We had constant problems with tides and dangerous objects (syringes)left at the cache
Hi there pinkmundi.
This is the 1st of 2 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 10:44:00 AM, but we just couldn't locate your cache. It's either not there, a very clever hide or we are just suffering from "cache blindness", so here's a DNF from us.
Regards
Ian and Penny

This cache has been disabled. We have had constant trouble with tides and cache being removed. This may be replaced with another cache in the area in the future.
I've come out a few times for this one and had no luck. Where I think it is the place is trashed, there's even a syringe stuffed into the cog of the winch so please be careful. I contacted the council and they assured me it would be removed, but months later it is still there. Of the cache owner would like to contact me and let me know where it is I would be more than happy to let you know if it's trashed or if I'm just hopeless and can't find it lol. GPS seems to jump around a bit in that location.
I have an idea of where the cache is but I am too short to reach it. Will have to come back with a step to take a closer look.
Warning this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Excellent cache.

After being at Crystal Brook for a BBQ for Easter and to Say Happy Birthday to our future Son in Law Morgan. We found this one while cleaning up a few caches in the area, Had a Great Day with Goddaughter Nicole. So quick find TFTC
While staying in Wallaroo we headed towards Port Pirie in the hope of getting an FTF. We were lucky enough to be successful with that and decided to continue caching around the area
On arrival at GZ we found the cache and signed the log then boiled the billy for a cuppa and morning tea while enjoying this nice aquatic spot
One car and trailer parked at GZ....hope they had a successful day on the water
Many thanks for the hide Sadiesmate and pinkmundi[^]

A nice quick find today with the replacement in place. Very quiet today also. Perhaps people still in bed from nye celebrations. Tftc
A nice quick find. Some rocks may have got wet in the finding of this cache . Thanks
Seeing this one had been replaced, a quiet morning after NYE celebrations found this cache muggle free today. A quick find (thanks TWDG for replacing) a beautiful morning, calm creek, little fish swimming and a few skimming rocks found and tested. Shelley beach near the mouth of the creek is worth a visit/picnic for any boatyard/kayaker interested in a look. TFTC

Drove all the way out here to grab this one but with people fishing on the jetty made hunting impossible. Sent Stavros08 to talk to them as I had a quick look but with no luck. We will return....
Been here a number times over the years, a great spot. Discovered a burn't out ford ute, Felt sorry for the person that own it, not much left. This was a good spot to fish, but now I believe it's part of the Marine Park Sanctuary Zone. It's a good spot for kayaking. TFTHSL cheers diggers09
Would love to come back here and fish with the kayaks. We will one day, just need lots and lots more weekends! Thanks
This is the second time i've been here and both times for a cache, great location, tftc
Found while on dirtbike ride with Demon41, kept a fisher busy talking while Demon41 signed the log ! great spot, thanks
Our most westerly cache find today before heading toward home .
I suppose if you have children and are visiting Pt Pirie, they'd be asking "Where's the beach [?]"
Well, we don't think there is one - none that we saw today .
An easy find before walking to the end of the jetty and talking the the lone fisherman catching 'shitters' to be used as bait [:o)].
TNLNSL.
Thanks again Sadiesmate.

High tide, drove through some water to get to it. Log slightly damp, still vulnerable to high tide and wave action. TFTC
FTF. Yeeeeeha. Saw 4 lizards and a snake on the drive out but none near the cache. TFTC
the cache container has been replaced.. judging by the high tide tonight and how high it was i'd say the old cache was washed out to sea. new one is at same co'ords slightly new and safer spot
