I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, Ryan00, requesting additional time.Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned. In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party. Thanks,BalayangCommunity Reviewer - Australia
### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information.. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by Ryan00 and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayangCommunity Reviewer -Australia
I would say this is missing. Several DNF and we had a look around and nothing that hasn't already been completely burnt out.
Tough climb up from the Duck Reach carpark, then a quick find. Lovely part of the world. Tftc
Out by myself today exploring the local area and finding a few caches on the way.
After walk beside the river it was time to head home. I saw this one not far off the road on the way out so decided there was time for one more.
Another short walk to get the heart rate up I arrived at GZ where the cache was easily found.
All was good with it.

Had a nice walk on a cold sunny day. Found the cache easily but not sure where the path was. Events got back to the top. Thanks for this cache.
Passed under the very low power lines then headed uphill to GZ. Well that was my cardio workout for the day!!!
At GZ the cache was overlooked at first but eventually found in one of the first places I'd checked.
Note to self - search the obvious spot more thoroughly!!
Thanks.

This cache was missing and has been replaced, this time in a slightly different spot.
Had what I thought was a good look.
Recent-ish limb of tree down may be related to hint?
Anyway, needed to press on.

Thank you for the cache. Maggie the great GeoWestie caching with Carer. strolling with Angus88
A detour today to come and find the only cache left in the area for myself. A quick search without any issues.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

This was one of those caches I had driven past many times and knew that I had to plan a stop and get out and go for a walk. Well, thanks for that walk, a new place to explore and discover. Nice easy find with the cache in good condition and still where it should be. TFTC.
I waddled up the hill from the lookout below,
there is a track that starts from the side of the road
Having conquered the uphill walk,
I poked GZ for a surprisingly quick find [:o]
Picking meself up off the forest floor,
I signed the logbook

Seems like the duck can reach a fair way and uphill. It was good going though once we found the correct path, and cache was soon located and signed. Thanks Ryan00 for organising the cache.
Second one on the walk, was lying on the ground so replaced at proper hiding spot. TFTC
After looking in the wrong area for 10 mins found it easily in the right area! Cute little bottle only spotted the slight red of the lid tftc.
I searched where the cache was and missed it so we spent ages going round and round until Goose looked and it was an easy find. I must be blind.
Thanks for the cache.

I'm not sure how far a duck can reach but at this cache a goose was able to reach further than a rat! As we wound our way back to the car we picked up a couple of caches and thins was one. The first look at this location was not the most thorough, a second look by a feathered friend was done properly TFTC
Followed GPS straight to the GZ, looked at the GZ and thought "yep definitely this one!".... looked for the cache and saw nothing. Carried on searching a 15m radius and GPS kept bringing us back go the same place. Eventually Mr had another look in the expected location and of course, there it was. A bit off our game this afternoon clearly! TFTC!
No trouble locating this cache but wasn't expecting to have to climb (a bit) after walking down to the Power Station and up the other side and return. Good exercise and another cache in the bag. TFTC!
TFTC who built all these tracks - so many around Launceston. Another place I have not ventured to before !
Is an amazing walk through this area that I really didn't know existed despite living in the area my entire childhood years... Was very surprised to come across an old vintage car that has been laid to rest to rust away peacefully under the trees... Will return one day soon with camera gear to get some shots of this beauty.
Quickly found this cache which was a relief after s DNF on Ryan's other cache down here.

#150...Grabbed this one on an outing with the geopup, easy find.cache in good condition. Gotta love Tassie and always being so close to bush. TFTC
Once again I have never been here, it's a great walk. Cache is in good order. Tftc

Wasn't sure of track locations so followed the GPS and did a bit of bush bashing to get to GZ. An easy find and easier descent when following an established track out... thanks ..!!
We came in from Corin St with the idea of doing all three but we did not have much accuracy with the first two which should have been easy so did not push onto the third given the logs and that we had not checked on google maps. We completed the signing duties and re hid. The camo is coming off the second hide. TFTC

Going well. That would be 2 of Ryan00's I could not find. Perhaps I couldn't see this one as I was still quite annoyed that I had to give up on the other one. maybe its not there, if so, then that would make me feel a lot better! Thanks anyway!
Logged, left 2 small swap items.
Also found 2 cicada exoskeletons at the base of the hiding spot. Nice bush walk.

This was a welcome easy find after doing Reaching Duck previously. Didn't know this trail was up here so thanks for bringing us to it.
After surveying the area we decided not to head to GZ from Corin St - neither of us are mountain goats. We found a small but clear track heading from a turning circle and followed this to GZ where accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and it's contents were in good condition. Thanks for another enjoyable cache Ryan00.
This find was a personal milestone: it is the first time we have managed to get our number of unfound Tasmanian caches below 500, one of our caching goals for the year.

Out doing the larger loop walk from the Basin and headed up here for this cache. It turns out I made life hard for myself, opting for the bush bash approach when there ended up being a perfectly serviceable path nearby. On the bright side, the walk back out was easy!
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache Ryan00.
best wishes,

Another great walk. We pulled in at the little loop in the road and followed a quaint little track up the hill thru the bush to a successful find
This somehow got called "Duck Reach #1" on my GPS & it took a bit of finding on the web to log it. Maybe a case of the leopard changing it's spots? No matter as the coords were good so no probs finding in the field & the cache just popped into my hand. Nice walk too. For someone who grew up over the other side of the river (& knows those tracks intimately) this was a nice surprise.
Approached this one from the bottom although we weren't going to do any hills today after a day in the garden yesterday left us both a little stiff and sore. But a smilie is a smilie! The mosquitos around here are ferocious at the moment, they nearly carried me away! TFTC
Nice walk along the track (when we found it) and to the cache. The river was flowing strongly (in flood?) and we had a great view of it

Blundered about in the dark for a while to no avail. Nice night though! Will try again in the daylight
For some strange reason I decided to ride my mountain bike up to find this one. From Mowbray rode up to the reserve in Hardwicke St and made my way down to the cache from the top. Wet and bumpy but soon had cache in hand. Now for the ride home......TFTC
