Went out this morning and I could not remove the lid as it was tightly cross threaded. New container and log book in place. Geocachers who found it yesterday I have added their names to the new log book. Please do not cross thread the lid and please do not over tighten the lid. I had to cut the collar off the original container so I can reuse the pipe. All good.
TFTC- it was located but unfortunately we could not get it open to sign log- photo was taken.
Out caching with KabbellaQld and Danielle46 signed as KTD ,quick easy find this cache just wouldnt budge was unable to get into it ,put back covered this time tftc
On arrival at this site, we were surprised to find an uncovered, very large cache that was visible from the road. We re-covered it carefully when we left. However, after spending half an hour attempting to open it, using multiple tools from the car that had worked on an earlier cache, we had to admit defeat. The lid just would not budge. We took a photo as proof that we found it and the CO has been informed. We had an enjoyable day caching around the area. Tftc
Tftc, Found while on holiday in yandaran and driving to the beach. The area has been cleared from vegetation and many trees are down around gz.
I detoured from the TAF trail to find a few trads. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Today we headed out to find a few of the T.A.F. caches but have decided to do a detour to Baffle Creek as many years ago we were interested in buying a property here. We ended up buying a place in FNQ. We had only seen this area on the internet so it was great to come and see it in reality.
We have started what we are calling Stage 1 of the TAF caches, over the last few days we have solved the very easy puzzles. Today we have found that all the cache co-ords are very good, a huge thanks for this and for placing this series for us to enjoy goes to the CO. We do say we found ourselves going up and down and around in our travels, all cache containers are in excellent condition and all have some swag for the little ones to enjoy.
On our journey we collected three TB’s.

Christmas Trip 2020 was a blast! 2 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs towing a camper trailer visiting lots of places in the Queensland Outback. Started Cooroy, staying in Dalby, Nindigully Pub, Charlotte Plains Station, Charleville, Roma, Emerald, Rockhampton and then Yandaran for Christmas before heading home. 4600 kilometers in two and a half weeks with lots of caches in between (well as many as I was allowed to).
All caches were found with ease and in good condition unless stated otherwise, thank you to all the cache owners for placing these caches, especially the ones in remote areas that were great to stop, stretch the legs, and get another smiley.
Camped just up the road at Norval Park and had to run into Bundy to grab some phone reception and supplies for the Christmas break (it's hard when you've only got 78 litres to store all your cold stuff in and you still want cold drinks!). Had to find these two down the road and I was grateful for a nice easy find on both. Pens are all still there.
Merry Christmas all! Be safe on the roads!
Thanks for the cache **youngoldfella**

TFTC. We are Housesitting in Bundaberg for the next few months. On previous visits we have nearly cleared the town of caches. We decided today to venture further afield mainly to collect the required jewels for the Museum Heist promotion. A great day 26 attempted for 26 finds. All in good order and relatively quick to finds.
On me tour of the area today,
I headed out from Yandaran to find this cache's resting spot
Hmmm ??
Not a cemetery in sight !! [:o]
I did find where the cache had been interred
TFTC
I took "Fred the Fish" TB with me

On a 3 day geocaching binge around Bundy, plus an out and return to the tunnel and a couple of other "to do list caches"
Today is going to be spent chasing the ones on the north side of the river.
Got the cache, but missed everything else particularly the cryptic bit
Thanks John

With our caravan parked at the new CMCA ground at Bundaberg we decided to get this group of caches that were north of town. We enjoyed the variety of hides and looking at these small rural communities. Thankyou youngoldfella for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Actually beat Bundy Birder to find this cache, took nothing but dropped Trackable. Nice cache
Out birding today with friend who wanted to learn about geocaching.
Took a run out to Norval Park and was glad to find a cache big enough to drop off TB.
Thanks for cache Youngoldfella.
Everything nice and dry and in good order.

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
We survived last nights storm, however our caravan park has no power 24hours later. What a day touring the area and seeing the damage to the trees in the area. That was one powerful, but quick storm.
Nice to be able to tour the area going from cache to cache.

Camped at Binnowee Bush Camp and plotted out a drive for the day, with Youngoldfella as my guide. In total, we found 15/15 caches and travelled 108km, had morning tea, lunch and a swim.
Thanks for being our guide YOF. This was an easy find.

Up this way maintaining and checking on a few of my hides. This one all good. Have fun.
Another amazing cache with so many wonderful goodies inside, and the location for parking was brilliant, cache in great condition considering how much rain we have had
2:28:00 PM. Leavimg Agnes Waters this morning heading to Bundaberg with our caravan in tow we decided to take in some sights on the way and pick up a few caches as well. Found and signed log. A great sized cache. Thanks youngoldfella for placing this cache.
Didn't get the hint? Maybe just us? Anyway signed the log & off we go again. Tried to buy a coffee in Yandaran and they had run out of coffee beans! Had an ice cream instead TFTC
[font=Comic Sans MS]Hi there youngoldfella. We found your cache "Taking a Long Rest" at 11:40:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11214.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area today. Thanks for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. For over ten years we have watched the quality of caches get steadily worse and worse. Once upon a time caches seemed to be "regular" sized, and well stocked with goodies for kids to swap. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this cache in a "special" place.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around EXACTLY where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.

Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards

The things we do. In Bundaberg for the weekend, and decided to drive the 206kms round trip to pick up a few caches like this one - very specific distances from my home (for a challenge cache of course). Lovely drive up here, and a very pretty little township. Cheers.
Thanks for placing this cache, youngoldfella. Found in good condition.

In Bundaberg to check on and maintain my hides. This one will soon need a new log sheet so I have left one with the other sheet. All good with this one. Left two new pens. Please bring your own just in case these go missing.
Thought this was going to be a cemetery going by the name. The headstone hunters in the car were a bit disappointed but not me as I quickly found the cache and logged my visit. tftc youngoldfella
Thought by the cache name that we may have been looking for a cache near a cemetery! We saw quite a few beehives on the way for which we are thankful as we do love honey! Another well stocked cache with plenty of goodies for geokids to enjoy - we added a few more too as we like to in these larger cache containers. Some passing traffic but not a problem. We were enoying the caches' tour!

Parked about 70 metres down the road on opposite side where we thought would be safer...def got some odd looks from people driving by....but then again I currently do have bright pink hair!!!
After leaving the caravan at the free rest spot, we went off to locate a few caches.
This was a nice big container with lots of swaps.
Thanks for bringing us to this cache youngoldfella.

I am conducting an experiment and the only way I can do this with my own caches is this way. There are not the number of other hiders caches within 200kml radius of my home. The experiment will run from 24/12 till after Easter 2014 and it will involve in part having to find some of my own caches as I do not want to drive over 300klms every week to get the result I am looking for. I am also using a different GPSr to that used to set up these hides. Now using my brand new Magellan 710. Experiment not going as well as I was expecting. I do realise that it is frowned upon to find your own caches but sometimes one just has to let any comments come and go.
Easy find once I spread my search as my co-ords were a bit off about 8mtrs.Makes it easy when a clue is added, Thanks John
*FTF*
My 7th FTF for the day. Found at 1430.
Great effort I thought, DNF on one new cache, a bit tired and a long drive home on completion.
And missed one that I had forgot I put in the GPS,
All good with the caches. Great cache containers and plenty of good swaps for Kids and Kids at heart
