Over from perth western Australia and this was our last day in town before we leave early in the morning for the long drive home. Headed out this morning to grab a few more caches. Did the OSH series which is in need of a maintenance check as a lot of the log books are choka block full. We picked up the other caches nearby then headed back into town to get the wherigo, a puzzle cache and a few other traditionals nearby. All caches were found with a few that took a bit of searching. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches for us and others to find.
Took a little longer than expected as we ended up finding it covered in dirt on the ground. Signed the log and returned it to where we thought it may have been for a 2.5 D. Tftc
TFTC 2449# out and about finishing some caches with muggle sister and geo dogs who are not allowed into some areas to geocache how sad as this has spoiled my caching in Alice Springs
An early start from Alice Springs had us ready and rearing to go at 7:40 am to commence our morning of caching. N.O.A.S. 50 was our starting point and we headed south. We wanted to smash our former daily record (which had only recently been established as part of the Red Centre Experience over Easter). We knew we were in with a good chance. Just the N.O.A.S. series would have blown the numbers skywards, and yet we grabbed a few of the older caches as well. Thank you to all of the cache owners for your amazing efforts.

This was first find for the day today as we headed North to do the NOAS series. Thanks to redcentredazza not just for this hide, but for all you do for caching in Alice and surrounds.
Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about so I targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!
Thanks redcenterdazza for placing this cache.

Found on our Red Centre Experience. After parking at GZ, it was a surprisingly quick find - however, what we loved about this cache was how quiet it was. No cars, no wind, no lifeforms, nothing. It was so peaceful signing this log and it was great to finally hear the sounds of desert silence. Some unexpected serenity at this cache. TFTC redcenterdazza!
Tice (Team Ice: laalaa, J&T., Hiltsu and kapeka) in Australia. Sun was shining and we had fun. Today we drove North of Alice Springs.
Thanks for the cache.

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

First find for Easter Sunday, nearly had us beaten, but Muggle Hubby found this deviously hidden little devil.

Greatings from New Zealand, in Alice attending the rather large event and teamed up with CJ-Curry, Hevic, zuse7, granvillle86a and dghoff. For most of the caches we found today we signed as TTSS (Trans Tasman Swiss Squad). Apologies for the mainly generic logs.
We started out deciding to stop only for the caches on the left hand side of the road as we tackled those on the northern section of Stuart Highway, this was our first stop of the day and was the most difficult to retrieve as it required tools we had to go back to the car far. TFTC

On Day Three of the epic adventure Hevic and I had throughout Alice Springs, we teamed up with a handful of other cachers to take on the Stuart Highway north of the town. We signed the majority of our logs as **TTSS** - the **Trans-Tasman Swiss Squad** comprising myself, Hevic, yorkshirekiwi83, zuse7, granville86a, and dghoffy. I'm glad to say that we did not have a single DNF and made it all the way to the end. zuse7, granville86a and I even had races to most of the caches, and I think granville came out more-or-less on top. Thanks Squad!
Thanks to redcenterdazza for placing this cache - a fairly straightforward one for seven pairs of eyes (or rather, hands). Cheers!

Day 3 of our Alice Adventure, and what a day it was! We joined up with yorkshirekiwi83, zuse7, granville86a, and dghoffy and began signing as the TTSS to save a bit of time. As I was driving, i had very little luck at group FTF, when you're in charge of the vehicle you can't throw your seatbelt off and jump out as readily as the passengers can!
In Alice for the Easter Event and truly enjoying it! Some cachers / cacherteams met and teamed up as TTSS (Trans Tasman Swiss Squad) for what proved to be another great day. This guardrail cache was the first find of the day. Some more were to follow.
Thanks a lot for the hide, redcenterdazza

Found with dghoffy, Hevic, C J Curry and Zuse7, YorkshireKiwi83 as Team T.T.S.S. (Trans Tasman Swiss Squad) to save time doing all the logging. We headed north today picking up all the NOAS series and a few others. Thanks to all the cache owners for the placements.
Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.
All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!
We spent three days caching around Alice Springs. This is so different area than bushy flat desert around it. Lots of beautiful places to see. Truly Red Centre Experience for us.

In a convoy of cachers, in the company of Geoturtle, Papillon, Micaparamedic, Sully1 & Sharkiefan. Using an acronym to sign so we don't take up too much space in the log. TFTC
Decided to spend the day with minniek and nibletricecakes grabbing lots of the caches up the highway and out to Gemtree. This was the first of many and I got back to our camp at the Red Centre Experience absolutely exhausted.

Day 3 in Alice and the day was mostly spent north on the Stuart Highway or very close by - being Good Friday the highway had little traffic except for lots of caching cars. Thanks to all the COs for the wonderful hides and showing us around your lovely city.

Here in Alice Springs for the Red Centre Event. Out with Geo-friends going here and going there finding all the hidden caches. Had a great time locating. Apologies for the generic log, however due to the number of caches found, this was the best way to log. To all the CO a big thank you, it was a memorable time visiting Alice Springs and the surrounding areas. TFTC
Found by Mary & David, in convoy with pprass and NurseHayley, at 0849. Today we cached our way along the NOAS trail, then east on the Plenty Highway to Gemtree. Signed logs as MNP after signing with our full caching names for a while. Caches were all found with good coordinates and in good condition. Met a couple of other cachers while we were here. Our thanks to redcenterdazza.
Had a wonderful day in Alice collecting a few puzzles, traditionals, and an earth cache shared the day with 4 other caching teams, but met lots more along the way from all over the world thank you to all the cos! Another amazing day

Towards the end of the day as the group got smaller we had a run out north to collect the puzzles plus a few other ones time and light permitting. We arrived and knew the type of hide but had to look twice to spot the cache. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Looking over at the rail line we saw a Dingo heading along the line as we assume there are no foxes out here and the tail was not that bushy. Found as part of our visit to the Red Centre Experience Event 2017

Out and about with fellow cachers (team ASB) enjoying the beautiful landscape and getting many happy faces in the area. Many thanks for the placement.
This is a memorable day because the following day was my birthday and after a hard day of caching at the event I was one of eight people lucky enough to get our own cake which was quickly consumed by our geocaching friends hehe!
Beautiful day and a great day of caching in Alice Springs.
Many thanks to those who placed all the caches for us to enjoy over the last week.
