Rocked up to this cache thinking it would be a simple walk, but turned out to be a fun scramble. Great cache for the nimble cachers
Today I was heading down to Green Mountain for a short walk or two. On todays walk I had the company of Davinells, Kolour, Snickersallan, Muggle65 and GreenGecko1. In the end it was lovely day with beautiful scenery. The main target for me were earthcaches. Plus there a few other caches we grabbed.KezzBear thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
I had a great day walking about 15km around the OReillys area with Davinells, snickersallan, GreenGecko1, Muggle65 and Brislions. Even though it was cold, we were lucky that the rain mostly kept away. On our way home, Brislions and I stopped here as neither of us had previously found this one. We went up the direct way, quickly found the cache which ants have taken over and signed log and replaced. We found an easier way down as the leaf litter on the rock on our way up, would have made it too slippery. Love the title. Tftc
Working for a stint nearby and taking the chance on this glorious day in a beautiful part of the world to grab some nearby caches. Quick easy grab on the way by - had to fight off the ants that have taken up the cache as their home though. Only Gav - never the same without Manda. TFTC
I was feeling a little boulder today so wandered down the road from where we parked and scrambled up a smallish cliff using the ladder provided by my team of Sherpas. By the way the road is not closed any more judging by the amount of traffic using it.Once safely on the ridge wandered along northward to the cache. Had to admire the Camo. Very carefully constructed. Added to the log as usual. Back to the car but the Sherpas had removed the ladder so I had to remove the long shoelaces from my boots and abseil down the short cliff to the road. TFTC.
Tftc saintsmadhouse, we had stopped here a few days ago but as we were only wearing our Chinese hiking boots ( aka thongs) we left it for today.BL made the ascent from the rear as suggested.Great view from the top. Thanks for the exercise.!
My latest health kick is in full swing, so I was keen for a long walk to clear the cobwebs. No better place for it than Lamington National Park. After a nice morning walking the Box Forest circuit, I headed back down the hill and decided to collect a few caches around Canungra that have long been on my list.I have always put the caches on the southern climb up Tamborine Mountain off for another day, mostly because I am too tired after a long walk at Lamington. Well, I was not tired today so today was that other day. At GZ, I wondered how to get up on top, and eventually I just followed the geo-trail around the back and then up on top. The well camo'd cahce fooled me on the first pass, but on closer inspection, I spotted the prize. Nice views from up here. TFTC Saints Mad HousePete#7,459
Well that was a nice challenge. Nice to keep our streak alive. Too foggy to see much from here. Tftc
We decided to take the terrain 4.5 route to this, because why not. After reaching GZ, we discovered the cache and its camouflage separated. We appreciated the craftsmanship, signed the log, and returned it as it should be. After replacing the cache, we took in the views over the town and then chose the easier route back down. Thanks SaintsMadHouse
Cache number 3 for the day. 6 of us for the weekend. Only two girls silly enough for this. See attached Two girls on the way to a winery standing on a giant boulder. Commitment.
Easy find once we were up there: TFTC. Found with Ali.

Today, it was an early start with an airport drop-off, and then a long drive to Binna Burra for a planned hike. We had decided on Dave's Circuit that detoured past Surprise Rock and Molongolee Cave, and [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I completed the approximate 12 km hike in 4.5 hr. We decided to drive home via Mount Tamborine, subsequently taking a wander along Gallery Walk, before finding a few geocaches on our way home.
With this road closure linking Tamborine Mountain to Canungra / hiking gateway, we've never driven Tamborine Mountain Road before, but that changed today with this connection route. There were some fairly impressive boulders at this location, and I was initially looking at climbing the split, before eyeing a better ascent route. It was a brief look around the top until finding part of the outer camouflage that had given away. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I wrapped the slightly broken outer camouflage together, and I think it currently does the trick, or at least for now. Thanks SaintsMadHouse for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

I looked at this cache the last time I was in the area but we rain out of time to get it. Today I made the detour and found a nice way up the boulders.
I found the camo first but nothing was inside... I thought I was going to have to DnF it but decided to have a bit of a search around and ended up finding the container wedged in a tree.
I placed the container but in its camo, hopefully it stays! Tftc saintsmadhouse

Nice little place with a nice little view. Took a bit but we found it. Nice hide! TFTC
Being early to my walk today meant that I had enough time for this cache and a coffee at the outpost in canungra.
Log is wet but still ok
Thank you for hiding this geocache saintsmadhouse

After finding both a steep roadside route and the much easier route up from behind, we found a likely camouflaged hiding place but alas, no cache. Possibly been muggled? We shall be back to try again once the owner confirms it is in its rightful place
Wow, mountain goats at over 70 years old. Found cache! Signed log and replaced as found. TFTC
We got confused and clambered up the road side, some way along, but once there realised we were meant to approach from the other side. Mr STW clambered down that side but Mrs wasnt into going down there, so we looked and found a safer way down eventually.
A lovely spot, we enjoyed the view and the breeze. TFTC.

Found by Mr CNQ with Canungra largely obscured by light drizzle. If Id bought the geobag up I would have left another log sheet. Thanks for another cache.
TeamARF was the brave one scaling up to locate the cache. Job well done indeed! Found a genie bottle nearby! Rather strange! Loved this spot with its mammoth boulders and beautiful views!!! TFTC
Getting up wasn't that bad. Found a likely spot to climb the rock. Cache quickly found and the view admired. There was definitely more caution descending the rock. Great spot for a cache saintsmadhouse.
Day 24 of our drive from Bright in Victoria to Brisbane, Queensland. It can be rather boring, so we cache as we go. We camped are currently camped in the showgrounds at Canungra in preparedness of this afternoon's event.
As I don't do 3.5 T, I sent Mr d up for this one. He is there in that picture.... Thanks SaintsMadHouse

What a great name for this cache. Big boulders too.
We followed your instructions and approached from the back - thanks for that.
At the top we had no trouble finding the cache. Good view too over the town.
Thanks for the cache and adding more fun to our day.

Awesome spot! Great location for a hide. Thanks for bringing me here! New logbook needed.
Great name for this one! Reezielou scrambled up and quickly had the cache in hand! Great view from the top! TFTC!
Thought cache could have been an incendiary device from the Canungra training ground across the road. Great views.

Thanks thought this might have been harder to get to now to get down maybe the problem
Found at 2:18 PM GAFF1.
Once you get to the top, you don't see much! After 5 years since the cache ha been placed, it seems that the trees have obscured the view somewhat. Same thing has happened to our region - no views from the lookouts.
The way down was actually more difficult than going up!
Thanks SaintsMadHouse.

Out caching today with 4 other Kiwi's, 4 of us (Rebel98, rustynz and Batgirl5 and myself) flew here to the Gold Coast a few days ago and we met up with our caching buddy lokky1 who is now a resident of these parts. We're here for 4 days and 4 nights and are tourists as much as we are cachers!
When we pulled up here, we have 2 vehicles.. one hired one with me and Rebel and rusty and the other is lokky's. We found a way up to the top without encountering any of the wildlife nasties, rusty was the adventurous one with her brand new boots she bought not even an hour ago at Anaconda's. Up she went and had the cache in seconds, then a cautious approach back down and she was quite chuffed! Now we're gradually heading to the Skywalk but there are a few caches we need to get before then.

We are on our way to Tamborine, and made the stop at this cache. Following the GPS thought it was on the lower level. Then after looking at the D/T rating decided I needed to climb up. So up I went in my new boots. They worked perfectly, and I was soon at GZ finding the cache. Not being from Australia, only in the country for a few days, have been very anxious/cautious about searching for caches with all the lovely critters that could be found in the bush.
Once checked and confirmed safe to retrieve log, I was soon signing and returning it to its hiding place.
Really enjoyed finding this one, a mini adventure. Thanks saintsmadhouse for the hide

Another perfect Autumn day for a trip around while staying at Canungra.
Lots of muggles around today and a few more good safe hides.
A great spot for a cache. I found the container well away from GZ and returned it.
The log was missing, so I added a new log sheet until the CO can replace it with a proper one.
Thanks for the cache SaintsMadHouse,

On a bit of a mission from the sunny coast to take advantage of this beautiful weather and thought id do a trip to Tamborine Mountain considering I don't remember the last time I visited...
Soooo.. the drive getting to this cache is a bit hectic when you have a lunatic sitting on your tail and 2 motorbikes in front of you.. just makes this cache a whole heap more interesting I say..!
My first attempt getting this cache may have been me misreading the scale up the "boulder", on rethinking my approach I made it up as the sun was setting.. sat in the quiet and watched/listed to a hawk circling around..
Thanks so much for the cache you placed here!

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Staying a few days in Canungra, we decided to head out and explore the surrounding area using Geocaching as a guide, before the predicted afternoon thunderstorms.

After finding a couple of caches at O'Reillys, stortigirls and I headed off to a couple of other target caches for the day. We had to drive past this one, so decided to stop off to find it too. A quick scramble up the wet rocks and we were at GZ. There the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Selva Girls and I stopped to collect a smilie here on our way through to a nearby puzzle and multi. It was a very careful climb in the rain, but we got up and down without incident and admired the views as instructed. Tftc saintsmadhouse

Wow, loved the views and the terrific cache container and hide, it was well worth the walk up even though it was wet but we took our time, no dash up for us today. A favorite point from me.

Today I was out caching with Greengeckoes and Curare63. Bit of a climb to this one. TFTC!
Glad I had geokid with me today, what a great job he did. This one is the closest one to my home so I'm glad I managed to finally find it
Was here with my mum, JACS Team and brother. Climbed up with some helped and I found the cache. Slid down on my bum after.

Tuesday. Both of Slow Puncture were headed up to Tamborine to visit Luke's sister. With her in tow, we had lunch in Canungra. After Lahey's Tunnel and Tunnel Vision, we headed back to her place, but stopped on the ascent to grab this one.
Hmmm, not sure we took the easiest way up, but sure found an easier way down! Nabbed ourselves a trendy pathtag as well, thanks to the CO
This was the 4th of 7 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***SaintsMadHouse***, for showing us this place.

Wow! Came on a pathtag hunt and while I was in the area with the two mountain goats of the family we decided to climb up and see the view - we were not disappointed. Leaving a favourite point because it was so spectacular!!
What a welcome surprise it was to be parking up... and there was the cache owner on scene. We were straight to the GZ, dashed up the boulder, never heard of traffic, snakes, lightning strikes, bushfires, sandstone rash, etc etc. Great cache. And thanks for the beautiful Pathtags!!
I remember a Commodore 64 game called Boulder Dash, so how could resist having a look for this Cache. Liked the availability of safe car parking here and a nice walk to GZ along with the scramble at the end. This was an enjoyable Cache, this cache is what Geocaching is all about. A favorite of ours.
Thanks SaintsMadHouse

Cheers for replacing, SaintsMadHouse, was a bit sad to find remnants of the original cache scattered around on the ground. Cool little spot.
Found original container and alerted cache owner. She was good to add our names to the new replacement container that afternoon.

I was not confident enough to continue this one, got about half way, then didnt trust my shoes enough to do this solo. If I had someone else with me I would have continued, but too dangerous when caching solo.
Thanks anyways SaintsMadHouse

Ms Wig and I started to search on the wrong side at first then quickly realised we needed to go up the back. The rock was quite damp but still no real problem getting up. Found container open with a bit of water which we tipped out, log book dry but inside back bit wet so left inside bag with plenty of air inside.
Nice rock, thanks SaintsMadHouse

We were staying at Canungra and went for a drive up to Tamborine Mountain, enjoying the lovely views and grabbing a few caches in the area. Thanks for the hide and for taking us to this lovely spot.
Nice stop and grab, the view wasn't as nice as I expected.. Too many trees. Beautiful spot though. TFTC
On our way to the Lamington Nationalpark we came here along and after a short climb we could log. TFTC.

We are up on the mountain today collecting a variety of puzzles, multis and traditionals and making the most of the beautiful winter weather that the south east has been experiencing recently.
We had a lot of fun with this one. I clambered up a gap between two boulders but that was too difficult for the rest of the family so they came around the other side and scrambled up.
Everyone made it up to admire the views and sign the log. Getting down was just as challenging but this cache gave us a real sense of achievement.

I grew up climbing boulders like this on our farm in Victoria, so this was a bit of fun for me! I flew up like nothing.... Geoteen was calling out for me not knowing where I was! Hide and seek in the bolders!!! TFTC!
I'm glad I stopped to find this cache, some great views up here! I clambered up here to find that my pen had disappeared again, where do they all go?
So I retrieved another one from my car and enjoyed the climb again!
Dropped in a tropical frog to keep the log company and applied camo.
Fave point from me, thanks!

Nice little stop, and quick find. Views are amazing. TFTC. cache bare apart from log.Now for the "dash" back in between passing cars.
after a short diversion in the wrong direction quickly found the cache in its hide; signed the log and returned it to its cosy resting place.
