Did not Find with LittleBoss2 and Chunchi n Chachi while here in Qland. It's clear from the spoiler photo that this one's gone. There is one fence cap missing and all the rest didn't contain the prize. Will definitely need checking if you're still active Wesso family

We’re back on the Sunshine Coast for a few weeks.

OCW with PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa.

This one is close to where we’re staying so stopped in today. The gallery image told me where to look but with one missing (the critical one) I left empty handed.

Spending a couple of nights at Cooroy, caching in the Sunshine Coast area. Spectacular coastal views or mountain views from most areas that we travelled. Throw in a couple of ALs plus a few caches & its made for an enjoyable stay in your area.
The cane cutter statue is very good, the plants make it look like he is in a cane field.
Thankyou Wesso Family for placing this cache.

I am working in the area for a couple of days and was excited to see o many caches close to site! It was drizzling as I drove to work this morning, and since it was only around the corner from this cache I thought a quick stop was wise to make sure I had a find for the day in case the weather got worse. The statue in the garden is impressive; I took a photo to show Mr muggle, and then strolled over to gz to make a quick find and add my name to the log. Tftc wesso family Big Grin

A nice quick find on our day out!

Out and about with Frannymfrog, after deciding not to head to the beach today due to the rain, we thought ‘hmm, today would be a good day to do some caching’.

Upon arrival to gz we both started looking, but this time, it was Frannymfrog who got to yell ‘found it!’

TFTC! Found with Frannymfrog logged as 3K!

Out and about with potatochips101... holidaying on the sunny coast. Thought we would venture out today ... In amongst the light showers to add some more souvenirs to our ancient wonders. Parking close by it was a quick walk to GZ ... normally potatochips101 is onto caches quicker than me ... but so far today I got to shout found it! Quick find with potatochips101 Logged as 3K. We remember that in the dark ages the only thing around was the castle.... now it is suburbia with geo caches here. Thanks for placing. SL, TFTC

06-Jun-19
I headed on in to this suburb today,
to find a cache hopefully Big Grin
Close by GZ I found this statue.
A work of art it is [^]

But a sad reminder o when,
this area actually produce food for hungry people Smile
Now the hungry people have gobbled up this beautifully fertile land,
to grow houses on !! Sad

What the 'eck are all these homeowners hoping to eat ??
They have destroyed fertile farmlands in their quest for some less than ideal,
cookie cutter house ??
Utter madness Twisted

One day in the not too distant future,
estates like this will be bulldozed,
to return them to the fertile farmland they once were,
to feed the unsustainable population growth Razz

But for now there was a cache to be found here !!
Which I surprised meself by finding it in under 10 minutes Big Grin

TFTC and the view of suburbia pretending to be an UNESCO Bisosphere nominee Big Grin

12:14:00 PM. Thought we would beat the weather. After a visit to the markets decided on a cache or 2 while the sun was out. Nice and quiet at GZ and a fairly quick find. Log signed and out of there. A pity the vandals couldn't find something constructive to do instead of destroying the fencing. Thanks for the cache Wesso Family

We were having a kid free weekend for our anniversary, after we had had a delicious breakfast we picked up a few caches in Nambour and were now heading towards the coast for the night. We did a quick detour here to find a cache.

We parked the car and headed over towards GZ, it wasn’t too long before we had it and then we thought we would help out the locals and slash some cane…

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us. Wink

Staying a few days in Maroochydore, the plan was to head out to do a full day caching. And yay the plan came together. Alas the mozzie population was out in force and we had to double down on the Bushmans as they were even eating us alive in the car! But..... we did find your cache so all good. Razz

Took my sister and niece ( muggles both) for a wander and let them make their first find using the app on my phone here today. Thanks for placing this one. We did CITO while here. All is well here.

15-Jun-17
Found it! And having arrived at gz after a 500 or so km.drive and a km or two walk ( staying with a friend this weekend) I was a bit over awed at gz." Oh my, this could take a while", was my first thought. But I decided to randomly check some easier options out before starting a truly methodical search. Oh good! Found before I had to order a pizza delivered to gz. On my wander back to the house I played ball with two different pooches in the park. So nice to be included in games when you are new to an area

21-May-17
Upon arrival and looking down, I thought it was going to be a "Where's Waldo" type of hunt, of which I am not too fond. However, it turned out to be much easier than that, thankfully [^]. Thanks for a great hide WF.

This Day in History
Saturday, March 10, 1906. : Over 1060 workers are killed in a coal dust explosion in France. Coal mining has a long history of being a perilous occupation. One of the biggest dangers is that coal dust itself is highly combustible, a problem compounded by the fact that the dust can adhere a centimetre in thickness to surfaces of pillars, walls and equipment in the mines, increasing the combustibility of the mine even further.
The idea that coal dust itself could present a problem met with considerable resistance as industrialisation powered the increasing need for coal in the nineteenth century. There was no way to mine coal without generating coal dust, so the problem was largely ignored. However, mine owners were forced to look at safety and working conditions following one of coal mining's most disastrous explosions, which occurred on 10 March 1906 at Courrieres, Pas-de-Calais, Northern France. A coal dust explosion killed between 1060 and 1099 workers. Following the tragedy, 45,000 went on strike for nearly two months against the appalling working conditions, ending only when the army suppressed the protests.

Daughter #2 (EM) had her choir breakup party at Bli Bli... so rather than drive home we went caching (and the kids played at some parks). This cache was very close by.

After a short search, we came up with the goods... and now, time to post the log to cap off our day.

Well this one was interesting, I approached GZ only to find a young boy deciding this was a great place to use as a toilet, he was on his knees, on the road side just watering the concrete.
I stood back and pretended to play with my phone until he left the area then I took a wide birth of the freshly painted concrete, found the cache, signed the log and replaced it.
