The cache is still there. Coordinates are a bit off, but the clue made it easy to work out. The container was very wet. Unable to sign the log, because it's too soggy. Otherwise, a good cache for the kids to find today.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

This cache has needed maintenance since 2013... The cache needs TLC & co-ordinates are not within the acceptable range from GZ... Please fix this cache or archive for someone else to place a cache here.
Thanks, J&J.

#2235 - Found by B on a sunny day after cycling up from Perth and setting up camp. Located 17 metres southwards towards the fence. All part of the fun and challenges on our AroundOz bicycle tour via the highest peak in each State and mainland Territory.

Is the owner still around? Happy to take onership of this one if need be?.
Anyone got a gps reading of its new location?.
Anyone got a gps reading of its new location?.
GPS jumping around and so not surprised that I couldn't dint it prior to reading hint, then very surprised motto find it after getting the hint. Lift fading and half a lake to go so I had to give up.
This cache has had 10 calls for maintenance so far... The container is far from water proof & wet, but also nowhere near GZ & the co-ordinates need to be updated.
Please attend to these issues or archive the cache to save future hunters wasting there time here. Thanks CacheCrafter13

Headed out with the kids for a bit of a bike ride... And of this was one of the caches we found on the way! After searching for some time, decided to read back in the logs to find the cache is nowhere near GZ This cache needs some attention & co-ords should be updated.

Found after a bit of searching. In the words of Mr Lucas-White "the log is cactus". Most definitely not in the drain pipe. Damp and mouldy.
Seeing the comments below I can see why we failed to find.
Ah well it was a lovely walk on a winters day the lake was pretty.

TFTC! Only managed to find it after reading the previous posts. The cache is very wet & mouldy. Managed to leave our mark on a dry piece of the log. Needs maintenance. Nice area
This cache desperately needs maintenance. Clue and co-ordinates not correct for current hide and log too sodden to sign.
Found it. Not at the location as others have mentioned. Found via good luck, rather than good planning.
Needs the location updated on the main page and the Cache repaired/replaced. It's very wet. Nice spot though.

Finished work early today and drove up the hill for a spot of Friday arvo caching around Chidlow. Did a loop around the lake first.
Quick find after reading about the cache being moved slightly. TFTC

Found after a great deal of searching as the co-ordinates and Clue are not correct and now looking at the various logs it appears not to have been in the drain pipe for some while. Look for an alternative hide nearby and you should find. Having found it we then were unable to sign it as it was too sodden!
Cache is very wet. Paper can't be written on. Look for fallen log on higher ground.
Out Chidlow way for catching up with friends at Lake Leschanaultia. I got there early to pick out all the spares that I havent done since I last came.
Last of the day.
Used a hint from previos logs and muggle friend came up with the goods.

Further along the track we went. Got to gz but coords were a wee bit dodgey, clouds, trees, dropbears, who knows. Read the logs and did a bit of adjusting and had our hands on it tftc. BigBadBev did score an unopened corona stubbie, one had been recently spilt at the drain pipe so clearly other cachers were on the job as well.
Yes, it's still there. Couldn't find it a year ago in the original spot but tried out the new coordinates from July 2014. Those given coords might be subject to some slight typographical errors, but if you try S 31 51.529, E 116 14.812 you should get to within about 3m of the new location. Look under the fallen log.
I'd love to know where the original hiding spot was ...

Cache is MIA. Placing a cache in a drain is not a good idea. the first time you get a good water flow the cache will be washed away. i look under as many logs and under trees in the area but could not find any trace of the cache.
Cache is not at the given coordinates. Somebody has moved it but the coordinates provided do not make any sense. We tried different variations but between 400m and 900m of GZ so we quit our search and moved on to the next one. Time for some CO interaction.
S31 510.259 E116 14.812
We found the cache out in the open and full of water. Not knowing where it should have been and not finding any shelter at the published coordinates, it is now hidden at the above coordinates out of the rain in the shelter of a log. Seems it needs some CO maintenance.

I was up here today for the ATTA Panther Trophy, a MTB time trial race, and today I was flying solo which gave me time for caching before and after the event.
After the race I went for a ride around the lake, which was going great until I DNF'd at wyvern, and then couldn't find this one either. The GPS was pointing me at the middle of the road in between the 2 ends of the drainpipe! I searched both ends, as well as the surrounding trees.
Now I get home I see that iluvtrekking and richlink found the cache yesterday and moved it to another location. No wonder I didn't find anything in relation to the hint, however I did expand my search as well.

Rain started falling steadily as we made our way around the track to gz. Found the cache with iluvtrekking but it was out in the open and contents wet. Dried as best we could and replaced in a spot to give it more protection. Check for amended co-ords in iluvtrekking log. Thanks CacherCrafter13
We found the cache with richlink on a geocaching road trip to York.
The rain was pouring down by this stage and we trudged our way around the lake to GZ. The cache was found out in the open and wet inside. We wiped it out and re hid it in a place that offered a little more protection, now at 529 812.
Thanks CacheCrafter13.

Quick and easy find. Long walk. Good to enjoy the real Aussie outback. Paper was wet.
TFTC! On a geotrip with JacobsCrew and Numbers Man out to York, Northam and everywhere inbetween. Good day out. Thanks
A day out caching with Branzy12 and Numnbers Man, a nice quick find here with a log book on the ground and not sure where the container is..TFTC
Found this one virtually out in the open. Just a bit of bark thrown over it. No log, just a pencil.
Picked this up whilst on a run with Barnzy12 & JacobsCrew up to York, Northam & surrounds.

Spent some time fossicking. Lovely spot with small birds flying around. Unfortunately not a find today.
Found it. This cache needs a little upgrade as containers content in a little messy state. Next time I am here I will tidy it up a little unless the next person wishes to give it the once over.
This one had us completely stumped, to the extent where you start wondering if it's actually there any more. We will be back!
Took us much longer than it needed to have - happy to have got our hands on this one as the kids were sure a snake was lurking nearby (it turned out to be a goanna). TFTC
Added drama here as one of our team lost a wobbly tooth. Dinky little cache, thanks!
Was preparing to descend into the snake pit but then spotted the cache from the track.
A quick find on a short walk around the lake.
Thanks CacheCrafter13 for the cache.
Thanks CacheCrafter13 for the cache.
In Chidlow for a Masters Swim at Lake Leschenaultia. After completing the swim to the head of the lake I walk there to find the cache.
Thanks CacheCrafter13 for the cache.

A micro in the bush had me a bit worried, but the hint guided me in close and made a quick find. TFTC!
Out for a night walk with some yr 10 outdoor ed students and dropped to the back of the group to search for this one!
A welcome find after an earlier dnf.
Thanks CacheCrafter13!

Grabbed this morning after orienteering at the lake. Nice work on the log replacement Neil - good job on walking 100km as well. SL TFTC
Damp log, but we did our best to dry it out. (Can't remember if we left a plastic bag for someone else to place log in once fully dry.) Geodaughter found this one while we watched all the poor Oxfamwalkers stare at the very big hill they had to climb.

Found during the Oxfam Trailwalker event at the 96.2km mark. Replaced log with "Rite in the Rain" paper - will return original log to CO. TFTC, CC13!
Out on a walk with the Family Bushwalking Club. As others have said the log was damp. We tried drying it as best we could but it could still do with some attention. Thanks for the hide.
