Quick find. Not what we were expecting, very different cache compared to the other ones. Not too many spots left on this log roll. Tftc!!!
More dead animals right at the cache but thankfully no snakes. Got to love Australia! TFTC. Log near full, about 4/5 spaces left at best.
When my friend told me this morning we would have more cold i said surely not. And now...it is freezing.
Nothing out of place but then something looked out of place. My condolences to the family of the kanagaroo. TFTC.
This one had me stumped for a while. I should have known better though. Eventually I found it in the first place I looked. The dead roo is still a bit whiffy with flies and broken into several bits. But it is past zombie state now.

My caching mission this afternoon was to move on all the trackables I'd accumulated in the last week or so, so I was focused on finding 'small' or larger caches. This series fit the criteria well, but by now I had placed them all. Easily found. TFTC.

Another dead roo! 3rd for the day.. this one [sadly enough] a fresh kill, not yet zombified.
Very cute cache, thanks
Very cute cache, thanks
Lived here all my life but never been down this road! Nice spot to return in summer. Easy find, TFTC
We decided on a quick caching trip today, so we loaded the bike and The Woofer into the car and drove to Kambah. We parked at the bottom of the road and rode/ran to the top, then slowly made our way back to the car, finding caches on the way.
This was the last of the Haunted series for us today. Thanks for the caches DopAmel!

When I read the cache title, I immediately thought of the Waverly Cemetery in Sydney and wondered why I had never heard of there being a sanatorium there - then I read the details and all became clear. I googled the Waverly Hills Sanatorium - a most imposing building for sure!
Having done this series in reverse order, I was surprised by this cache container - and I'm curious what happened to cache number 4? Was it spirited away by mischievous spirits masquerading as muggles?
Thanks for the cache and for the series, DopAmel

Tftc. Quick park and grab. Signed log and back on the road heading to the next one in the series in a few minutes.
Day sixteen of the Southern NSW Lounge About with BettyBoo3747.
First full day in Canberra. Fired up the deadly treadlies and rode section six of the Centenary Trail.
Cached the way there and back again.
Doing the series the other way around this was our last cache.
Some doppelganger has been at work on this container! Instead of the coloured topped plastic boxes we have found at all the other haunted spot, this one was different. Still didn't take long to find though.
Thanks for this great series, and some very interesting descriptions.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 10269. The first full day of caching in Canberra for Robmc and me. Good to start turning almost 3000 blue caches to yellow., even if only in small part. We once again headed out on the bicycles towards the Centenary Trail and gathered some caches along the way and a couple on the way back. Staying in Chapman has certainly been convenient for today's outing.
The last of the Haunted series today. Thanks for some interesting reading as I was trying to write my logs. Hope I sleep well this evening.
Thanks DopAmel

F(H)ound It! 9:31:00 AM
I was going to grab a couple at Kambah pool, but I see the area is Dog Prohibited so this was the first for today. I parked near the gate and was considering walking to the end and then back again but its too hot so I did the start of the series as park and grabs. I spent a lot of time in this area when I was young. Used to ride the pony down the dirt track and then me, the horse and the dog would have a swim. Guess you can't do that any more. Thanks for the cache DopAmel

Geocaching while on the way to a CBC bushwalk on a beautifully sunny day. Life can't get much better!
Thank you DopAmel for this cache.

With 35 degrees forecast, an early morning bike ride seemed in order. I've been wanting to finish off this series for a little while and it's an ideal one to do by bike, so all the pieces were in order.
This has been a well-guarded series, with around half the finds having a guardian in place. This one was no exception, with a rather robust, grey, eight-legged guardian on duty. A little jostling of the container and the guardian decided its rate of pay only covered a certain amount of risk and elsewhere in the tree was the more sensible place to be. A quick retrieval and log sign before the guardian was ordered back by central management and I was away. TFTC

We're not much into haunted houses but this was a nice series after our walk along the Centenary trail. A quick find here. Thanks DopAmel
Surprise visit from Joelisa. Quick trip around for some easy finds. Last one for the day. Tftc
A sneaky hide. Lots of red herrings. Lucky for me the GPS cords were spot on. TFTC
TFTC decided to drop by this cache while back tracking from river trail
Camp very effective

I planned to meet up with a few fellow geocachers at Kambah pool, but decided to collect these ones beforehand. So allowed a bit of extra time on the way to the meeting spot. All caches found and accounted for. My GPS did not always send me directly to the container, but close enough and then I looked for the obvious! Sorry for the generic log. But thanks for the mini series Dopamel!
# 1702 The plan for today is to ride from Kambah shops down along the Most Huanted Series, collecting those and the odd individual cache down tot he the Murrumbidgee, and then collect all the new Canberra Centenary Trail caches.
The Monkeys were supposed to be coming with me today, but instead organised to have a girls day out with the Boss lady and all get there hair done. The hair appointments were postponed until tomorrow, but somehow, I got dropped at the start point by myself with a "Call us when your ready to get picked up, were going shopping instead"
Arrgh... Leave me alone you little bugger. I even had to get off the bike and stand in the middle of the road ready to swing at him for it to finally give up on drawing blood and head back to his nest. When I got to GZ, I read the hint, but still didn't realise I was looking at the hide. Sad considering I have two of these as hide myself. Thank you for the Series. I will write you separately about joining this series to the Canberra Centenary Trail series.

Well I had completed the Centenary trail and had been outside for about 6 hours now. The rain was still drizzling but it was about to get heavier! I decided to find just 4 in this series until I came to a conclusion that the rain was too heavy and I should just focus on riding to the bus stop.
Well.... the previous DNF seems to have scared everyone off from looking for this cache? I found it very quickly, and it it certainly still there. Just look at the hint, and if you have a familiar idea with this creative camo then it shouldn't be too hard! Thanks DopAmel

My Dutch caching companions were seriously distracted at this location... while I was finding the cache, they were getting their first glimpses of kangaroos in the wild, albeit at quite some distance away. It took some encouragement to drag them away and back to the business at hand! I assured them that there would be much better sightings forthcoming, but it was hard to convince them!! I did make them actually find the cache as it was a little different from the others we had found to date. TFTC.
We're visiting our family in Canberra. Ofcourse we wantend to search for some caches during our visit.
For the first time we didn't need to explain what geocaching is, our relatives have another geocaching friend. Because it was going to be a Nice day we decided to fix a date with the friend. So now we have a New cachefriend.
We've searched for the birds of ACT series and a few other caches.
Cache owners, and New friend, D, (we've forgotten your cachename) thank you for the Nice day!
Greatings,
Team lisjes2000 from HollandI

Had a look around with Cummins711 and could not spot it.......might not be looking hard enough or it has been muggled.
thanks for logging the need maintenance, cache was completely ruined. rubbish removed and a new, improved camo is at the same spot. Cache on!
Pretty sure I found the right spot (I found a disturbed hiding place), but agree the cache has been muggled.
the container is smashed - I'll try to attach a photo. The lid was the only item intact. Found 3 pieces of the base but other pieces were missing. No LOG or any other items in the vicinity. If you can't get to it soon, I suggest you ARCHIVE it.
I am counting this as found even though I didn't sign the log - THERE IS NO LOG - CACHE CONTAINER SMASHED - took photo and will attach to this log (with Edit). The lid was the only intact item - the base was broken into many pieces, some of which were missing
Found the remains ov smashed cache just up hill from its hidey hole dinosaur magnafing glass no log to be found we put it back tftc anyhow the ewoks
Doing a few caches down south. Nice series. Will have to get to the houses one day. TFTC DopAmel.
We had a nice liesurely look around Canberra and this was one of the caches we were able to find while we were out exploring. [^][^] Thanks to DopAmel
grabbed after work, short drive to gz.. found, signed, and replaced.. cheers!
Finally completed this series, apart from one DNF, early in the morning before the day heated up. TFTC DopAmel
Found 8:05 pm with LuckyL10n. We are both out for our daily streak I completed mind with an earlier find Lucky still had his to go and this series looked like a good little bunch to pick up in a small series. We jumped out if the car near GZ and started a search for the cache which was quickly found. After log signing and replacing we are headed off to the next.
#2568 - 20:05; Out and about tonight with MrDamage for our daily nightly. Decided to add a few extra finds for thye month of September, so headed across town to grab a few more in this series. Headed to the end of the road for a turn around before heading back along to grab our quota for the evening. This one was a quick find and sign before heading along for #2. TFTC DopAmel
A local wombat has been making some exploratory excavations near GZ. It's safe for now. Tftc.
Out doing some caches down Kambah Pool Road this afternoon. Grabbed geocoin. A quick and easy find. TFTC
This was one of an easy to find series in a very impressive valley area.
The weather was perfect and the cache was easy to find. I really enjoy these mini trails as they can be completed in a relaxed manner with the end goal being the very peaceful Kambah pools. TFTC.

We were down south side today feeding a new client, so headed out to this series to collect our one for the day. Arrived on dusk and after a quick search in the drizzle had the cache in hand.

Nice sunny for geocaching, enjoyed read your description about haunted... No swap. Signed the log. Thanks DopAmel. [^] [^]
This hide was a bit odd... there was some old building garbage dumped nearby, and some used for the camo. I also did this at night, by mountain bike, even though it wasn't recommended!
My Geocache buddy DarzeeDi was out of town for a netball comp so I decided to find some caches she has already found. I went to the National Portrait Gallery in the morning to see the National Photographic Portrait Com exhibit and then headed out to the Kambah pool rd to grab some caches. The NPG is well worth a visit. tftc DopAmel
Accompanied Dragon1982, enjoyed drive on the road to Kambah Pool caches... easy to find as very well hide thanks
Accompanied ALL7, enjoyed drive on the road to Kambah Pool caches... Nice hide TFTC.
Sunday 11 May 2014 - superb warm autumn afternoon that started with a bike ride, and a few clouds in the sky on such a still day. Quick and easy find. Thx p2p. TFTC.
