Thanks for the hide. Found 10mt out but right where the hint said it would be. Enjoying doing this series and hope to find the final.
We looked long and thoroughly at a spot but didn't find it, then had another look at a different tree and yep there it was! Was quite off the GZ. TFTC
Decided to do a caching run to Albany and stay overnight and cache on the way home. Our aim was to pick up as many as possible including multi,s and puzzle caches that the hubby had solved. Most caches were found quickly with a few that took a bit of searching to find. A big thanks to all the CO,S for placing the caches for us and everyone else to find.
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Looked at previous logs. Searched further afield. Found cache. Was tempted to put it at it where my GPS said gsm was, but left it at the found location, some 9 metres from GZ. Thanks 35DegreesSouth for the hide.
Found cache 13meters from gz on my gps and under a Western Australian Christmas Tree. Found via clue.
Finding a couple of caches while spending the holiday in Albany.
Quick park and grab, TFTH.

Definitely easier to access from the footpath.
GPS and compass pointed in opposite direction. Had to use the hint.

A nice hide here and thankfully we had no trouble adding our name to the log book. TFTC .

Did this series several weeks ago and forgot to log. Enjoyed the walk around the village.
Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.
Thanks 35DegreesSouth for placing this cache.

Found by Mary & David, in convoy with The Coffees, Alansee and micaparamedic (sometimes logged as a variation of C.A.M.M.), at 1035. Sorry that time is against us or we could do more here. Busselton is beckoning. Our thanks to 35DegreesSouth.
Out and about for the day heading towards the WA goes big event and this cache was on the way.
Our thanks to 35Degreessouth for the cache another interesting cache we have enjoyed.

A quick stroll from the information bay.
And a good few metres away from the busy road,
I found a quiet spot to search for a cache
I read the notes and guessed which tree would have come from NZ
I guessed right !!?? I think, 'cos there was a cache there
But what is an endemic species to NZ doing here in the wilds of the South West ??

after a morning of 4wding we thought we would grab a few caches on the way back into town. TFTC
Oh for the time to have just to walk some of these trails! - but not today. A quick find though not where the GPS took me. SL. Thanks to 35DegreesSouth for the cache.
Made note of co-ords recorded by StamStars and made a quick find. Thanks 35DegreesSouth
Found at 3:24 PM GAFF1 at a distance of about 6 metres.
We didn't want to disturb the vegetation around here too much, but as the GPSr wasn't being too precise, we had no option but to go here there and everywhere until c-pprass found it in a very safe location.
Wonder why the hall had to be moved - and all of that distance
Thanks 35DegreesSouth.

Changed the afternoon to traditional caching. It was some great weather in Albany today and no better way to spend it. TFTH TFTC
Maybe I should have read the previous logs and the hint Before attempting this cache, but after a good amount of hunting around the wrong trees, we finally found the cache approx 9m from GZ - closer to .499 and .669 - grabbed the needed number and went along our merry way

I was really thrown by the reference to a NZ Christmas tree, but then figured the cache owner was probably a kiwi. They consider Australia to be the forth island... My understanding is that Nuytsia Floribunda is commonly know as the AUSTRALIAN Christmas tree.
TFTC.12.15. From Perth to Melbourne is our last vacation journey in Australia, along this route, we look for caches. Greetings from the Netherlands
While in Albany visiting family we went for a drive through some history. This one needed some further looking by 8 metres. Thanks for the cache
Found after reading the hint as my GZ was the other side of the mentioned items

Out and about showing Mistraluna the delights of Albany and picking up a few caches I had never got round to finding. Thanks for the fun.
Another glorious day, with so many more caches just waiting to be found around the Albany area. Stopped to grab the caches in this little series on our way out to grab the last of the WA Explorers. The most memorable part of Elleker (now that I am home again) was seeing the little house that was used in the Lockie Leonard series - can tell my students about that once I am back at school.
Found this cache after scratching our heads over the hint. The trees around gz are NOT New Zealand Christrmas Trees - they are in fact Nuytsia floribunda, a hemiparasitic plant found in Western Australia and known locally as the Christmas Tree.
Thanks for the smileys 35DegreesSouth

Stopped in to grab the cache while picking up the ones on the LD Road, THTC
TFTC! Picked up this geo whilst on a drive to Denmark via Torbay on the scenic tourist track. Came here after another elleker cache. Thanks
Heading to Denmark for the afternoon. GPS gave me a bum steer for a while, resorted to the hint and found the right ones.
Heading towards Albany today and we really should have continued on but after checking the great camp spot at Cosy Corner we couldnt resist an overnighter here. So we parked the van up and left the cat there before going off to explore(cache)
Wow a full blown cricket match with spectators and everything. We parked elsewhere and Mr Felix walked to GZ and made the find collected the info.

This was our 1st cache find in a caching run of 8 Finds & 0 DNFs today.
We found it at 08:32 so this now makes our total find count 8017.
[blue]We cached with The Drovers again today. Now that we have (almost) done all the Denmark caches, we decided to look eastward from our camp site.
An excellent spot to drop a TB.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (We found the cache around 10m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.

Another morning caching with Ian and Penny, around Elleker.
All were easy find, and we collected the clues for the final.
Many thanks for the hunt today, 35DegreesSouth.

This one took a while as both GPS had us at the wrong Christmas tree. There were signs of others looking for the cache around the base of the tree but nothing could be found and we feared the worse. Ian then read the clue and realized we were looking in the wrong spot, a slight back track and the cache was soon in hand.
thanks
thanks
Found as the last one of the series. We have really enjoyed learning about the history of Elleker, so thanks 35DegreesSouth for placing caches throughout the area.
Backtracked back to the hall for a walk down to this cache. Another easy find for us. Christmas trees are still in flower and look beautiful. TFTC
