twisting my ankle on the way - lucky I have a partner in crime. Cheers!
Today, I was heading down towards Dunedin and - like on the previous days - wanted to find some caches along the way.
The virtual at Seacliff hospital sounded interesting and thus I did the 'Ape series' along the way. Having found the last remaining APE-cache in Brazil two years ago I thought this little trail sounded suitable.
I found all caches, twice I had to search for the a little bit longer.
TFTC!

I am a goog boy I am. I am a good boy I am. NAH! No matter how many times I say it, it is not true.
Cheers for the cache.

The plan was hatched a few years ago now and it has been a standing weekend away with a few of us mad keen cachers. This trip was made up of Karma Reprint, Team_Gaters and me (TheWanglers). We couldn't use a previous anagram to sign the logs as one member was in Aussie. So we had to come up with another... Hmm, KiTT? We decided on KiTT but after signing the first few logs something KR mentioned took a while for me to sink in and I didn't really take on board until the next time I signed the log. "Hey, the double 'TT' looks like Pi!". Oh, that's what KR said! So we signed the log this trip as KaTT pronounced 'Kapai'! And the trip was kapai!!! We had an epic weekend starting with a detour to Peel Forrest for a few FTFs, stopped in Omaru, thrashed Dunedin and detoured to Port Charmers for a FTF and then back to Pleasant Point and Peel Forrest to finish off the weekend with more FTFs. We got home to our families at a respectable hour after clocking up just over 1100km!
We had a few milestones we really wanted to crack. My 4000th, TG's 5000th and KR's 10,000th. We cracked my and KR's goal and got really close for TG. It really is about the numbers. This trip was awesome as it has given me some ideas
We were heading back to Chch and stopped by on a few before Oamaru. Quick find
Thanks for the cache.

Show weekend and a Road Trip to Dunedin with 'The Boys'....Karma Reprint & TheWanglers. Initially came up with the acronym KiTT but on seeing the TT looked like a Pi symbol we quickly changed to Ka(Pi) (ie. Kapai)....and a fantastic weekend it was. 3 days, 1100km, a heap of caches and great fun.
Sunday morning and heading back to CHCH via a wee detour. Quick find and sign along a quiet wee road. Cheers.
