#621 - Garmin eTrex 30
This was the only find for the day. I was keen to find this cache as it fills in a missing date on my dates hidden calendar. I hadn't updated my Garmin in a couple of weeks so I had no idea it was temporarily inactive. I went to the posted coordinates and after inspecting nearly every legible headstone, I finally found the required information. I returned to the car and after working out the coordinates for GZ, I realised this was one of the few multis I have actually worked out in the field. I drove to GZ and walked up to where the cache should be. It looks like I have found just what everyone else has - the top of a bison tube and that's it. Any future action on this cache needs to be done with caution as there is a bees nest nearby. Needless to say, I would have signed the log if there was one there. TFTC.

I am a bit partial to multis located in historic graveyards so I made a beeline to this one when I saw it on the map while I was in Richmond today. I located the required gravestone after enjoying a quick stroll around the place, and after gathering the information needed, was a liitle surprised at the coords I came up with ... but since the checksum worked out, I headed off to where I calculated GZ to be. Once there, and taking note of the hint, the cache (or more specifically what is left of it) was soon found. I have taken a photo of the cache as evidence of the find.
As many others before me have noted, this cache is in urgent need of repair/replacement ... or if the CO is not so inclined (which appears to be the case since numerous 'needs maintenance' flags have been ignored), of archival.

It may be time for this one to go to the graveyard ... the need for this cache to be repaired/replaced has been formally raised with the CO at least 4 times over over the past 10 months but none of these 'needs maintenance' logs has attracted any response let alone action from the CO.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

TFTC and a simple multi. I was last here around 5 years ago for a wedding. While here I completed a photographic assignment for a degree I was pursuing. We wandered around Richmond looking at the historical sites. Today we are grey nomads and Richmond is a stop for some R & R and catch up with friends and a few caches as well.
Disappointed there was no log to signals the bottom
of the bison had gone AWOL . We carry mint tins and plastics but unfortunately no bisons. CO needs to give this one some attention. We submit a photo to show we have been to GZ.

Didn't take long to work out the coordinates and a quick find after that. Still only half a container and no log so have attached image as proof. Interesting location that doesn't appear to have been added to in the more recent times. TFTC.
Very interesting find. As previous comments say it is missing the bottom half and logbook and needs maintenance but oh well.
Yep, the bottom half of the cache is missing and there is no log scroll. Needs maintenance

At the moment I'm on a work and travel backpacking trip through the world. Most of the first two years I'll spend in Australia and I'm trying to solve my 365 days of caching challenge during this trip. The chance of having a moving home zone should be taken, as it will make the challenge so much easier.
To get the final coordinates was no problem, so I headed over. As mentioned before, the is no box anymore, but, as no one seems to care, I'll also log my find. Of course I took a picture of the place, as proof, that I've been there. I'll send it, if the co wants to see.
TFTC and greetings from Germany

Found at 2:35pm with JordsAU.
The two of us were fresh off a footy game down at Benson's Lane when we decided to sneak a cache in on our way back to civilization. We calculated the coordinates when we arrived at the first waypoint with no real difficulties. We explored the old gravestones, some of them are really old and quite worn.
Off we went to GZ and had no trouble honing in on the cache which sadly needs some TLC as we only found one part of it and no log.
Thanks for the cache ADAcache

As per previous log entry, only top half of cache remains and no log.
Also have photo of what is left of the cache in situ if you require a look (just send me a message), want post it online as it would be a spoiler for other cachers.

...well found half of the cache container in "the spot", but unfortunately was unable to sign the log as both the log and bottom half of the container are no longer attached. A search of the general location did not turn up anything.
Will put up a maintenance log to alert CO.

Returned today with Geokids to find the cache and a play at the park.
Thanks for the helpful hint of a fellow cacher we were in this area last time but today we found it.
Nice hide got some great chockos too.

After a DNF with this cache last last year, I was determined to return and make the find. A hint from a previous finder confirmed that my preconceptions about the cache hiding spot were completely wrong, and on return to GZ the cache was quickly spotted and log signed. TFTC ADAcache!
Geohubby spotted this one first and very quickly too. Signed log and put the little guy back in place. TFTC.

Rumbled down the F1 or the Pacific Motorway as it's known these days. Heading to the Western Sydney Flatlands ie Windsor, Richmond and surrounding suburbs. Trying to pickup a few caches along the way. Stopped at the first waypoint to gather the information required interesting walk around the Graveyard reading all the local history, Of course it had to be the last tombstone I looked at did the maths and off to the GZ. Arriving at the location quickly noticed the plant memtioned in the discription found the tiny sucker well done. Thanks to all who made my evening memorable, Thanks for the adventure

No good this time. (Geofrown for first cache of the day out...) We knew we were on the right prickly track when we bumped into alnickthirty from the mountains who was back for the 2nd time... It's on his watchlist and ours now too...
Worked out the coords to GZ pretty easily and on approach knew I was in the right spot given the hint, however I was unable to find the cache, will have to come back for another look.
I gathered the info from WP1 last Wednesday. So this afternoon a run was made to the fruit shop at Richmond, with shopping done and the sun out dropped by the final location. A few paper wasp nests were identified in the cactus and with no wasps in evidence those nests are now cactus.
After some deliberation around the area a skilfully hidden cache was spied. tftc

After doing three canyons over the long weekend, my legs were too sore to do difficult caches.

I approached the cache from the lower side and after using one of the senses, discovered this well hidden hide.

Left early this morning to find another cache to fill in my calendar day. I had gathered the information for this one two days ago on a prior expedition. Went in via the service entry not realising you could park on the main road. Made it interesting anyhow. GPSr was pointing away from where the cache was. Reading the prior logs I knew it couldn't be in that other bush. TFTC.

The info needed was quickly found & I soon had GZ calculated. In the drizzly rain, I decided to be lazy and drove up the little access road & parked just a few metres from the cache.
This one had me baffled for some time, so I resorted to a TAF. Canary provided guidance, then suggested that I was suffering from the common disorder of male fridge blindness [?].
Thanks

Knocked off the traditional first, then onto this one.
Eventually found Freddy, literally lying down. Call me lazy bones, but drove to GZ, surely not in there, otherwise I'm cactus.
Did eventually pick it up away from that thorny plant. Thanks ADAcache

Sad about Fredrick Crowley Cornwell so young.... Nice short multi, search for short one until spotted it and signed the log with sevabo. Thanks ADAcache.
My 100th cache. Yahoo!!!
My first Multi-Cache.
Found with Geo-Son & Geo-Bro.
Very prickly spot & had to watch out for the abundance of wasps nest too.
Very tricky hide.
Met the neighbor who came out & had a chat. Knows the cache is there, somewhere.

The coordinate were close. But not sure if it is in the right location.
CO can you please check if it a right location. It was a few good meters off from GZ coordination.
TFTC SL returned it where I found it.

As I'd come back for the newly replaced "Final Rest" I couldn't miss this one at the same time. I was pleased to find the info relatively quickly as it could have been a needle in a haystack. Did the calculations in my head and wrote the coords on my hand before putting them into c:geo. It wasn't a long distance away but I knew it couldn't be too close by with the other cache nearby. Found my way to a promising area but couldn't find anything. A PAF put me in the right position to make the find. Signed and replaced.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I missed this one yesterday so swung past to try my luck on the way home.
Located the site and the numbers needed and wandered about the graveyard for a while.
Back to the car and crunched the numbers. Off to GZ for a quick find and swung while signing the log.
A great series.

The WaywardWoman had a blank day to fill on her calendar, so she dragged NickoHeao and me along as distraction for the cache find. The WaywardWoman did the hard work of figuring out the coordinates and finding the cache. NickoHeap attended to the more serious business of establishing who could swing highest. Thanks
#2123- After crazy August madness, I now have my sights set back o completing my calendar. This was the closest I could come up with to do tonight. I had been to the now, very familiar, graveyard, collected the necessary info and worked out the co-ords about a week ago, so was hoping it would be fairly straight forward. Arrived at the park and saw the cactus from a distance- it certainly is big! Luckily had CIH in a few minutes as there was a neighbour just on the other side of the fence. Thanks for another graveyard visited and calendar day filled ADAcache.
After acquiring the coordinates, we decided we would wait and have a little after-school excursion with the kids. Cache was found after a very quick search, then we enjoyed the area for a while, before heading off to find the next. SL TFTC
A mini streak, two in two days, actually I required a cache for my caching calendar and this one popped up.
This is a well used cemetery, many cache have emanated from this location. With the required information gathered, it was off to GZ.
For a while I thought I was cactus but eventually getting the right angle, the cache was spotted, log signed and all replaced as found.

I was sitting at home thinking I need to head out soon for my daily find and undecided as to how far from home should I go. While I was scrolling through the closest 20 in the phone app the email notification popped up. You beauty the decision was made for me. Put on my shoes, grabbed the geodogs and headed out to this familiar cemetery (been here a few times trying to find the nearby cache). Got the needed info quickly and jumped back in the car and drove right up to GZ. Found the empty log and SL #1001 in the {*FTF*} spot on streak day #423 TFTC
