Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
Sadly with 2 deaths in our family in recent months we have not been caching much. Apologies to searchers. Please let us get through this very rough Christmas and we will have this cache back up and running. Gecko1968
On a trip to Canberra and Queanbeyan to tackles some caches, we were unable to locate this one, despite our best searching efforts.
Mmmm, well we found an obvious hole, but it was sadly empty.
Cheers

Needed a really quick one to keep streak going. On way to Florey to pick up dinner but decided anything there would be too hard to get at this time of evening. Glad to get this one at last as on previous visit it had been out of commission. It was really quick thank goodness. SL TFTC gecko1968
Found @ 3:28pm
My last for the day and quickest find as I spied it on approach, thanks gecko1968

Found this one out in the open on the ground. I was fortunate to get that close as my GPSr was all over the place. It couldn't decide between three groups of trees. Placed the cache in spot that seems logical and matches the hint.
TFTC the geokids played a game of hide and seek while hunting for the cache! Had ball found with graceash left a token.
TFTC was a good little hide. Found while playing hide and seek with the geokids and graceash
Very close to daughter's house! First find in Canberra for me (with Judith) ..
Whoops, that last note was meant for a different cache. This one's all good. Cheers
Found on a morning caching run to try to clean up the newer caches in the suburbs near where I live. Found this one despite a nearby dog barking madly. Dipped the TBs that I had on hand. TFTC Gecko
In the area feeding some cats so we stopped for a quick drive by before heading home to feed our tribe of fur faces, TFTC
Another quick find.
The cache was a little exposed, so I found some covering for it.
Thanks.

After doing the 50 Places to See series, I still had a bit of energy so grabbed a few more that afternoon. This was one. TFTC
Found this on 28 January (just catching up on some overdue logging of cache finds
I decided it was well and truly time to take a slight detour cycling home from work and see if I could find at least some of the caches in this area ... thought this was going to be a DNF when I found the "decoy" (an empty hole at knee height) but then I looked a bit higher than the hint would suggest, and there was the hole I needed
TFTC ... another smiley, and another lane way I have now been down

#1452 - 21:20; Another day and another addition to the current streak! I had dropped in to catch up with a few fellow cachers at the GCA OZ Mega Event Dinner and dropped by to fill a hole on the way home. Managed to park within 20 metres and despite what the iPhone was saying, identified GZ and put my hand straight onto the cache. TFTC gecko1968
Finally after coming by and it being missing the fixed and found and it still wasn't there started to doubt myself then checked again and viola. I think someone is messing with us.
The dog was clean and I had some time for a change so I was looking for a nice easy walk in the suburbs so a lap of Scullin fitted the bill. Parked the car here, made the quick find and continued on foot.
Found in the dark. Trust my pen to die at an inopportune time, so attaching a photo of the log. TFTC
Found it and replaced it where it should be. Swapped the Gecko Pathtag for a joeylovestreasure tag. Found with Tininarra. TFTC.
Thank you for replacing the cache. But not "Shin height", but rather thigh height. TFTC.
Ok fixed this one again. New container as I can't afford to keep losing bisons PLEASE PLEASE ensure future finders cover with bark and try not to draw attention to the cache. Thanks heaps, happy caching.
Sorry all have been very busy aim to get this up again within the week. Thanks for your patience.
Sadly with school holidays upon us Muggles have finally struck this cache. Will get out there this week for a maintenance run.
Hmmm. Couldn't find it either. Just geting back into the game so might just be a rusty. Will try again this weekend as I live around the corner.
This was the 3rd for our northern adventure this arvo, and another well tucked away cache keenly secured whilst Binni* was bouncing between trees
I wasn't planning on going geocaching but couldn't resist when I noticed that this one was only 50m away from me. I didn't have a pen to sign the log with though. I'll go sign it next time I'm nearby.
TFTC.

Found this with my Dad fitzy_1965 and sis Stardust2410. Finally catching up with my logs.

The GPS was jumping around a fair bit so we weren't really sure where to search. We searched in the obvious spot and came up with the find. TFTC.
With so many caches popping up around Belconnen I decided to go out for a shout bike ride to get some. With plenty of windows about it was hard to know who might be watching, but I was not here long. Thanks.

We decided we needed to go away and find another cache after searching for Cooks Army and see if it could help us refocus . This seemed like a good target and not to far away. Mr Stormcatcher being crippled did the navigating and Miss Stormcatcher did the retrival work.
Thanks again Team gecko1968 now back to have one last go at your new one !

Last for the day and a quick find by DRT before the rest of us started. TFTC
Found about 9:30pm. I needed one today to help me complete the "366 days" grid.
Once I located the cache the next challenge was how to retreive it. My hands and fingers were not suitable. I decided to use soime of the local tools. Cache was soon recovered, log signed as I was on my way home.
Thanks gecko for the hunt.

A nice quick find for out last today with the Stars and DRT. Having just completed a similar one, this one was a breeze. TFTC
Found on a nice day out this way. Parked on the nearby street and walked towards GZ, which the niche was spotted from a mile away. Once there, our prediction was correct and it was a quick find. Very nice hide in a nice area. TFTC gecko1968!
Still waiting for our nearby friends to register that we have placed this cache almost on their front doorstep LOL

Found with SpecimenX during an after work "urban loop" geomission [^]
We approached this one as the weather was getting colder. We were starting to lose feeling in our hands, but we pushed on.
The name of this cache gave us some ideas on where to look so it wasnt long before we had the cache in our hands.
Thanks for another nice hide gecko1968

Next on the agenda for the evening was this one. Parked the car, torches on, then off we went for the short stroll to GZ. Once there, a subtle geoclue gave us a hint-and there it is! Another clever little hide We even saw a gecko cache guardian! (or was it the CO?? ) Thanks, gecko1968!

2415. A quick find this time. I guess a few minutes up the road a little helped for the search of this one. TFTC.
After finding the previous cache, I had a fair idea of what is was looking for. Cache was soon in hand.

Dang! 8m out again! And this time we had a barking dog to add to the equation! Luckily there were not so many places nearby, and I made a reasonably quick find. Thanks gecko!
Know this area well as it used to be a regular access path when we lived around here. A quick grab with Just a cacher after voting duties done.
Thanks for the cache gecko1968.
Thanks for the cache gecko1968.
I used to walk through here when I caught the bus. A quick grab on a sunny morning.
Thanks Gecko1968.
Thanks Gecko1968.
623. *3rd to find* Nice and sneaky spot! There were two others across the road talking, and it wasn't until after I signed the log and looked up that I realised they were part of the game!
Hello there jaralah3 and Garschdi ! How nice to meet you!
TFTC once again gecko1968!

2TF after Jaralah3
When I arrived at GZ, Jaralah3 had the cache already in her hands. But that is okay. She saved me the trouble of a long search. And it was a pleasure to talk to her. During our conversation a third guy arrived at GZ and looked for the cache. It was Primary Evidence. Nice to meet you both!
All in all, it was a funny geocaching afternoon. TFTC gecko1968!
