Due to being caught up in Tasmania with travel restrictions, I am not in a position to maintain this at present.
Staying at Coolah for a couple of days to find the caches in this lovely litttle town. We decided to walk around Coolah this morning to find any that could be easily reached on foot. We found six and had only one DNF.
Great variety of containers and hides.

Left Blackall after the QOGM event, heading south for St. Arnaud event next month. Day 47 of our trip. Caching along the way. A total of 8 caches for the day and 1532 for the trip. TFTC
Found on the way to Queensland with aqau, doing the mystery in the museum.
Thanks for the cache

Couldn't find it first attempt and almost gave up on my second attempt but at last the cache was in hand.
This was a quick park & grab, and an opportunity to stretch my legs on a long drive from Orange to Armidale. TFTC!
Day 27 Mainland trip
On the move from Dubbo to Tamworth, travelling with Tassie Trekkers with the geovans in tow. We stopped in Coolah and were rewarded with a cache find. TFTC

Caching on our way to Tamworth, we picked up a few caches with Whitewebbs and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found while out taking an afternoon walk around town we are camped at the recreation reserve and enjoying sightseeing thanks
Travelling from Mudgee to Tamworth via Coolah. Thanks to all the COs for placing the caches and showing us around your region.
Travelling from Mudgee to Tamworth via Gunnedah. Finding many different caches in many different locations. To the CO's thank you for placing these caches there throughout the countryside and towns. TFTC
Caching around Coolah with my Geowife. Good to see so many great caches.
The recent rainstorm has played havoc with a lot of caches unfortunately.
My second attempt at this one. Sneaky little hide

This took a little longer than it should. Possibly 'cos we were contemplating the apparatus here. Thanks for the cache.
Found on a sunny Saturday while camping at Coolah Tops and finding some caches.
My wife loves opp shops, so I thought this would be a treat for her. Pity it was a Sunday and shop closed. Found the cache though. tftc.
On a family drive from Newcastle to Dubbo. Decided to swing by Coolah and grab some lunch and a few caches in the way.
A quick park and grab. Always feel a bit dodgy loitering around a school but I think I managed to be discrete. TNLN TFTC

Anzac Day so the crowds were out and roads were closed for the march . Thanks anyway.
After leaving Dubbo we headed to Coolah for an over night stay & to locate the many caches in the area. Placing all the caches in town must be a boost for the local area.
Thanks for placing this cache Angus88

With lunch done, we started a trek north for some caching fun, took a little while to find, but got it in the end.
What a cool contraption! That's for placing a cache here.

Not sure how close we were, felt pretty obvious scrabbling around the ivy in front of a school.
Having been at the Day on the Green on Saturday, stayed at Coolah for the night and on Sunday decided to do some caching. TFTC
Used a previously log to make this find. Finally we can leave with a Coolah cache.
Love your opening sentence "This had to be classed a micro but but it leans towards the small so it is definately not a nano."
Despite this description I didn't have any luck. Kids to keep their fingers away from the machinery. Thanks.

In top of contraption. Thats a good word, contraption. I like that. Fav point for using the word 'contaption'
Hunted around the structure and garden but to no avail. We were able to also visit the op shop which was open.
On our way home again, Triciac2 and I, from the Melbourne Mega.
We want to pick up a few more caches, but they need to be reasonable easy ones along the road side as we've had quite a work-out the past few days.
This was not exactly the quick grab we had in mind. It was indeed a DNF. GPSr was bouncing with an accuracy of 12m, so it was difficult to pinpoint GZ. So many possibilities, but not one that held the cache. We gave up after a thorough search.
Liked the contraption though. At least I ended up with a great picture!

The kids and I visited hubby on his swing off from a Cobar mine, on the school holidays. Then we all drive to my Uncle and Aunty's in Coolah. Took muggle Aunty and Uncle caching in their home town. Might have introduced some new members. My Aunty found this one very quickly. TFTC.
Found last night with my geo wife. The cache was proving difficult in the dark but next thing I knew I as we were about to leave put my hand straight on it. TFTC.
Well hidden, looked all around it, great spot.

We came to Qld to attend the mega and after we headed of to Kingaroy for a couple of day but now we slowly make the trip back to Adelaide grabbing caches along the way, we thank all those hid caches for us to find along our journey back. TFTC
There were a couple of people looking out of the opp shop when we pull up, so Mrs TiedyeSmileys went in to distract them while Mr TiedyeSmileys made the quick find.

Found by Mary & David at 1255. Wish we knew what the nearby contraption is all about. Looks a bit like a motorised clothes line, with a car axle for the vertical pole. Our thanks to Angus88.
On our way to Coonabarabran for the weekend and picking up some smilies on the way.
Nice to see some caches in Coolah as we come this way every so often.
This was a clever yet simple hide. We liked it and found a blank log but no FTF for us. Thanks Angus88

Tried this cache on the 23rd with family, then again on the 24th with Smee1961 as we had a DNF. She confirmed it was gone and will replace it soon. Hope to find it on our next visit.
To early to sign in.
Alas, the coordinates (iPhone only) didn't help me out and I wasn't wearing the right clothes to brave the vegetation.
I guess this gives me (another) reason to visit Coolah again in future.

Great to find a small town like this with an active cacher. Enjoyed doing the Coolah series with Justjessie. TFTC
