It's gone. The area has changed a lot since I hid this back in 2013. Near 3000 page views and 684 logged finds is a good run for this cache. Thanks everyone for the awesome logs, photos and favourite points.
### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there abl973,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so the cache is being temporarily disable - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond to this enquiry in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers (more's the pity), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
You need to post a note to the page (within 14 days) explaining the situation and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
Be sure to indicate **the actual date that you expect to have it fixed** so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please **post a Write Note log every 4 to 6 weeks,** so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, it's better for you to decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Bunjil

Searched for quite some time and there does not seem to be any evidence of a prize in this location.
Only looked for a few minutes and were unable to locate the cache. Might try again at another time of day
Interesting story of the wheel. Wow, I never knew that! We came here just sightseeing on a Friday afternoon. It was pretty dead here. Hopefully it’s more upbeat at night when people are home from work, or when there are events on. Otherwise I’d say all the Victorian COVID lockdowns have pretty much killed the area. Love all the interesting architecture in the new buildings though. Thanks foe bringing me here, TFTC
**Found with The Empire**
Out and about on a cool but dry Queens Birthday public holiday.
It was great to be back in the CBD. A place I have always enjoyed - the architecture, the cafes, the lane ways. BUT the people - TOO MANY We parked at the docklands and tried out the electric scooters. What a great way to get around - Had a absolute ball on 'em.
A quick find with no muggles around making this the last for the day. Amazing looking up at the wheel which I haven't been on for years. At least I got to do it before it's dismantled. [xx(]
Thanks for the cache abl973 and for highlighting the area. Appreciate your efforts.

*Took*: Nothing
*Left*: Nothing
**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.
Cache on!

It’s not until one gets right beside this wheel that one realises what a large sophisticated engineering project it was, T4TC
Out with my grandson and his friend, on the way to ice-skate, we found this little treasure. Thanks abl973
A day trip to Docklands to go to the movies. To kill some time we went caching.

Hehehe. What a fun description. This icon is still on my bucket list to do TFTC!
Picked this up after a real fun couple of hours at Artvo.
Quick, easy find.

Easy find, didn't even need the hint. Just been to ArtVo - chosen by the kids in preference to being dragged around the art gallery.
I’ve driven past this so many times in the past 12 months and only today took the time to track down. TFTC TAD

Found took my mum out to the melbourme star for an early mothers day bit busy here today
Visiting docklands this evening and going on the Melbourne star, we found the cache after quickly and only a little bit of stealth. Tftc.
Finally found this one after a couple of attempts. Very busy area which makes it a bit difficult to access. Log was full so photo of cache as proof instead! TFTC
We are staying in Melbourne for the night with our grandkids. Caught a train from their home, checked into a serviced apartment on Flinders St and have spent part of the afternoon wandering along the banks of the Yarra and grabbing a cache or two on the way. Meeting up with our son and his two a bit later on to see Peter Rabbit at Crowne, and then we think bedlam as the cousins (9-4 years) get together for FUN!! Just hoping they sleep well tonight so we can be firing again tomorrow.
All four grandkids joined the hunt for this one. We had identified the likely hiding spot fairly quickly, but it took them a while before they finally got there! Not too sure the Wheel is making a fortune today. Crowds everywhere, but not too many going for the ride.
TFTC and for giving the young folk a fun time looking

The ‘tree’ is not the only thing that’s not real around here. Quick find, TFTC!0
Passing through, thought I’d try, and found it. First actual find, as opposed to nearby.
We ventured out to Docklands for the Imaginaria exhibit (everybody should go - it's great!) and were just finishing off post-imagination ice creams when I suddenly realised there were probably caches around which I hadn't found. A quick consult of the map found one 116 m away, so on our way back to the car we stopped off to retrieve this one. The GPS put us in a slightly different spot, but logic said it had to be in this spot and geopartner went searching, but returned empty handed. We searched elsewhere and was about to give up when I thought I'd try logical spot just once more and the cache revealed itself. A quick signing of the logbook and then it was back to the car for afternoon naps at home. Thanks abl973!
Thank you abl973 for your cache, I came into the city for some shopping and thought I 'd do a couple of caches this was my first and it didn't disappoint me. Out of the way but still in the middle of muggle central. Lucky I had a slip of paper to log the find. Thanks again.

Took a bit longer than it should have but found. Log is full so I squeezed in my name at #12. Sorry, I didn’t have any paper to replace the log. Thanks for the cache
This cache of mine is disabled until after the current Covid-19 crisis and restrictions are over.
We headed into the city to spend a few hours exploring, we had to get at least one cache, we had a nice quick find here and performed our signing duties, the log is full so we squeezed it in next to another cacher, before returning the cache safely to it’s hiding spot TFTC
We're over from Adelaide staying in the Docklands for the long weekend. Took Miss 6 on a ride on the Melbourne Star and was pleased to see a cache located close by. Miss 6 was excited to be the one to make the quick find. TFTC
TFTC - loved reading the history of the wheel, since I'm visiting from NSW and the cache itself is great too
A nice quick find. My Costco pizza plate made for a good cover while signing the log given the high muggle area! TFTC
For as long as she’s been able to point at it, she’s been wanting a ride on the big Ferris wheel in Melb, when she was 3.5 we told her Daddy will take her when she is 8, she didn’t forget, one super excited little girl last night
A very quick find but I forgot my pen, rookie mistake!! Logging photo for proof. TFTC
Found by PR&F on 23/1/20 @ 1.15pm
A quick find before heading up to ArtVo.
Geo kid particularly liked the container on this one!

Found in the early morning whilst staying in a hotel nearby. A nice quick and easy find. In good condition but the log is full.
TFTC! Nice place, nice view, and easy to get it. I just would like to inform that the both log book are full. I had to sign it in the top of one of log book.
During our holiday in this beautiful country we walked through Melbourne and came to this place.
Thank you for the Cache.

After our ride on the Melbourne Star we found our first cache in Melbourne:). TftC and greetings from Germany!
