11194. Headed up to the Orange region with AngelG27, Sol de Lune and specimenX ("FASS") for a fun-filled weekend of caching. Lots of caches found, a few not found, and a lot of laughs had as we toured around over 2 full days as far north as Wellington which resulted in 124 finds for me.
Arriving in Orange around 9pm we checked into the Motel then headed out for a few quick finds while the muggles (mostly !) were indoors. This was the next find of the trip for me. To avoid too much suspicious activity in this particular location two of us jumped out and searched a couple of places and then we came up with the find. Log signed, cache returned, and we were off to the next one.
Thanks The Smodges !!

Found as part of an Orange and surrounds geomission with fitzy_1965, AngelG27 & Sol de Lune (signed as FASS to save time & space ) Top weather, great company and lots of laughs meant for an epic weekend of caching all round!
Stayed in the Geo-Jeep whilst two of the team jumped out to make the find as discreetly as possible at this location!
Thanks for the hide, The Smodges

Travelled to Orange from Canberra tonight with Specimen X, Sol de Lune and Fitzy_1965 for a big weekend caching. Got here around 9pm and decided to head out for a few quick caches while the muggles were inside keeping warm. Signed as FASS
Second of the evening - two only hopped out to search to avoid suspicion, and it was found after frisking the wrong object first. TFTC!

This cache or this location seemed very familiar, and I think we have searched without success before - although we don't seem to have logged a DNF. Again we bounced around with coords taking us this way and that but finally Mr Winglen pulled it off and we logged just before a chap came along and started working on the big green distribution box that we had been looking over a minute earlier!! TFTC.
Thanks. This was a hard one to find without looking too suspicious. Did find after 5 mins.
Thanks the Smodges for this cache. No sheriffs around. micro was in full and open view so moved it a few centimetres to keep it safe.
Was convinced this one would be trickier than it really was! Nice find in the end. Too nervous I wouldn't be able to replace log, so too photo instead. Tftc
Probably made it harder than it was but the coords put us in the middle of the street.
Went for a nice stroll down the street from the motel. Wasn't too far so that was a bonus. Second cache for the trip. Signed S193. Tftc. Didn't get pulled up by the cops on this one. Although there was a few cars out the front.
I looked right past this one, until a paf showed me the errors of my ways, slap in the head moment indeed.
On our way home to Sydney from Yeoval. Stopped at Scrumptious on Smmer for a tasty lunch and decided we had time for just one cache in Orange on this visit. This was the one. Didn't seem to attract any constabulary attention. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Cache replaced this morning, new container is the same, very small magnetic nano. You will need an extraction tool.
i mr r was running hot today !! found i the first spot checked, too easy, thanx
TFTC! We didn't have a pen to sign, but found with ease.
We're here for Orange Food night market.

Found at 9:41am with Nush89.
The family was on a short Easter Weekend holiday to Orange and this meant Caches!!!
Nush89 and I were keen to rack up a few along the journey and this was number 6 of 7 for caches in Orange and our second for the day after finding 'OVERDACHOOCHOO' just a short drive from here.
Unfortunately the rain came down heavily later on in the afternoon which restricted us from doing any more caches in the area.
This one was a simple find which Nush89 located. We noticed the cop shop over the road so we went about our business as quietly as possible. Signed log and returned cache into place.
The rain was slowly setting in so we moved along quickly to try and sneak in another one or two.
Thanks for the cache The Smodges

Found at 9:41am with Jase90. 2 second find, nice easy one for the rainy weather. TFTC
Yep, it's easy once you know what you are looking for. That didn't help when we tried 12 months ago!. TFTC
Came visiting while the Science Circus was in town - took a photograph, left a footprint.

Found this fourth cache on a Golf Trip to Orange. Looked for a long time to find but success in the end, a clever hide. TFTC
Not many people around on a Saturday afternnon, so an easy search...and made the find after a couple of minutes. Cache all good.
Like the name and the thinking behind it. Thanks for the cache.

First find by Mr J! A nice easy one following a picnic lunch on our way from Parkes to Blue mountains
The second last day of our Christmas/New Year camping trip saw us heading from Wanda Wandong camping area in Goobang National Park via Yeoval, Cumnock and Molong down to Orange.
One of these nanos which sometimes can be hard to find - this wasn't.

First orange find. At least it was quiet and no bill's were looking at me suspiciously TFTC
A very quick find this morning at 6am with no muggles or bobbies in view. Thanks to the smodgers for their cache
We came to Orange on our way home from Dubbo for some lunch and a couple of cache. I went to rendezvous at the park with my family and when they weren't there I popped up here for an extra cache. I looked at the right spot initially and only after searching a few more spots I came back here and spotted it. It then took a loooooong time to get the tightly stuffed log out.
Thanks The Smodges

Wow, found with Jimmy trubl & brown. Very busy area. Was accosted by the local police during high terrorism alert but explained our self and they helped us find it. Lol TFTC
Visiting Orange for a sad family occasion there is still time to find this one in company with my youngest daughter who quickly grabbed the prize. 11:00pm

On the way home from Dubbo to Wilton. Stopped at the RSL for lunch then the geowife allowed me a couple of caches before heading home..
A quick find with 'the neighbs'. Found a useful tool nearby to retrieve log. TFTC The Smodges.
We picked Good Friday to do around Town,no body around only Motor Bike Policeman.Easy find tftc
Easy find despite the traffic. Needs a new log as this one is full. I have ordered some this size but they r still on their way to me. Tftc
Looking to do a quick one in the backstreets, this one didn't fail to deliver a quick find.
Now the heat is subsiding, GCing will again become a priority. First find for a while and what a beautiful day in Orange! TFTC
The GPSr wanted me in the middle of the road but, luckily, the Google map was spot on and I was able to make a quick grab without attracting the attention of the local constabulary. SL, TFTC The Smodges.
