As there's been no cache to find for some time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

It is time this cache was archived, it has been disabled too long

I am sorry but I am temporarily disabling Round and Round as the council are doing work on the round about. Still unsure if I will be able to return cache to original position, but I will either find a new location or archive it. Once again I am sorry, but my other caches in the area are not affected by this so make sure you go find them.

Difficult to be discrete here! Lots of muggles driving by. Looked and looked but couldn't find. Came home, read the hint and clues in previous logs, returned with a torch and more specific focus but could not locate. Think this one may have been removed ... ?

Tried twice over the day (returned with torch) but no luck. Perhaps just missing it?

Searched for this one previously with no joy. Saw that it had been replaced so came to give it another go and again no sign. Bother.

Round and round we went but there seemed to be nothing here. It was lovely and quiet today and only a few cars passed us but with cragger and laval in tow no-one blinked an eye at what we were up to.

With all the DNF's it's probably time for the CO to check this one out.

It is temporarily disabled but will get onto fixing it straight away.

2nd attempt now... After visiting the cache nearby that inspired this one, I had a fair idea of what I was looking for. When I got there, I found the component of interest, but no cache with it. I then looked according to the first part of the clue and found a cache-looking thing.

CO, is it supposed to be like this? My instincts say not. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well its a small roundabout and the places a cache could be hidden are pretty limited unless its high in the tree or buried underground. So I searched all the obvious places at least twice and nothing showed up. Felt like a prize wally standing in the middle of a roundabout with 10 cars a minute driving past from all directions. At least I am not local so nobody knows me. Are all Aucklanders petrol-heads? - this is a quiet suburban street. Where are they all going to?

How is it that you can be anywhere in Auckland and get spotted walking randomly around an inner roundabout by a friend yelling to you to "get a life!" out of the car window as they drive past! (This is one of those friends that think our pursuit of geocaching is odd. We prefer to see it as "an opportunity to go to places you wouldn't normally go to". They don't get it. Move on... ). Great find! Took some time in the busy hours! Got some help

I looked and felt in the right places, but didn't come up with the cache. After reading some of the logs, I macgyvered a geotool to shed some light on the subject and spotted the cache. TFTC.

Third times a charm, this time i brought my camera as a 'disguise' but had forgot to put batteries in so felt a little silly. Turns out it was not such a long search; found in a spot I'm sure i had searched before.

This had a very well concealed, a second visit, only limited options and yet struggled to find, not today, it must have been our combined energies. Thanks for the hide.

While standing on the round about, a driver asked if we were having a meeting! should have said yes a prayer circle/meeting! Some of the parts have had a hammering, and whilst we made our search, something came into view. Thanks for the hide and bringing us here.

A wet afternoon and a couple of hours geocaching to chalk up some finds. This one had us looking around for a wee bit, in fact looked but didn't see. Then the light went on! Clever hide - a new one for me. Hoping people didn't think we were too weird (what a lot of traffic just here!) went to the car to sign (i.e. didn't want to be even more obvious by signing on the round-about!). TFTC geo-sen.

Loved this challenge...it was found but we needed a second attempt to sign the log, a real favourite, thanks

well isn't that a cool hide.. no wonder there are few favorite points, found the cache soon enough but thought it must have been broken again... not until the smart phone camera spotted a clue.. a very neat and tricky clue.. while else where;-) nice.. be adding this to my ideas stable for torturing cachers with...

Awesome cache. Couldn't find it on my first visit this morning, so headed out to do a few others, then came back. In my defence, I had a friend with me who was searching that area, but I did look there, but not hard enough!

Upon coming back 1/2 hour later, it was the first place I looked and I just started laughing.

Hard to look subtle! But that wasn't my problem!

I looked on all surfaces, tree, signs, grass, concrete, and even got the torchlight out but couldn't find anything the clue didn't help either

Went once around, then had to wait for passing muggles on foot and in cars before being able to retrieve the cache. Surprised no one stopped to ask what we were doing as its such an unusual place to stand - unless you are caching of course. TFTC.

Left early for work this morning (4.30am) and decided to cross this one off my list on the way. Pulled up and had a look around... and it didn't take me long to come up with the goods! The torch app on my phone was certainly a big help for me here! A very clever hide indeed! TFTC

What an idiot I was here. Found it easily (I have a similar hide on a roundabout) but tried to act casual with cars approaching and didn't think about what I was doing and without giving too much away, broke the cache setup. Tucked it away and took the log with me. Informed the CO, but when I got home realised I had the tools to fix it and returned later to put it back together. Phew!

Very nice hide.

On my way home after work today so detoured here to find my cache for the day. Missed it on the first pass, but spotted on the second. Cheers for the cache placement!

Arrived with a tool for my 3rd attempt here and found the tool unnecessary !
Roads intersecting here very busy [as always] so did my best to pretend to be resting in the shade during a long walk

Trout-fly doesn't quite tell the whole story here, quick spotting of the cache but he didn't retrieve it how it was intended (only noticed that afterwards). Never mind, another find of the day and provided some comic relief for me. TFTC

Not found on first visit too many muggles about to make a thorough search. After reading logged entries and analysing the clues had better idea of its whereabouts which made for a quick find. TFTC

I had wanted to get to 350 caches before the end of the year and totally forgot, until Saturday. . . So out with Lycurgon to get the last 10! TFTC

Out with Reveurs on the last day of the year to pick up 10 caches after work and before heading to a party to get Reveurs total to 350. Reveurs spotted this one, but wasn't sure how to retrieve it, until I sore what was needed. TFTC.

No muggles about this evening - they were probably relaxing over their Christmas dinner. Could not see anything that resembled a cache so will come back another day.

The tourch was well worth bringing!

My very first geocache!
Took my friend and I a while of clueless bumbling about before I revisited one of the first places I looked. With the aid of a flashlight (hint), and a keen eye for small details I found my very first cache
I had no pencil, and there was none provided, so sadly did not sign the log book. I did leave a little trinket, however

We've recently started caching and love the game! We went this morning and found it but have absolutely no idea on how to extract the cache from its hiding spot. Could more experienced cachers please give us a little hints to caches of these sorts??

Had a quick look but decided to abort search due to too many muggles at 6.15-6.20pm! Will definitely come back later. Good spot for a cache.

Auckland Mega Event 2013 and a fantastic weekend of caching planned alongside KiwifruitsNZ with the objective of reaching my 1000th find during the weekend. This was find # 941 on that journey. A very sneaky hide. TFTC

Headed out after dinner with MuzzaL53 to secure some local caches and get our 3rd cache for the 50 consecutive daily cache challenge fipor our a Full License.

A challenging find that took a team effort - one to locate and one to secure.

On our way from Auckland airport to somewhere close to the site of the NZ MEGA 2013 site to locate a place to stay for the night. Traffic was packed up at this time of day so we took some of the smaller roads, stopping to pick up just this one cache that we ran across.

An easy find - the container is wet.. someone had put a replacement log on top of the oritinal log.. the original log was better to writ in though

Found at 18:05 - #4091 - together with aedk and Difool - logged as RAD to save space and time
