Out grabbing a few early morning caches with my eldest son this morning knocking off a few caches while staying in town for a few days and we set off and managed a few quick park and grabs. This one was quickly located and logged, thanks redcenterdazza for the hide.

Greetings from New Zealand. I was in the Northern Territory for the Red Centre event and the time has come when I had to depart and head back to Alice Spings, I had left some to collect on my drive down, so there was plenty to break up the drive.

I knew I was going to be back for this series and had time this afternoon. TFTC

Well after a great week in the Alice for the Red centre Mega, it's time to head for home but needed to do a few more caches along the way. TFTC TNLN

After a visit to the Western Macs we decided to finish the day with this series. Although I do not have a clou about military hierarchy, I enjoyed the caches.

Found along with todays travelling convoy, caching our way in and around Alice Springs. We signed the logs as EMSGPS - Earthbound, Mica, Sharkiefan, GeoTurtle, Papillon and sully. Thanks to all the CO's, we had a super day, lotsa fun and laughs, and the smileys were a bonus.

Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.

Today I was lucky enough to be out and about so I targeted this cache.

On Day Four of the epic Hevic and CJ-Curry mission to Alice Springs, the temporary team known as the **TTSS** (a.k.a. the **Trans-Tasman Swiss Squad** comprised of zuse7, granville86a, dghoffy, and both Hevic and myself) decided to grab some caches both close to home and a little further out. We ended up with not a single DNF and we ended up finding all the caches in good nick. Thanks Squad!

The end of the line? Not quite, as we spied two caches further along the road that we thought would be fun. Thanks for the series - blitzed but still a lot of fun was had. Cheers!

After spending some time exploring the Event site, we headed into Alice to replenish our cash supply and also grab a bite to eat. We spent the afternoon learning more about the city and finding caches in places we would not have thought to go before we started geocaching. It was quite easy to bring this little group to order.

We headed out this morning along the Ross Hwy to find some traditionals and earthcaches. We teamed up with Kyzabra, SVKR_WA and Two+Four to make a day of it.

We split up with Two+Four after lunch and headed back into town to grab some more caches.

Travelling on the Road Trip to end all Road Trips. Kyzabra and I are travelling from Perth to Alice Springs (via the Great Central Road) for the Red Centre Experience Event over Easter. We are travelling in Kyzabra's GeoPajero and grabbing caches along the way of course.

Today Two + Four, Krabiboy, Kyzabra and I headed east to grab caches out that way. Another day of fun and banter as we explore the greater Alice Springs Area.

Found on our Red Centre Experience. Before heading for some caches near the airport, we got most of the caches on the sealed road within this miniseries. As each of these caches are basically the same hide, they were all very easy finds. Some cars passed us while we were doing it - some were muggles, some were cachers! Nice landscape around here. Our Spring Geocaching trip go this year to Australia...yes you read right, in Finland is spring now.
We visit in Australia (Adelaide, Murray Bridge, Port Augusta, Whyalla, Coober Pedy, Uluru, Alice Springs, Port Vincent and other place which are on the way those places) on April 05.-20.

We see many beautiful place where we visit and enjoy every cache what we found, so humble thanks every cache owner that you hiding this cache!

We (kapeka, laalaa, J&T. and Hiltsu) use common nickname Team ICE, T-ICE or TICE that we saves space in the logbook.

Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.

All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!

We spent three days caching around Alice Springs. This is so different area than bushy flat desert around it. Lots of beautiful places to see. Truly Red Centre Experience for us.

13297. Next find of Day 03 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip.

I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.

Next stop for the day. A quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next cache.

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

Caching in the Alice Springs and Eastern MacDonnell ranges region for the long, long weekend all thanks to the Red Center Experience geocaching event in Alice 13-17th April 2017. My apologies for a generic log, but I'm notorious for not logging my caches. I am just trying to get up-to-date so someday I can celebrate milestones again. cheers and thanks to all for their efforts to make the hide findable and most in a location worthy of a visit without geocaching (but I'm glad I got a smiley too!)

After a quick find here of another different container type it was time to work out where next as we had five more finds to clock up before that milestone... So we had a bit of a meeting on the side of the road - as you do!

Caching this afternoon with SEMIK and Goblindust. Great to be out caching in this beautiful part of Australia. This was one we targetted and found. Thanks to redcenterdazza for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

Today was Good Friday and TK2, i,dax, shonky logic and myself decided to team up and find some caches in the area while the girls attended the art and craft sessions on offer at the event grounds. After lunch, young Oliver was in need of a rest, so we dropped him and Mum off at the hotel and headed off again, this time aiming at the 'military ranks series' down Colonel Rose Drive. All pretty fast caches, we made good time, with a new found efficiency in my offsider also.... An interesting drive down to the river, albeit dry.... TFTC!
