Out and about with Barnzy12, catching up on logging from the last 2 weeks. Either as i didn't have reception on phone to load up a cache or didn't have an archived saved list. TFTH TFTC
Cravo10 and I had a huge plan today starting bright and early with a 515am meet up at Cockburn gateways shopping centre to drive down to Busselton together for the Canada Day event on the oceans edge there at the iconic Busselton jetty.
We arrived at the event just in time to see the sun rise which I took a lovely panorama of as others took in the nice views. An interesting side note as we drove to the event we noticed an information side near dalyellup that mentioned the temperature as a brick 0degrees!!
We had a great chat and then moved on to the Canada Day event in Bunbury where we had a lovely hot drink and met up with the Bunbury regulars there having a good old chat before we agreed to part ways and Cravo and I went caching around the suburbs of greater Bunbury before collecting a few more caches on the way home.
Good caching weekend overall with 20 plus finds and 3 events attended between Busselton and Armadale. Thanks to the local COs for their caches.
Didn't hold out out much chance of this still being there to be found after punching on the new co ordinates and then reading rogue log telling to look at he base of the tree we found a log that was rusted shut good and proper so we pried the container open with some concrete and brute force to find a sodden mouldy log
Added some initials as our own tore the paper. Added photo proof.

I've been checking out archived caches recently and spied this one today while holidaying in Busselton. I noticed there was a TB listed as being in there so decided to check it out.
Once I got to Rogue's coords, I spotted the likely hide and found the container. It's starting to rust and the log book is soaked but I managed to scrawl my name into it.
There was no TB in the container sorry to report
I'm Looking forward to meeting other geocachers at WA GOES BIG IN 2015, in Busselton.

Thanks R0gue for updated co-ords
Cache in need of urgent attention
The container is not watertight and in an area where it will get wet and may even be submerged in heavy rain
the zip lock bag is too big, has got holes in it and the log sheet is wet and will soon go to mush.
I have taken a photo of the signed wet log if required
TFTC, hope you can find some time to fix it up soon before it gets archived

My parents-in-law live in the lifestyle village, and this morning I went out early for a walk before everyone got up, and it was _freezing_!!
I couldn't find any access path out of the lifestyle village, so in the end I walked out the front gates, and all the way around the streets until I reached GZ. Once there I took a few precarious steps through the wet part of the wetlands, and then found myself staring at the cache sitting on the ground out in the open.
While trying to work out where to put it back by reading the logs, I realised that this one was disabled, so I took the cache and moved it outside the wetlands area, to the base of a tree across the other side of the path.
The new coords are added to this log. Thanks for the cache Jayrazor!

If the information in the NA log is correct then this cache should be shifted to a location that is guidelines compliant.
Needs archiving. GZ is about 15m inside a protected wetland area which is fenced off. A hole has been cut through the 1.2m high fence, allowing people and predators access. Surely the CO could have found somewhere else to put his cache??
Didn't find this one, and would have felt guilty claiming a smiley if I did. This one should never have been placed where it was - geocachers are meant to respect the environment, not abuse measures that are there to protect it.
Woke up late this morning as you do! [^]
Jumped on the Geo Bikes and headed off 4+ km's to our first cache. In total I think we rode approx 30kms today. The weather was magical and we had a great time.
Heading back towards the Caravan and the GeoCruiser now.
With zero DNF's to this point we were very chuffed.
Having major problems with 1 of the Electric Geo Bikes about now. Both feeling very frustrated and ready to call it a day. But still a few km's back to camp.

Great day for a walk. Took me some time to find as it was well camouflaged. The container was smaller than I was looking for.
Thanks Jayrazor
Thanks Jayrazor
Geo-hubby got bored sitting around the camp, so headed off to find some caches.
This cache took a while to locate, but he soon had our name on the log.
A bit nasty, but a good hide.
Many thanks for the cache, Jayrazor.

Our initial look came up trumps but after reading some previous logs we had a much better idea. Tfth
Our 1st DNF today.
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 2:30:00 PM, but couldn't locate the cache.

I searched for some time before I found the easy the easy one.
Thanks Jayrazor for the cache.
Thanks Jayrazor for the cache.
Took the wrong route to this one initially, but eventually found the correct one and then a short walk to GZ. It was thankfully a quick find once I realised it was a micro.
Thanks for the cache Jayrazor.
Thanks for the cache Jayrazor.
After eventually finding our way to GZ we were faced with a flooded landscape. Fortunately we were able to find a way in without getting our feet wet and the cache was in hand after some searching. Thanks for the cache Jayrazor.
The Nuvi took us on a tour of the 'lifestyle village' before we realised it was on the other side of the fence. Navigated ourselves to the closest street outside the village and made the short walk to gz. There was a lot of water around but we spotted the stones and took advantage of them to get to the other side. Cache was well disguised but found after a few minutes searching. Thanks Jayrazor.
With all the recent rainfallwe were pleased to find suitable "stepping stones" to cross over some deeper water. Cache container was found laying on the ground so was replaced at about a 1m higher elevation.

Second to find. Was on my way to Dunsborough hoping to get a FTF, but someone signed it yesterday but not logged it. Good use of the 'camouflage' to keep people on the path and out of the bush
