Well, this host took me back to my childhood. Dad was an avid photographer who converted all his photos to slides. So I have boxes of these containers filled with slides at home. Anyway, log was found, signed, and returned. Tftc
We decoded to come up to seacliff the very old virtual and tocollect a few other caches ateound the area while at the same time bring sister up to top of Coast road so she could run back to Blue skin garden centre where we would meet for lunch . We took nothing and left nothing here and all was well with the cache . Thank you for this cache out this way .
All good. Quick find after missing last one. In Dunedin for Mega. Out with gdkja for an earlystart to the weekend. TFTC
Day 9 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc. We spent the night in Oamaru so we can visit Steampunk HQ today. After we left Oamaru we headed to Dunedin and collected a couple of caches along the way. Thanks for contributing to the fun Heafudd

That is funny with the pronunciation of the surname, it make me think of the Bucket Residence, Lady of the house speaking...
Saw the cache lid on approach so a nice easy and quick find here!

So good to finally turn my blue face from two years ago to a yellow smiley place. No problem finding it this time. All nice and dry inside. TFTC.
Think this cache needs attention. Three of us spent some time looking, but couldn't find it.
Hmm, a 1 diff cache. We spent 5 mins looking and after noticing andy.gail's log, we pulled the plug.
Had a decent look, but no joy. Lots more caches to find today, so we called it quits.
Second in the series for me. Quick find, more exposed than I expected. Must be a quiet road. TFTC
We are heading home from Palmerston early but time for this series. Seeing no evil today. Quick easy find here. Cheers
Its Anzac Day 25 April and we have an event at Palmerston. So its a day in Palmerston today with a walk up Puketau in the mix.
Its another awesome geoventure to Dunedin, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack, Jill and William all along for the trip. Had a wonderful 10 days exploring Dunedin. It was great catching up with local cachers at several events we attended. Lots of walking and driving, with the odd cycle and wave ride to jazz things up. Thanks to all the COs that made this trip a wonderful success. Even managed to bag some lab caches along with wherigos, earth caches and events, with the usual mix taking us to some amazing places..

The cache has to be... *there!* And it was. Heading back to Dunedin after a tour around Palmerston.
Taybeedragon and I have an eleven day Easter weekend in Dunedin. Although, let's face it, given that we are from Blenheim and Picton that means two of those days was spent in travelling. In that time we grabbed a smidge over three hundred caches. Not bad, considering the amount of time spent way out on the back roads, on bicycles or canoeing on the water. A few virtuals, larges, letterboxes, earths, wherigos, and even ten lab caches in the haul. An awesome weekend!

Taking Mrs D Senior for a drive on a sunny afternoon - which is an excellent excuse to get the remaining monkeys on Apes Road off my back. Beautiful sea views here as promised - the Old Man and Old Woman rocks at Karitane stand out from this direction. Some water in the cache container - these gladware containers are never waterproof- but the logbook is dry in its new bag.
I Seen it pretty quickly, and i Seen plenty water inside, log was dry though. Thanks.
No problem here; the cache was exactly where my GPSr said it would be. Before moving along to the next cache stop, I took a moment or two to admire the impressive view.
Woke up in my stone cottage Airbnb in Ocean Grove to find that it had yet again rained overnight. But the dawn was crisp and clear so another day to look forward to with dry shoes and socks. If it carries on like this, I would have packed extra shoes and my wet weather gear for nothing. But I’m not complaining, I’m utterly sick of all the rain we have had over winter in the Manawatu.
Heading from Dunedin through the Pig Root to Alexandra for the day. Very excited, I did spend a lot of time driving this route when I lived in Oamaru and it is one of my favourite parts of the country.
Another quick find here and I’m back in the car to head to the next one. TFTC

I drove up from Dunedin to to Oamaru today on my way to attend the weekend's Geofest Event. I ventured off the main highway a number of times to explore the country byways. There was of course the odd cache to find along the way as well. All in all a very pleasant trip with some interesting places and great views along the way. Cheers and TFTC

Breathed a sigh of relief when this one proved so much faster than the last one!
I'm on a 5 day caching trip in the south island. Have a few aims - right now its to up a few specific caches that I need to complete my grid for a challenge - and find some interesting caches on the way 1800km later I can say I've accomplished my aim!

After a museum visit in the morning and lunch, it was time for a drive. It was raining on and off at our campsite but dry on this scenic country drive. Thanks for placing your geocaches in such a nice spot.
We have a goal of finding 500 caches by the end of the year and we are close but we still have a ways to go so we decided we better get out and get a few today! Luckily the weather stayed fine while we collected up a few more smilies.
Nice view
