This cache has been replaced four times now. I’m tired of the drama with the persistent local who doesn’t appreciate it being there. Sorry to disappoint.
Have to have at least one DNF for the day and this one was it.
Lotsa little hide holes but none with a cache in them.
I thought the girls would be very disappointed but they were actually quite cool with it.
Anyway, the owners may want to have a look and see if it does actually exist.

Althought we were looking for this Cache we didn't find it. But it said it was close to the water and we found lots of good spots it could be hidden but unfortunately no Joy. This was my first DNF and second cache attempt. Attempted with ImMaBoT, Rosalee and The Bronze.
This was my first DNF. My second attempt to Geocache. We searched everywhere for ages. Still didn't find it. We looked at the clue. That was no help either. Unfortunately we left empty handed. Oh well.
DNF - Attempted and looked everywhere. I fell down the hill. I got very dirty. It was not enjoyable to fall down the hill. We think someone, a muggle may have stolen the container. looked everywhere. Still no luck. It is officially MIA.
The Cut n Paste bit: Today I set out to find 25+ caches with different D/T combinations, to qualify for "The Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge" (https://coord.info/GC54RAX) and I'm pretty sure I was successful with 26 different combos, a few extra caches, and only 3 DNFs for the day.
Notes on this cache: It was nice to come here, and there seemed to be a clear spot at GZ where a D1 cache would be. However there was a bit of broken glass and no cache. I had a quick look around to see if the cache might be in a different spot, but no luck. I will message the CO. Cheers

Second find today, first day geocaching, 6 year old heart gave up, just had to look a little harder
Only had a quick look, there was a muggle across on the verandah so didn't bother to look up high. TFTC
No find for this one today. Probably spent to much time looking for the rating.. Will have to try some other time Team Wangi.
Attempted to find this at 10:29:00 AM on 20Jun2018

Had a DNF previously on this one, but had seen it had owner intervention. Thanks for the maintenance Team Wangi. TFTC
Found with Freddo while attending the OzGeoMuster in Port Macquarie over the Easter weekend.
It was a fantastic four days filled with finds, fraternizing, Freddo and friends. Sorry for the generic logs as we found so many caches. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for us to find.

Given the heads-up traffic was heavy through Morisset, made a few stops after the Mega’s farewell event to give it time to clear. Unfortunately, the crawl wasn’t just cachers checking out of the showground and the holiday Monday traffic made what should have been a 90 minute trip closer to 4 hours!
A nice day out with team Capital Crunchers picking up caches whilst attending the OzGeoMuster 2018, very tiring by the end of the day. tftc Team Wangi
Team Capital Crunchers decided to do a loop around Lake Macquarie today picking up highly favourtied, P&G with views and caches near the Mega's lab caches. I would love to do some of these caches by kayak - sounds like lots of fun. Cache in good nick - thanks again
Found It!
A quick find here as someone went past on one of those stand up paddle boards. Nice little spot for a cache!

Apologies for the generic logs. I thik I may be logging loads of caches this weekend.
A long tiring day today as we drove right around the beautiful lake grabbing a variety of caches and enjoying the beautiful views. Thanks to ACTChil, Darzee Di, GrimRaider, Joolay and Kittykatch for your company and fun times as we travelled around together as Capital Crunchers.
All logs were signed. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining these caches for us to find.

#3859 23rd for today
Day 2 of the OzGeoMuster 2018.
The plan today was to get hold of the Lab Caches and make a start on those as well as some serious pathtag swapping. Any time remaining was to collect any solved puzzled. All in all a fairly successful day. It was not nearly as hot as yesterday but it was still quiet steamy. I'd been for a local parkrun this morning so I was already dehydrated and ended up with a fairly bad headache before I realised why. I took it easy for a bit and re-hydrated and was feeling a lot better around dinner time. Which means: time to resume the hunt for caches. That went on until about 9pm. It was much easier in the dark, but no cooler or less humid.
Apologies for the generic logs. I did enjoy exploring the area finding these caches and have met quite a few other cachers out along the way. Everyone is very friendly.
Thanks to the COs: Team Wangi

15,566. Found during the OZGeomuster 2018 with minniek and Family - mostly signed as MFF.
Well the Mega is finally here ! We drove up yesterday and set up camp at the Showground. Out bright and early for a big day's caching and this was the next find of the day. As with most of today's finds this was a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all of the COs for their caches !!

Headed up to the OZGeomuster Mega from Goulburn. Arrived late Thursday and got an early start Friday morning. All puzzles solved prior and caches quickly found today unless otherwise mentioned. Signed log as MFF for myself, fitzy_1965 and the geokids (B0tmun, Lovetherabbitohs, DeathKiller & my_name_jeff_1)
Another diversion on our trip around to pick up the OZMG series.

Up for the Mega. Left Canberra at 5pm. Stopped in Campbelltown at 7:15 for dinner. Left at 8:20 and here under 2hrs. Easter traffic....what traffic? Timing helps. Dumped the bags at the AIRBNB and walked to GZ for a quick find and my daily. TFTC
Came for a drive to try and clear Wangi penisula however there was a strong southerly blowing so we had to leave two for another day. Second one of the day and another quick find. TFTC.
Find #1964
It was tough going in a southerly after plundering the treasures of Letchworth, so we dropped back in here on foot. We walked in, spotted the hide from 20m away and grabbed the cache, what a contrast to our first visit here. We always love getting rid of frownies! TFTC Team Wangi

3 of us searched here for quite a while but didn't come up with the prize. Just some dog poo! We will return.
We were camping at The Pines over the long weekend to do some geocaching. The maps on the GPS said we could drive to this cache. This was not the truth, we had to walk about 100 meters along a nice path close to the water, Found a herring ans soon the actual cache.
No luck. Couldn't really make sense of the hint either.... is it English?
From the previous logs needs a CO visit I think.

enjoyed the stroll around the water to this cache , saw some ducks. As others have said the bottom of the cache container is cracked but the log was dry. Thanks for the cache Team wangi tnln sl
Spotted straight away. Not sure that the hint real means anything. Cache maintenance required. Big crack in the bottom.
Today I ventured to the north end of Lake Macquarie and then down the western side.
A quick here for me today.
Some nice houses in this area close to the water.
Thanks for the cache

Grabbed this while staying with a friend on a Sunday morning, while the others slept!! A good hide. TFTC!!
The old red herring trick. Very good Team Wangi. The slippery guardian was easily subdued.
After helping my sister move boxes into her new house all morning I went home, relaxed and when Junior woke up went for an afternoon drive out to this cache. The car GPSr said we could drive right around the peninsula, but there is a little section of grass separating the two halves. We probably parked on the wrong side and then we walked down the 300 meters reading the letterbox numbers and looking at the chickens and ducks. At the end of the street I let Junior choose up or down, we went up and then found the other end of the street and walked the little way back. I made the search harder then it needed to be, but soon had the cache found. I only found one decoy, which was right on the cache. There is also two glass bottles there (one broken), but I did not have a plastic bag to clean them out. We continued on the low road road back to the car counting the boats on the water.
Thanks for the drive, walk, lake views, fun decoy and cache!

Staying with friends at Fishing Point on Lake Macquarie, as a two day stopover on our way to the Stanthorpe Mega. Today we went for a drive around the lake, and I was lucky enough to be able to find some caches at stops along the way.
This was find number 7 of 7 for the day.
This one took us a while but Pam eventually found it.
We left it as it was hidden originally I think, with the camo retrieved from the fire and returned to its guardian position.
Also found the two decoys, but could not retrieve the note from the old fella.
Thanks for placing this cache Team Wangi

I walked from Rathmines to find this and you made me reach in there! Thanks *rolls eyes*. Though yay first geocache!
The old gate to the small gnome cave has been burnt in a nearby fire. Bummah!
The cache is intact and in place, just without the cool cammo.
Ready to go.
