When we started down this little dirt road, we didnt know what to expect. Dirt obviously, maybe some trees, rocks and then more dirt and we hope to find a cache or two as well. When I pulled up the hide was on Mrs. Woodyrothwells side, so she jumped out to grab the cache. I didnt know what she was doing because she was fluffing around, but the problem was she found an ammo can that wouldnt shut. She bought it back to the car and put it in the front seat. I said get that dusty can out of my car. The lid was busted, but its an ammo can so guess what? How good is life ? tftc
TFTC youngoldfellaMissCharlieBear made the find. AmazingGracieGrace & I were so proud of her. Signed Logbook, Traded SWAG & RAF.MCB loved this GC.
After a lovely dinner at the blackbutt pub last night and a peaceful nights sleep it was an early morning start today to score a few caches before work begins. My target to day is to get to 100 caches in the south Burnett LGA to get one step closer to a challenge cache Im focusing on in Brisbane.Upon arriving at ground zero I found a safe place to park the geowagon and made my way to ground zero. It didnt take long until I had located ground zero and I soon had the log out and was making my mark for prosperity. Safely returning the cache to its hiding place I was soon back in the van and off to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Found by Mary and David at 12:05. What a decent container! We love getting off the bitumen. Our thanks to youngoldfella.
A short drive today from Nanango to Yarraman, a town that we have past through so many times, but unable to stop. Cache all good

Our final full day in Nanango. We wont have completed half the caching to be done, but it will be time to move on tomorrow as we need to be home in Victoria.
The day began with fog and showers so we were not optimistic, bit it gradually cleared into a lovely warm, if humid, day.
More great caching with good-sizes and some really cool containers and field puzzles. We really enjoyed it. Lunch in Yarraman before caching our way back to camp.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.

We are having a lovely drive out here this morning finding some caches along the way and this is one we found which is my favourite cache container. All good here log signed and replaced as found. Thanks youngoldfella for placing these caches.
Up for the weekend to do a bit of cycling. Decided to knock over a few caches along the not so Cycle friendly highway area.
Another nice big cache find for the chikins. Lucky these are nice and quick and are adding to our weekend total. It has been an amazing adventure caching around Nanango for the weekend. Have loved it so much. Thankfully there was a nice cool breeze here. TFTC.
On my way back from Nanango, with time running out, I couldn’t pass up another youngoldfella Cache or two... tftc... left some American coin...
I managed to miss this turn twice today. All good with the cache. TFTC youngoldfella.
Heading to Kingaroy to collect supplies. Turned down this side road for a couple of caches and found a nice-sized container here Extracted it from the tree and dropped off a trackable duck and a rabbit
All good here

Nice views here and a good sized cache too. I'm pleased there was another cache further along this road as it was too narrow to safely turn around. With a sore hand and gammy knees I had a little difficulty opening the cache. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC
A few caches on my way up to the QOGM 2019 event at Blackall....
A quick find. Cache container in good condition.

Crew 153 and I had big plans to try and get 100 caches in a day today.
However, Crew 153's Ford Falcon had other ideas and brought us to a screeching halt at cache number 50 by blowing its fuel pump.
We were both calm and collected about it. We still got 50 caches. Car got safely towed to Kilcoy. Mr Slow Puncture came and rescued us.. and there are still more than enough caches out there for us to try again. There ends my "cut and paste" part of the log
I did love the audacity of this hide.. and really.. no muggle is ever going to find it. We signed the log and re-hid the cache as found. Good job! TFTC youngoldfella

Fangsoki and I had picked this area for a day of caching to find caches for the Hidden Creatures Souvenirs and after an early start I finally finished the day with a total of 53 finds when we struck engine trouble and had to abort the mission.
This cache was find number 11 for the day.
I was driving and topped beside the spot and Fangsoki was out and had the cache found before I could stop the engine.

It was time to head south today along the D'Aguilar Highway and pick up a few of the available caches here and there. There was no system, just picked a random but definitely not a comprehensive selection. Note was made of our name on each cache log found and we were happy to add a reasonable total to the tally for the day. This one was a nice easy find.
Thanks go to youngoldfella for giving us another smiley on our caching map.

Found a spot to park close to the cache and I made the find while J chased some fairy wrens across the road with the camera.
Nice ammo tin (these are rare around our home parts). Swapped south Burnett badges. Took green froggy seed pod (someone very clever and creative made this) & flowery bead, left bangle and giraffe band.
Also left Rescue Pony TB ( that I noticed has already been grabbed as I was too slow to log)

On a wet windy morning, caching our way to Toowoomba fromNanango. This is the first one where we didn’t have to go through wet grass. Kutgw
Four for four this morning, we are on a roll. It’s awesome out in the country no muggles about and the caches are always where they are suppose to be and it was no different here. We had taken a side road here and are now deviating from our original plan, but who cares its early and there are caches to be found out here.
As we had left early this we morning we were now in desperate need of a coffee and a bite to eat. We had a quick snack and knocked back a couple of coffees before continuing on with our finds…

Our first outing in our (New to us) caravan, a sudden change of plan when Mrs R-F found out her Victorian based brother was on the coast for the weekend so instead of night one at the base of the Bunya Mountains we found ourselves spending it in Mooloolaba.
We’ve now headed West to Yarraman and have unhitched “The Mystery Machine” (The Van) from ScoobieDo (Our Subaru Outback) at the Yarraman Caravan Park and are doing a bit of a run around some of the local caches.
Heading up this side road after a bit of a hiccough with the Garmin and the in car nav system both trying to send us off road but found a turn off and eventually both devices agreed we were heading the right way. This one showed on the Garmin but wasn’t on the list, we pulled over and Mrs R-F made a quick find without hints, clues or even a hand held to aid her. As it turned out it was on the list but after the next cache up the track.
The hide is excellent, the container is in good nick and the log is ready for the next finder.
We took nothing but memories, we left nothing but footprints and our tag.
Thanks for the cache youngoldfella (We’re back into the caching game, look forward to finding more of your hides).
Cheers

Travelling around Australia and now super excited to be finally starting our trek to the Easter Geocaching Event at Alice Springs.
Staying longer than initially planned in Nanago as the GeoCruiser has been at the Toyota Doctors.
With the Cruiser back on the road we decided to make today about testing it out to the extremes before we tow our house further North. Pleased to report all seems good.
Had a great day touring and mostly visiting Yarraman and surrounds, using Geocaching as a guide. Only 2 DNF's and 1 was definitely muggled so is that only 1 dnf [?] [:o)] lol.
TFTC youngoldfella and an awesome day.

Decided to go for a drive today with the GeoWife and clean up a few green icons along the way. Plenty of fun finds and great caches. Thank you for placing the caches to be found. Tftc
After spending the last few weeks settling in to my new abode and being domestic and stuff like that. Decided that I had to get back to doing what I like best Geo Caching. So I set out on a mini road trip to explore my new surrounds and hopefully pick a few caches along the way. Thanks for bringing me here
Ha, ha. Not many options around here but a nice quick find is what I was hoping for as it was starting to get dark. Oh I wish we had daylight saving so it wouldn't get dark until 8pm instead of 7pm. We could do so much more as a family then, doing something, I'm not sure what, but, say, geocaching perhaps, lol. Don't really want to get up at 4:15 when it gets light to do it, so the extra hour at night would be wonderful. Sorry, I'm rambling.......... Found the cache and signed the log gratefully. Thanks youngoldfella
Time for us to head for home after attending Nanango's first event.
However we still have time to find one or two more on the way.
We took the quick detour off onto this road to grab this one and the next one at the end of this road.
As we pulled up we were lucky enough to see a flock of Currawongs enjoying the shade of the tree at GZ.

Today was my first ever visit to the historic Burnett region, heading to lovely Nanango for the first event held there. Of course, there were plenty of caches to be found along the way .
Made a little side trip for this one, and took a moment to enjoy the view across the valley. Nice to find a few Ammo tins on this trip.
This cache adds to our total of 1954 smilies. Thanks youngoldfella for showing us this spot.
Feel free to discover our trackable code TGQNRV

Dutchie1950 and I are on a 3-day getaway and our main objective is to attend youngoldfella's Event tomorrow morning in Nanango [^] Today we are taking it very leisurely, and turning a 2 hour trip into a 6 hour adventure. And after a scrumptious lunch at the bakery in Blackbutt [^] we decided to pass through Yarraman (think we shall spend a few hours there tomorrow ) and collect the caches northwards to Nanango.
Bumbles took the dirt road in her stride (she is good at straddling ditches ) and we made a quick find. Nice to see an ammo can here. TFTC, youngoldfella.
