Beautiful Place for a nice walk with your dog and family. So peaceful and pretty during Winter. (The place, not the cache). We had some trouble finding it but eventually got it. TFTC
My father has moved into the area - in fact only 200m away. A nice stroll along the creek but had to cross it to access the cache. Found with shonkysmurf.
Needed to get the geokids out of the house as cabin fever had set in for the school holidays.... Located the GZ of this cache but found ourselves on the wrong side of the river.... The kids quickly decided they would brave the creek and they soon had cache in hand.... TFTC
As is more often I am the wrong side of the creek. Managed a careful creek crossing and soon located the cache.

Spent some time on the wrong side of the creek to begin but once I worked that out I found it quickly. Lovely spot
Once we realized we had to cross the creek and the tree trunks were vertical geo girl 10 found !
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Cache for the day turned out to be this one as it was a small detour on the way into work and with Clipsal road closures still in force alternate ways into the office were required. Parked in the nearby side street and made the short trek to GZ which turned out to be on the other side of the creek. Luckily the overnight rains had not started the creek flowing so an easy crossing was made and the subsequent find made fairly quickly. Retrieved cache, signed log and replaced. Covered with a little more natural camo as it was a little exposed. Gratias Pro Cache Peevee1
Found with Vj187. Took a while to find on a hot day. Eventually found the correct tree trunk. TFTC
Came back here for a second attempt today. The hint was very useful. GPS was telling me to do to the West side of the creek, so I disregarded the numbers and hung around the trees and found the cache after a few minutes.
Find 2295
Found after the cross country event was completed by the children from the nearby school sport day.
Thanks to Peevee1 for the cache.

After a bit of a drive around (TomTom had us on the wrong side of the creek again) [:o)], it was a short walk through the wet grass to the cache [8].
A bit cool for people to be out this morning . TNLNSL.
Thanks Peevee1.

Found by fairyduster 3. Kids enjoyed jumping the creek for a scrounge. TFTC SL took nothing left dog and fairydust.
Found during a foray into the north-eastern suburbs for the day. Thanks for the cache Peevee1!
easy find in the cover of night. No barking dog and because the moon was bright only needed torches to spot the cache and sign the log. Thanks Peevee1
European Wasp's nest on western side, close by be careful - best in ground!
Such a nice area for a mid-morning walk :c) Picked up a few caches before heading home to get organised for QLD Mega. TFTC!!

Today is the day of the SAGA awards 2014 and so earthlight, Brodie and I headed out to cache beforehand and then enjoy the fun at the awards.
We even managed to wash Brodie in between all of this [^]
By day's end, I had 13 and one event attendance
Brodie loved the walk in the park and although we were on the wrong side of the creek, the agile earthlight scrambled over and made the find

Taking the dog for a walk along the trail and ppicking up caches along the way
Once on right side of Creek was easy to locate. Great hide and lots of fun with the little ones
Found at 1205hrs after finding ourselves on the wrong side of the creek. So after a scramble down and back up the other side we soon had the cache in hand. Easy find, tftc
Found ourselves on the wrong side of the creek. Luckily it was dry despite the rain yesterday and Mrs TiedyeSmileys could cross the creek for the quick find.

Owl and CPwanderer approached the cache from the wrong side of the creek, but a quick scramble netted CP the cache before Owl was even across the (dry) creek bed.
Naturally natural.

We saw the 3 trunks then the cache. A-lar-Oh-naturale.
Clear skies to Peevee1 from TeamAstro.
Thankfully no water here today as we found ourselves on the wrong
side of the creek. Easy find after the crossing.

Darknstormy and i were eager to get out the house and get some local caches
This one took us a bit as the GPS was misbehaving and wouldn't settle on a spot, eventually it was found in the last place we thought to look
Thanks for the cache Peevee1

Furrangel and i decided to get our of the house and do a few caches.
We walked around for quite some time looking for this one.. as the coords were pointing us to an area with nothing?? we sat there and read some logs... Really I couldn't be there... and quick look and there it was.. Summertime cache me thinks :p

The hint was a life saver here today. Tree cover had the GPS a little out. Found soon after crossing the creek. What an atypical Peevee container. [:o] TFTC
The hint didn't help me at all to-day as I interpreted it completely wrongly! My fault......the brain was in the wrong gear! Still, got there eventually! Thanks Peevee1
We attempted this last weekend in the twilight and after a good 15 minutes of searching, we came up empty. We came back today and surprisingly, we had a good GPSr lock which pointed us to a completely different area that we searched the last time (about 20 metres away). Unfortunately, even the new spot had us on the wrong side of the creek , but after we expanded the search area and crossed the currently dry creek bed, we soon had the cache in had. TNLNSL TFTC
Didn't take too long this time
Don't know how I missed it last time.
An off day...
Thanks for the cache.

FTF @ the new and improved location. It's a lovely area to walk around here but I only had one thing in mind this evening. Thanks Peevee1 for my extended adventure.
Thank you Peevee1 for moving this cache, i am uploading a photo from the old GZ to clearly show that the school is in clear view, i would not recommend advising someone to hide in the bushes to avoid being seen as i reckon the authorities would be there before you leave, i do not make the rules but the rules are that a cache is not to be within view from a school, i have had some rejected as they were to close and currently in the process of moving one of mine as there is a school way of in the distance, i am putting this photo up as everyone thinks i am the bad guy for pointing out the rules.

With a bit of hoo-ha going on with this cache I thought that I better go and grab this cache. I couldn't see much of a problem here except that I couldn't find it. I have since discovered that it has moved. I will drive past tonight and see if I can be FTF in the new location. Thanks Peevee1.
I have read the previous log requesting this cache be archived. This is a ridiculous request as you can get this cache from the side which is out of view, not only that you can come back outside of school hours and claim this cache. Let's not be pedantic it's all about have a bit of fun.

After claiming the FTF on the other local cache we arrived here to claim the Official FTF on this cache.
It is not within the spirit of the game to have your mate with you when you hide it and then they claim the FTF, either be a beta tester or wait until gold, silver and bronze has gone and then find the cache.
while we were at the cache site we were being watched by all the kids from the school on the other side of the col de sac and as this in plain sight of a school a archive request is going to be placed on this cache.

I wanna be 100% honest here... this whole beta testing thing annoys me when not done right...
Someone that beta tests should be doing multipul tests meaning coming from different angles ect ect to make sure their GPS ends them up in the same spot.. and to confirm the coords are correct.
But... at the end of the day... satellites are in differents spots every min of the day.. so no ones coords will be perfect... .. so a tester should be testing it maybe 3 times at different intervals... walking up and grabbing the cache going wooohoo found it.. isn't the way...
I've never ever claimed or told someone to claim one of my caches as a tester... just be honest and get them to right their name in the log as you place the cache and write "Not FTF".. or just find it after the prizes have been claimed...
Stop adding red tape to a fun activity... it is a game at the end of the day.. and accually finding the cache your self at anytime of its life is the whole point of the game!
Peace out!

3LG and I are claiming this as a joint *FTF*
With all due respect, a FTF should be claimed if you are the first (or joint first) to find the cache and sign the log for a cache that you have zero knowledge about.
I have beta-tested Bacon8100's caches for him and know exactly where they are - but when the notification comes through I don't jump in the car and claim a FTF - I usually wait days or weeks before claiming a find.
Just my $0.02 of course.
