A lazy day touring around Peterborough and the backstreets admiring a few kangaroos Lizards and Goats on our travles searching for these hidden boxes and the nasty (Blow up the factory) Nano's.All caches were in good condition unless stated otherwise. This one needs some TLC as soon as possible, the lid has gone brittle and has broken. Thanks for the cache DISKFind Number 10822
Very interesting location. We went to the Steamtown light show and saw this tunnel on the big screen. Well worth a visit to the cache and the show. TFTC. TNLN. In good condition.
Another geocaching gem - interesting information and enjoyed looking at the tunnel. Thanks
bunadoorian and I are on a road trip from Broken Hill today picking up caches in new LGA's for a challenge cache in SA. This was our 4th find today. I enjoyed the view of the Tunnel. TFTC and for bringing us here - DISK.
Literally a driveby as Bear049 dropped me off and luckily the long legs got me over the barricade. A quick find and jump back in the vehicle. Not a good spot to park with all the school holiday traffic so we didn't get an opportunity to investigate the tunnel but it was worth the quick visit. Cheers
Pick up Detofinbars mid morning for a days geocaching around nearby towns of Terowie, Peterborough, Black Rock, Orroroo and Booleroo Centre with other caches in between. Taking in a lot of different scenery and magnificent views that would not happen otherwise if there wasnt a cache to look for. All caches in good condition unless indicated otherwise in log. TFTC
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. Based in Peterborough, we are exploring some of the surrounding countryside today. That is an interesting story and location. Thanks DISK.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Thanks for the hide DISK.
Decided to do just one more for the day, thanks DISK for bringing us here and maintaining this cache tftc
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
We were heading to Yunta and found this on the way.
Huge tunnel too and worth stopping to look at.
Thanks DISK

Parked at bottom of hill east bound and walked back through tunnel, although the cache is not down there. Learnt a lot of rail history at Peterborough so this stop was interesting.
Thanks
Thanks
On our travels we stopped to grab a couple of caches and are sure glad this was one of them, after we found the cache and signed the log we took the time to park at the bottom and walk back and through the tunnel. Thanks for placing this interesting and informative cache
Have been past this tunnel many times and today stopped to venture down for a closer look and to grab a cache.

First cache that I have tried to find. Thankyou for providing the thrill of discovery. Easy enough to find, now on to the next one.
We have been travelling around this great country, calling into see many different places,
now is a quick chance on the computer to catch up with logs and to put some smileys on the map for where we have been.
Thanks to all the COs for some great finds.

Interesting history in this area, love the farming and trains.
Left the trackable that was in there for someone else to move on to somewhere more interesting

Being keen railway fans, we ventured out to Terowie this afternoon to have a look around what remains of the massive infrastructure that once existed here. We then returned by a different road to see this old tunnel! Thanks for the hide DISK.
What an interesting spot overlooking tunnel. Took TB. Another headwind day on the bikes.
A quick pull over to find this one. Cache and contents are all good
Today I headed from Adelaide up north caching my way along from cache to cache and found myself in Peterborough for the evening. Stopped at Clare and Burra along the way as well as doing a few lab caches. Roughly 80 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

I got a bit wayward as I lost service but luckily Tweety2 lead a nice straight line & the cache was soon in hand. A well constructed tunnel. TFTC!
Hot, windy, and dust storms...
great day to go caching!
What a great spot. So many would zoom past without seeing the tunnel at all!

TFTC nice find quick drive by with picture res views and the history that goes with it thankyou for bringing us to this location
Watched the Indian Pacific come through Peterborough then we drove out to pick up this cache with hinosaur. Would have made a great site coming through the tunnel in the day.
Actually found this one today, accidentally logged last time so thought I’d better pop out and find it. No creepy crawly as per my last post this one was free of any bug, too car is that’s it!! TFTC
Found it however pulse for rather fast post the discovery of a room mate. As a result of my eviction tactics not working on the 8 legged furry friend I have moved the cache to the other side of the rock and it could return when vacated by current tenant. TFTC
Intrigued by the name of this cache, we pulled over and checked it out. Very strange to see such a structure going to waste.
Found the cache quite quickly, but despite being rather put off by the decaying smell of a very close by kangaroo, will give the cache a FP because of the location.
Thanks for the cache DISK and for showing us this spot that we would have just driven by without seeing.

Interesting stop - so much effort put into building this, beautiful stonework portals included - and then it is abandoned. TFTC
A nice piece of history thanks, and a place that would have remained unnoticed if not for the cache. A great chance for a pit stop break. All is well with the cache!
I was travelling from Broken Hill to Port Augusta, targetting caches at reasonable intervals to break the journey. I almost missed stopping for this one. I certainly wouldn't have known about it were it not for caching. Nice quick find, and a quick check out of the tunnel.
My thanks to DISK for the cache and showing me this piece of history.

Found by Mary & David at 1250. Well hello! we're both well and are en route from the recent QOGM Event to the WAGB Event. A while since we saw you or your disc sticker. Great stonework around the entrance. Our thanks to DISK.
The second cache attempted today but the first found. Nothing worse than a DNF to start a caching day but when you're tackling a nano on a train you don't expect much else.
At least this was a nice quick find at an interesting spot.
Thanks.

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Moving day today, travelling from Broken Hill to Peterborough. Awaking to windy, drizzly, did I mention windy day! We managed to stop and find this cache and a few others, although we often had to walk approx 200mts as we had the 24ft caravan on tow.
Soo cold after 2 years in NT or QLD this winter in SA is going to turn us into Ice Blocks. 40km/hr Head winds all the way aso our fuel economy sucked.! Max temp was 12degrees but wind chill was only 9degrees.
