I was so close to giving up in this one it's a truly evil hide. Very satisfying to have found it in the end. Thanks cache is in good condition Favourited.
Tricky little bugger. Nice hide, found though after quite a search with Muddtrax. Log signed and returned.TFTC.
#776 ~ Thank goodness Krossbo & I were Night Caching. The only muggles we had to contend with were the ones driving by. This one certainly had us earning the smiley We poked & prodded, shined the torch in holes, tried pulling, sliding & twisting but the cache would not reveal itself. The penny finely dropped with the clue & we tried concentrating our efforts there. We were just about to call it a night after 45min of searching when I decided to get a different perspective. Found it!!! Sneakily hidden TFTC Konie
This was a 10kms cycle for this one and only. Two
were in the bush nah just past a python and three DNF.

Headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.
Decided to hit a few around Buderim since there was an event nearby that I was attending.

Quick search and I soon had the cache in hand.

Had tried to find this once before a few years ago. Decided to try again while in the area and narrowed in on it pretty quick - lots of watching eyes to avoid but a great hiding spot.
This cache has been on our watch list for a while after a previous unsuccessful hunt.Today a little more care and a bit of luck gets a .
Thanks Konig.
Thanks Konig.
Easy find. Helps i have one of my own.
Up this way for a night shift and nice and early.

As usual this type of cache gets the tenderfoots going - lots of DNFs. Haven't seen one for years. Great hide. Thanks Konie.
Tried looking for this one at peak hour. Very exposed, so best to try at much quieter times of day. No luck for us at this one today.
Konie I found your cache The Crossing on Dixon on 10/6/2022, 3:10 pm. This is my find 3481 and find # 7 today. Had to put on my thinking cap on and let the fingers do the walking. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Peppa and I had planned to attend the Meet the Canadian event at Mooloolaba today so to make a day of it, we left home at 7am to have a full day. Met up with E-Smiley to continue our caching day.
This one certainly had us checking EVERYTHING we could touch once and even twice but no luck. Peppa checked a place I had looked and he found the sneaky hide. How did I miss that? Happy to have found it anyway. SL then returned as found.

Patrol14 and I have journeyed to the Sunnie Coast for the Canadians at the Coast event in Mooloolaba this afternoon… deciding to make a full day of it we left the Southern burbs of Brisbane this morning at 7am…
Thinking we’d work our way through Mountain Creek we were joined by E_Smiley… Like whenever we attempted to walk on grass today, it didn’t take long to get bogged down in the caches…
This is one of those caches that took way to long… we combed all the regular places, and some not so regular until I used my fingers thinking it was one thing and found and old favourite instead… sneaky indeed… tftc…

So happy to have joined the lovely caching group of Peppa and Patrol14 before the event today. We basically targeting caches with recommended at night to qualify for a challenge, then other caches along the way.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Konie. Took awhile to find this sneaky one.

Definitely looked suss while finding this one - if you want stealth, search for this one in the evening
Thanks for this one. All is good I wonder if the person will catch any crabs nearby with his two pots. All is good with this one
We really needed some help here from the CO. Pleased to finally be able to lodge a smilie. A cleverly considered hide - the type we like to see. TFTC.
After pulling and pushing everything we could we pulled the pin...but we'll be back.
I was up on the Sunshine Coast again grabbing a few caches with Selva Girls. I found 27 caches for the day Selva Girls found a few less. We had lots of fun today. Sorry for the generic post, yes more short log because I am so far behind in logging. TFTC. *3871* Finds
We were almost back to the car after our ride and a DNF here seemed like it was on the cards. We had explored every crevice (or so we thought) and so set about resorting to old logs for any bastion of help like any good abecedarian.
Now don’t think I am a cunning wordsmith. I would love to be able to subdue any foe with my prowess of the English language but I was looking for how to spell things magicians say when they pull a rabbit out of a hat. However the beers have started to take a hold and I misspelt what I was looking for and stumbled across a new word: Abecedarian.
Abecedarian means novice and now that I have learnt that word wanted to use it 3 times in this log. It was about the same amount of times I checked the same area for this cache before feeling it. tftc

Having read the logs, I kind of think I vaguely knew what I was looking for here, but time was against me. Gave it 10 minutes, and then had to move on. I'll be back! Thanks for the intrigue, Konie.
Have to concede defeat today. read the logs, looked in all the likely places and for all the likely suspects but no luck. Will check again next time I’m on the Sunshine Coast. Cobwebs and spiders didn’t help.
Out chasing some target caches in the area today, as this one was not far from the target cache it would have been silly not to grab it while I was passing.
I have seen this style of cache before but not used in this situation, nice job. Took a few looks and requires a thorough search to find. Nice job.
It is where you think it is just not what you think it would be, lol. Thanks for the cache.

It was really hard to find it but finally we found it here’s a clue I’m magnetic
The time I have spent on this cache is amazing but today I finally found it! What a sneaky little cache! Even after a clue from the Rattenbury Family I still struggled, but today found whilst coming home. All good with this cache. TYFTC.
A quick little find this morning while walking a friends dog... good excuse for a stop! Tftc
While camping in the area with my geodog Scruffy, we just had to get out and find a few more caches ...
All Good .. TFTC ..

Out with wombles and 1MinnieMoo on a lovely sunny day collecting a few smileys. After collecting the info for the nearby multi cache wombles mentioned there was a cache just over the road... I'm glad she was taking notice of the map!
While we were hunting with no luck Mr OC joined us. Looking here and there, sneaky little beasty, where are you??? Just as wombles was sending a SOS message I put my hand on the cache. Very tricky! Nicely placed.
Thanks for the cache Konie

We had collected some numbers across the road for a multi and turned to walk back to the car when I realised this cache was so close by.
So we headed over to have a look.
We’d been hunting for a while when Orange Crew joined us. When we still hadn’t located the cache a while later we decided we needed a hint.
I paf but nyssaflutterby located the cache before my friend could give us a hint.
It is a well hidden cache, not a totally unusual container just well placed.

Out and about enjoying a gorgeous winter's day on the sunny coast chasing some caches and solved puzzles to help finish up the final Museum Mystery souvenir.
Saw a car with a TB on the back, and soon realised I knew who it belonged to! Met up with 1MinnieMoo, Nyssaflutterby and Wombles&Co here, who were having no luck finding the cache. Eventually Nyssa tried a spot we'd already checked, and laid her hand on the prize!

Log signed at 12:28 and cache returned as found. Thanks for the smilie **Konie**. This log is trackable.

Up the Sunny Coast for Wacky Wednesday with NyssaFlutterby and wombles and co. We had been targeting caches for gems and had just done our sums for the nearby multi, when wombles happened to mention there was a cache right here. Good thing one of us was looking at the map to check hey.
We looked for quite a while, but to no joy. Then I received a message from Orange Crew, who was on his way to the multi start point when he saw my car. Soon after, he came across to join us, and we looked some more. Finally NyssaFlutterby found it. Very sneaky!!
Thanks for the cache Konie.

Not quite the sort of crossing I was expecting here [:o]
But a very useful one [^]
Not that I could have used it !!
And a poke around,
revealed the clue was right
Though it still took me three looks

We had a nudge to find this one but should not have needed it! Great cache and hide. Thanks for the hunt Konie.
Wow, had several found logs in a row until I attempted this one... For the eighth time! This is a tough little blighters!
Tenth time being here still no luck driving me crazy slowly pulling the bridge apart
Still can’t find this one... stopped by a number of times now with different people. No idea.
It’s in a very clever hiding place that had me stumped for a while, but not too difficult and a fun find
Out for a day of caching with stortigirls and Mr Curious Quest. On our way back to the highway, we stopped by this cache. I pulled up the goemobile and the others jumped out. I was not entirely comfortable with where the geomobile was, so stayed with it until I realised that the others were having trouble locating the cache. I decided to jump out and help out. My phone seemed to be playing nicer than theirs and i soon had the cache in hand. We added our names to the log, returned the cache to its spot, then continued on our way. TFTC
Selva Girls, Curious Quest and I had been caching on the Sunshine Coast today, and after running out of daylght and doing a night cache too, we were finally on our way home. What's that? A cache right beside the road? Oh ok, one more...
After a bit of a hunt (wet phones don't give great readings and it had been raining all day) Selva Girls came up with the goods and we all signed the log before jumping back in the car. We'd passed another "one more" on the way to the night cache, so best to do that one too then Tftc Konie!

Today i was invited out up the coast with Selvagirls and Stortigirls to do some caching so jumped at the chance. After doing the Pirates lair decided to do this one. Nice quick find. TFTC,
We had some young visitors from Calliope visiting, and they live to cache. So I took them for a bike ride to find a few.
This is one we had found some time ago. But we couldn’t see it this time. Perhaps it has moved. We didn’t stay long to look, as we were running late... and fish and chips were waiting at home for dinner...
...but we didn’t see it in its old place.

Heading down to Mountain Creek today, just had to find a couple of caches.
Bugger Murphy's Law, not a muggle in sight until I had the cache in hand, then they came from all directions, just had to sit on the fence and
All with the cache

Looked for ages just couldn't pick it. Bridges are becoming our least favourite locations!!!
Third time lucky! Only because of 'a little help from our "new" friends. Thanks electroman and Konie. I had a wonderful day out today in the mountain creek area caching with my son small wombat. Got to meet Adda76?, electroman and Konie. Great to put a face to a name and hear their stories. Tftc...hard as it was easy.
Crikey! lucky we weren't alone. Really lends some ideas to caches and hides in future. Thanks Konie for a fantastic hide. Definitely a favourite.
I give up. I've looked even knowing what and where i'm looking for! This games ridiculous.
Found! Great cache nicely hidden. Could possibly be found at night as there is a street light overhead. There's a little spot to stay out of sight of muggles while you write your log entry. Thanks!
