Well Im back in Perth for another week of work and as Im a creature of habit and routine, I race back to the hotel, get change and tackle the area Ive eyeballed during the day. As light becomes an issue and the fact Im without transport, I need to stay somewhat local , so tonight I headed to my old stomping area where I lived for 10yrs.Picked up the lab caches on the ferry and then made my way through familiar streets picking up a few smiliesLogs signed and caches returned safely to the hiding places. I found and signed this cache last October during a fantastic trip to visit Perth and my daughter who moved there about eight months previously. I hired an electric bike and while she was at work or busy doing other things I zoomed around the city collecting caches and enjoying the sights. It was only a week, i cant wait to come back. I am Sure the neighbours are starting to wonder Im up after several visits. There has always been people around so I couldnt go walking through the garden to dick my fingers in strange places. Returned the next morning in a rare quiet moment I just went for it found the prize and addled my name. I specially found a cache today so I can log once I write my lost with one more being a wild card.

After a wonderful weekend in Perth catching a couple of shows , shopping , running errands , consuming lots of fine dining and of course fitting in a bit of geocaching whenever time and circumstances permitted. Sunday we just had a few hours to spare before we needed to head back to Bunbury. We decided to head to South Perth, starting with a lovely walk along the foreshore collecting caches and Adventure Labs along the way . It was great to see so many muggles making the most of the fabulous spring weather out and about undertaking lots of different activities in this beautiful area. We had a productive three hours geocaching collecting in total 5 Ad Labs , 3 challenge caches , 3 multis caches , 5 traditional caches . This is our seventh cache find of the day along with a near by Adventure Lab . We had ascertained we qualified for this challenge cache some time ago but today is the first real opportunity to collect it. I’m visiting from Brisbane for a few days while my husband is working here. The last time I was in Perth was in 1990. Today I walked 19km finding 18 mostly targeted caches and some ALs.
Signed log and will need to check if I qualify.

It seems I almost qualify for this challenge, perhaps the hardest part is to get to the location to actually sign the log. Making the most of life’s opportunities, or indeed creating said opportunities, is part of the fun!

Well that took a while for Project GC to think it through…. I found 23 of the 26 required caches.

The quest has begun, game on!

Last day in Perth before flying home to Brisbane. Needing to find a few challenge caches required for a challenge in Qld, I had a few hours to find them then make my way to the airport.

After my dnf earlier I found hubbys hi vis vest in the boot so used it to try and be stealthy while looking. A thorough search and finally located this cache.

Thanks for the hide team richlink. Nice little park. I’m sure I qualify for this one I just have to find my list and post later.

After uni in the morning, a site visit in Maylands in the afternoon, and caching on the way home, I stopped for a pizza at a favourite place in Vic Park. Took it down to the foreshore nearby to eat it as the sun was setting. Afterwards, while dusk was still upon us, I deviated to nab this cache. Cheers!

In WA for a three day caching trip with phlphotos. A quicker day today travelling down from Geraldton to Perth finishing off the day finding several challenge caches. We don't often get around to doing puzzles or challenges but this was in the area so we looked it up.
We met the criteria and have added the text copy/paste of the TXT file for proof. Not that you really need it but it ticks the boxes.
Thanks for the diversion from our day to day life.

We used the link to GC to check if we qualified. All good so we have logged the cache.

It might be noted that some of the cache names are legends.
ClydeE the guy that makes the main program that everyone uses for geocaching....GSAK is in our list.
Clint and Alan(became Nissan). 2 nice guys that just missed out on being the first cache hiders in WA.
Sue and Ian...great friends and geocachers.

We went to the zoo today with some of the grandkids and this one was nearby. I found I qualified for it so it was a quick stop on the way home. It took longer to get the children off the nearby playground equipment to leave. - "just one more slide grandad - please."

richlink SVKR_WA found your cache Cacher Challenge #3 - ABC = 26 hiders today at 14:22:25 15 Jul 2018.

I am happy to have found it and thank you for placing it and adding to this great game.

This find brings my find count to 3098

Tricky not to look suspicious after school hrs, but I took a few pics of flowers and made the grab and replacement quickly. Signed the log today.

I do not yet qualify for this, but am just missing a couple of letters. Will have to keep my eyes open for those!

Had a work trip to Perth this week and prior to leaving I had researched our qualification for this. MrNZT assisted with the search for a cacher starting with "Q" as I was determined to not use the wild card! His methodical search through our finds paid off and he was quite proud of himself for finding the elusive Q Moto!
So after a 7 hour flight from Auckland on Sunday I grabbed the rental car and made use of the new time zone to grab a few caches. Happily I found this cache quite quickly at GZ, found all but one of the Perth caches I had planned to get. Many thanks to the Perth CO's for a caching sight seeing tour of the city! TFTC!

The hard part about this challenge was making sure that each CO had a least 10 finds. I was able to check that they did and now attach my screen grab. This was a very quick find. TFTC

Finally made a trip to Perth in the school holidays to put some smilees on the map. We have written a note previously to show we qualify for this cache.

When I was driving up to GZ I noticed a large area fenced-off for works and thought I might have to pass on this one. However, to much relief I found that GZ was readily accessible outside the fenced area and a quick find was made.

This evening we went to look for the cache. Despite accurate coordinates it still too a few minutes of hinting before the cache was located - there were many potential hiding spots. Thanks richlink for the challenge and for the cache.

We found out we qualified for this challenge back when it was first published & have attempted to make a find a couple of times but muggles have always been present After attending the Pirate Event at Applecross, we found a few treasures around this area & this one was up on top of my must find list! There were muggles everywhere again & with the kids in tow I was not leaving until I had our name in the logbook... They were most happy as they got to play on the playground for ages whilst I outwaited the muggles. Eventually I signed & returned the logbook before trying to lure the kids from the swings

Thanks for the challenge Richlink Cache was in good condition. The playground is going to be upgraded in the near future, but it looks like GZ will remain.

School hols and looking for a project, saw this and found we qualify to find this cache, now for a road trip to Perth. Not sure when that will be, although checking the Challenge Caches, we do happen to qualify for a few way up there in Perth. Maybe something to look forward to at WAGoes Big in September, that will be an ideal time to put a smiley on this cache. Here is the list before I loose it.

For no real reason other than 'we wanted to', Net88 and I are visiting Perth and surrounds for a week of adventures. And this is about as far from home as I can get on the Australian continent! Just shy of 3610 kilometres from home to this GZ! We had flown in very late last night, and today we were out on foot to grab an eventual 24 finds, with well over 30,000 steps mostly targeting some choice geocache listings.

To be specific, we're starting our day in Como walking in a huge loop for a healthy array of offerings. And we are without a car, so chose to take the train. We headed to Elizabeth Quay, and caught the train down to Canning Bridge Station to begin heading north before we eventually cross Canning Bridge.

Comer, the Coode, then Hensman Streets was our long route to walk here today. It was still bloody hot out, but at least this challenge we both already qualified for (and easily, so many options on every letter). And as we passed a pharmacy en-route we finally invested in some sunscreen. At GZ, It was Net who had a good idea where this one might be hidden and a quick grab was made while nobody was watching.

We retired to the nearby bench for a good long sit, sign and wait for the tennis muggles that had appeared to get into cars and kindly leave. This was nice though, as we were in the shade and not on our feet. Happy days to mark off another smiley on a challenge. Thanks for this geocache, richlink My qualifying list is below:

Captain Terror and I were spending the week in Perth. I had wanted to visit WA for quite some time, it is the last Australian state/territory for me to visit. We had made a list of geocaches that we wanted to find and this cache had made the list. Captain Terror and I both rather enjoy working towards challenges and we own a few ourselves so this cache was a must. This was the seventh cache for our huge day of 24 caches and 31331 steps.

We had caught the train down to Canning Bridge Station and were making our way around a loop we created. It was hotter than we anticipated and our walk wasn't very shady so we bought some sunscreen on the way to this cache. When we arrived at GZ we started searching, I had an idea of where it might be and I was right! That almost never happens! We signed our names whilst sitting nearby and waited for all the tennis muggles to get into their cars before replacing. Thanks for the cache Richlink

Seemed to have missed this one, I signed the log a number of months ago after meeting the requirements but for some reason it was never logged on line. My Q can be regarded as a wildcard as this hider does not have 10 finds to their name only the one hide. It was included to satisfy my idea of a complete A-Z list. When I started to look for the challenge I only has two letters remaining Q and X. It turns out there are not many options available but luckily they were fairly local.

Thursdays I finish work a tad earlier which mean more time for caching. This cache has been on my to do list since finally finishing my list last month finding my Y hiders cache. Was a nice quick find once at GZ and I feel a great accomplishment in achieving this cache. TFTC and Challenge richlink

Great challenge that took me to parts of Perth that I rarely get to! I thought that I qualified for this a while back as I was only missing a "Y" hider, until I realised that my "Q" hider didn't qualify... A few days ago I finally got to my missing "Y" hider and I am now using Q as my wild card. The list is attached as a picture. Thank you for the challenge and for the cache richlink.

A morning of finding challenge caches and a puzzle or two. Most caches found fairly easily.
Challenge caches are a favourite for me and I hope they bring them back. Thanks for placing.

Attempted while on a short Perth holiday with CT_ZA.
I qualified easily enough for the challenge, but muggles around GZ meant searching opportunities were limited when we were there.

Finally got my Q and using the wildcard for Y made a detour to grab this cache. Hidden in the one spot without spider webs. TFTC+C.

I grabbed this one reasonably quickly after circling GZ once . No muggles here at this time of morning which I was grateful for . My qualifying list will be uploaded later tonight. I used X as my wildcard for this challenge

With the weather starting to get a bit better and the days lengthening out, I headed away from home early this morning to grab some smileys on the way to work. This was one of the targets for the day!

Yes,

Hired a scooter and was running around in Perth doing caching. It was a interesting tour from Scarborough to Freemantle towards downtown and then back to Scarborough. Saw fields, was almost run down by container trucks, got remarks on my driving from 2 cars. It is quite easy to drive on the left side also, but sometimes you look the wrong way in the crossings. Was chasing around to find TB's also but no luck at all in Perth.

Took and excerpt from software Project-GC and the Challenge checker for the Swedish cache GC44YPC which is very similar. Missing is letter Q so as wildcard we choose cache GC4DNZ9 with is placed by kristabelQ&Lionking8991 in Singapore. Found by me 2015-02-05.

This one was a bit trickier than I thought - realised I needed an X and a Y to complete this one and it took a while to find ones that fitted the bill. With a bit of a nudge by a fellow cacher, I found the two missing parts fairly close to each other (and the final) although quite a distance from where I live. Anyway, opportunity presented itself today and I managed to get the pesky X and Y sorted and then a quick park and grab at the final GZ. Thanks for this puzzle, I enjoyed reminiscing about old finds.
