It appears that this cache has been muggled

I too had an unsuccessful attempt to find this cache.

The CO needs to check this is still in place.

I am watching this cache. As the last 3 DNFer have very few finds I am going to wait until someone with more experience looks for it. Try looking under things...

My first ever search so maybe I didn't look hard enough. Just found lots of filthy unmentionable rubbish. Couldn't wait to get home and wash my hands!

A quick easy find with JuJu54. The cache was lying in the open in full view, so we replaced it in keeping with the hint. TFTC

I had family friends who had a really nice house further at Banks Ave many years ago and that's gone...I thought the cache was gone too but I found it hiding under a pile of cachers camo. It's in really good condition too so it obviously isn't affected by rain. I like the cache title and its secluded so I left a travel bug from North Wales here to hide out and attract the next cacher. Took me a good few minutes to find as it was really well hidden! I used to often walk along this street but haven't been here for a while so it was nice to come back. Plenty of building work going on at the moment, the street was full of builders, painters, plasterers and concrete layers all coming and going. TFTC!

It was a long and busy day, and just to top it all off, I was sick.. grrr. So although I was planning on getting the cache for the day earlier, that didn't end up hapenning, as I thought a nap was more important.

Then, we went out to dinner to a friends, and now the last opportunity to get a cache before bedtime! On the way home!!
This looked good, reasonable, and was what I decided for.

But this cache was actually more tricky than I thought it would be! Very hard to find in the dark!! Saw the letterboxes over the stream... but no more bridge! Sad and eerie place...

In the end I spied the cache though peeking through greenery... sweet!!!

Quick find while passing through.

A warm evening so it's a good time to go to mount the 2 wheeled steed and go ahunting. It's a melancholy ride past all the devastation and lost homesteads. A quick find. Thanks.

Found while out on an evening walk. Last time I'd been through this area there were still houses, now it's all just sections. Located cache after a wee bit of looking.

Westland Anniversary on Monday meant a 3 day weekend to ChCh. A nice quick park and grab here, literally. We parked so close that if we had longer arms we couldve reach it while sitting in the car. Thanks for the cache

Out and about on a nights caching adventure.....let the autorouting gps get me here from 'Petri Pursuit'....took me along a rather bumping wee road. Gosh. Bit of damage wot. Nice wee spot. Managed park almost at arms length form the cache. Nice one, cheers.

Sorry, I took a while to log this cache. It was a perfect day for caching, it was bucketing down, so there were no muggles around.

Somehow we made hard work of this one! We had been looking for a while when the rain started to pelt down and we were thinking of dashing back to the car when cfahey1 nearly stepped on it. TFTC

Oh, I haven't been this way since the wobbles. My mate used to live on River Road and we'd come down this way after school. Our family friends used to own a great big place on Banks Ave. It's poked! I parked near GZ and made a quick find. I can't believe the carnage here and especially along the Avon River with it's new gravel stop bank. Love the Beastie Boys!!!

Previous attempts to get his one have been foiled by road works or too many muggles. Decided to get it on the way to work today, knowing I'd have to wait till the nearby school started. As soon as all kids (& parents) were out of sight I quickly located the cache. Took GC. TFTC.

5399. A quick and easy find with Genevieve (2) after a 7km walk with the church walking group. Plenty of roadworks in the area so had to park some distance away and walk in. Thanks for helping us with our longest streak. Rodney and Iris and Genevieve.

Had plunket visit nearby with #1 turning 2 soon and #2 at 5 months (Both doing well) and walked down the closed road to collect a smiley. Not sure about the previous logger who must have watch issues as they dated logbook 9/9/19! Such a sad area these properties were worth mega bucks prior to the quakes not sure about value now although it looks like it is still popular. Thanks for the hide.

Memory lane, I used to work at Wodchester hospital which is no longer there tftc

Was awake when this notification came out, and I considered getting up for a minute or two, and was going to flag the FTF when two more notifications came through for some nearby caches. Decided to get up then, as I was bound to get at least one FTF

Got to GZ quickly, after a careful drive through the banged up streets... GZ was deserted..hmmm...someone been and gone already?

Found cache quickly, and was greeted with a blank log My first FTF of 3 this morning

I tried to log the cache found as a courtesy to other FTF'ers who may be racing here, but log didn't go through. Finally managed to log 2 hours later.

3TF, after a short walk in. Had a bit of difficulty in that all the roads I attempted to use suddenly became closed and I had to detour. Found the cache fairly quickly, signed and left the area.
