Working out how to get out of Sunshine Plaza and over here was the hard part. after reading the hint I thought ‘surely it won’t be that’ but it was!
Well done on another memorable cache.

Straightforward find, partner TheHattonBug spotted straight away. Thanks!
First cache in a long time. Was not expecting a literal transaction with your clue. Nice one
Found nice and easy. Had no idea this place existed and this hide was pretty creative. All good with this cache. TYFTC.
Managed to get this one from hint before we got to the GZ. Nice hide and even Colwen thought it was good. TFTC
Out and about with JT of Tessmann crew and a very quick find by the geograndchild. I'd like to say he has a good teacher! TFTC
Due to Police urdet investigation in the area, the cache is being disabled until the area is cleared and reopened to the public.
Spent four days at a conference on the Sunshine. The venue was only just up the road at the local Uniting Church so the first break I had, I slipped away to find this geocache. Found myself scratching around on the ground before taking a step back to ponder other hiding places and bingo!
Went to sign the new logbook only to discover I left my pen behind. So a quick dash to BigW had me buy pens that add to a ever growing pile that I will never ever use in my lifetime, signed and replaced cache as found. TFTC.

Yep. That sure looks like Jack & Jill’s to me! Cool little spot Found with Mrs Krispy Kreme. TFTC
Great spot, and good to learn about the history of the area. Construction site very active today, so I took a seat and pretended to be casually texting while I waited for the ants to evacuate the container! All is good here today.
While camping in Landsborough for a few days with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to get out and try finding a few caches ...
All Good .. TFTC ..

What an awesome little hide! Tftc def fav point for me, with lcoll112 on last day of caching before heading back to work.
Heaps of construction nearby and even at this hour there were workmen about. Waited for a couple to move on then grabbed the cache. Not being tall was a bit of a challenge but I got there in the end.

Picked up a travel bug at this cute hiding place today, will be relocating this afternoon.
Thanks Wesso's for making me aware of the history right on my own doorstep.
I always thought the mill in millwell related to a long gone sugar mill !!
TB left in honour of a great cache.
The hint helped also-:
Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after
Up Jack got, and home did trot
As fast as he could caper;
To old Dame Dob, who patched his nob
With vinegar and brown paper.

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Staying a few days in Maroochydore, it was almost 5pm when we headed out to find a few caches for the day after a trip to Bunnings. A quick couple of finds but 1 dnf for the arvo.
Geez glad we were here out of hours.

And despite the building muggles loitering around,

Today, IolantheK and myself, have planned a BIG day geocaching around the Sunshine Coast finding LOTS of them.
We had our first find around 6:30 am and our last find was about 6:00 pm with approximately 50 finds.
With both of us having cached around here before we sometimes had the case of this cache is for me and that cache is for you.
A quick find for us today.
Thanks for the cache.

Found today morning while running. My family and myself are on a trip to Cairnes. Thanks for hiding the cache. Greetings from Mainz, Germany
Tftc. Great spot & love the history Picked up a TB to take on a little journey !
Up here on holidays. What a great way to use the day whilst the wife went shopping. Picked a up a travel bug and left one.
We were up this way today to watch our grandsons play soccer and once that was over, we remembered we needed to get something for our daughter's birthday. As we drove to the shopping centre, we noticed this cache pop up on the GPS and decided to stop for a quick search. The cache was located easily and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you Wesso Family for having placed the cache and maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Out on a lovely morning with Dawesy321 and found this cache. Found quickly and signed the log without issue. Great cache location. TFTC
Genyo and I were up in the area on a mini holiday and this was the first cache of our day. A quick walk to GZ and a little search provided the cache. Tftc
Found it with my amazing geo-partner KaleidoscopeCass. Thanks for the cache! dropped off trackable geocoin.
On a planned expedition hunting with my awesome geopartner WallabyTim. He is more experienced and therefore often finds the caches before me. Not this one! I was determined so I planned ahead and read the hint. With an evil giggle, I shot out of the car as soon as he parked. Would usually be a high muggle zone but with today being Anzac Day public holiday, it was quiet and nice to be able to read and reflect on the detailed history provided. TFTC

This Day in History
Tuesday, April 5, 1932. : Australia's best-known racehorse, Phar Lap, dies under suspicious circumstances.
Phar Lap, a giant chestnut thoroughbred gelding, standing 17.1 hands high, is regarded by many to be Australia's and New Zealand's greatest racehorse. A much loved Australian national icon, he was actually born and bred in Timaru, in the South Island of New Zealand, but never raced in NZ.
The name Phar Lap was derived from the shared Zhuang and Thai word for lightning. According to the Museum Victoria, medical student Aubrey Ping often visited the track in Randwick, talking with riders and trainers. He had learned some Zhuang from his father, who migrated to Australia from southern China. He reputedly suggested "Farlap" as the horse's name. Sydney trainer Harry Telford liked the name, but changed the F to a Ph to create a seven letter word, and split it into two words, so as to replicate the dominant pattern set by Melbourne Cup winners.
Phar Lap dominated the racing scene in Australia during a long and distinguished career. In the four years of his racing career, he won 37 of 51 races he entered, including the Melbourne Cup in 1930. In that year and 1931, he won 14 races in a row. For his final race in 1932, Phar Lap was shipped to Agua Caliente Racetrack near Tijuana, Mexico, to compete in the Agua Caliente Handicap, which was offering the largest purse ever raced for in North America.
Early on 5 April 1932, Phar Lap's trainer for the North American visit, Tommy Woodcock, found him in severe pain, with a high temperature. Within a few hours, Phar Lap haemorrhaged to death. A necropsy revealed that the horse's stomach and intestines were inflamed, and many believed he had been deliberately poisoned. A variety of theories have been propounded through the years. In 2006 Australian Synchrotron Research scientists said it was almost certain Phar Lap was poisoned with a large single dose of arsenic 35 hours before he died, supporting the belief that Phar Lap was killed on the orders of US gangsters, who feared the Melbourne-Cup-winning champion would inflict big losses on their illegal bookmakers.
Phar Lap's heart was a remarkable size, weighing 6.2 kg, compared with a normal horse's heart at 3.2 kg. Phar Lap's heart is now held at the National Museum of Australia in Canberra. It is consistently the display visitors request most often to see, and pay their respects to the gentle, big-hearted giant of the horse racing world.
