What a pain! fixed up two of my caches down this way, and was up to this one when I found that two magnets wouldn't fit, and one wasn't strong enough. I left the good strong magnet at home. Hmm. I will return...

21/04/14. 8:01 AM. And, we're back to the DNFs again; I was now up to 3 finds and 3 DNFs and the morning didn't get much better after that (5 out of 9 finds in total). Came here after a finding Road Ends. A couple of muggles and their dog were walking along the wharf at the same time as me, but they didn't stay long. Once I had the end to myself, I got down low but couldn't see anything obvious. I didn't bother to stay long; I don't have a good track record with wharf caches and I'm starting to detest micros all over again. On to watch out next.

Convinced my friend who brought me to his cottage here at Killcare to go geocaching with me. It was his first time and he quite enjoyed it. This was our first find. Creative hide! Had me stumped for a minute! Thanks!

TFTC.

Along with my new Australian geocache friend today some cache wanted This was clear on which he stood but where exactly yet.
Just think about the hint helped us a little further and it was my colleague who found him.
TFTC.

Got ice-creams from the general store and wandered down the wharf, but had trouble with my iPhone so couldn't check the details of the cache. There were fisher-muggles ("fuggles"?) at the end of the wharf anyway. Hope to come back another time. For anyone who might be there reading this, make sure you suss out the tree near the entry to the wharf - you'll understand which tree when you see it. Cheers!

My 11th cache for the day. Found this whilst fishing...two hobbies at once! Caught a really small fish, too. TFTC. Nice hiding.

My mid-week ploy payed off, as the jetty was muggle-free when I arrived. Quickly located the cache, signed the log and made sure to put it back the correct way up Smile. Thanks for a great hide!

Nice hide.
I expected this location to be much busier at 11:30 on a saturday...
maybe the heat and footy finals had kept everyone indoors.

although once i had it in my hand, i realized why it was so hard to recover...
the previous hider had put it back with the extraction device on the wrong end. so it was out of reach.
finaly constructed a device from discarded bamboo, gaffer tape, an old light bulb, and 15 gallons of aviation fuel ( thanks MaCgyver). and extracted the container.

i was then interrupted by a family who were trying to drown their poor dog, by making him chase a stick off the end of the wharf and retrieve it.
eventually the dog showed some sense ,gave up, and swam back to the beach, and the family all trudged off dissappointed.
i was then able to return the container in the correct orientation for the next hunter to retrieve a bit easier.
Please make sure you put the cache back the right way up!
thanks for the cache.

Went to look for it but a family of fishermuggles had taken up residence right at GZ, so will come back in a couple of weeks when I have some time off work midweek.

11-Sep-13
The area near GZ was empty so I had a good look around and soon saw what I had to do. It gave me more trouble than expected, but at last I was logging and on the long walk back to the car. Thanks for a great hide, enjoyed it.
