Sorry folks. Been alot busy of late and havent been able to do anything with it. Park was very busy when I went by the other day so couldnt do anything then either. May reincarnate as a traditional.
Cheers.
Cheers.
Found the first way point easy enough but could not find the final, it seemed that this morning was the morning that the local muggles all pass through the area with their dogs and I seemed to attract each pooch as I searched. I will make sure that next time I search I will not visit at 7:30 in the morning when it was peak dog walking time and I can search unwatched, took a few photos and wondered if I could ride it without falling off, thanks MCFonz for the cache.
GZ has changed with the hide being removed or chipped and spread in nearby gardens. Will get on to as soon as I can.
Found this cache very easily after finding coordinates as the area had been recently mulched. There were two containers, not sure if it had been lost and replaced, then original found once area was mulched. Maybe owner can confirm and maybe re-hide as its location is in a very open area.

Got the coords but theres been sum mulching done in the area the coords where taking me, i hope the cache hasnt been mulched up.
A bit of drizzle about this morning which meant that the snake run was muggle free. Found w/p1 without a problem them walked on to gz. Think the co-ords are out about 8 mts but spotted the cache as it was clearly visible at the obvious feature. Thanks McFonz
Today we were off to do a bit of star gazing and to pick up a few other caches along the way. Thanks MCFonz we really enjoyed our time searching for your cache and found it a few meters away in plain site.
Headed down here earlier but had I joy. I messaged the cache owner and before I had time to log my DNF, he messaged me back to say all was good, new cache in place.
Headed back down and while the kids tried their scooters on the run, I made the find, and put my babe in the log book.
TFTH MCFonz, and the prompt replacement

This was challenging, was good for the first bit, then several skaters turned up, its good to have the geopooch with us as a distraction so we could find the cache.
Found the coordinates for WP2, but could not locate the cache. (the numbers were not clear, so tried both possible coordinates)
What a sad day this is for me - duty calls and I have to head homewards. I have had the very best time down here.
We tried for this cache a couple of days ago, but muggle children were enjoying the park and an equally muggle-like troupe of geocachers were searching for the cache, announcing to all that they were looking for a little black box. After trying to get them to shush, we left the area, urging them to do the same.
So back I came this morning to claim my smiley. Mission accomplished, and hopefully without any muggles being aware of my quest. Thanks for a clever little multi MCFonz

TFTC! Found on a day out around Albany to knock off as many explorer series caches as possible.
Came back into town and remembered this cache. Came here the other day but muggle kids were about so i aborted the find. Had a little trouble getting the numbers, they're quite small, was thinking something more obvious. Then was worried with all the wood chips at the final, but cache was safe. Thanks Mcfonz for the small history lesson.

Now back on track. Change to WP1, its in the same spot but no longer magnetic.
TB also dropped in.

Got the heads up some work had been done at GZ so went to check on it early this morning. Couldn't find the cache after a quick search so will go back on Friday for a better one. In the mean time will disable. Hope to be back online soon.
Arrived in Albany late yesterday and had major shopping projects on our agenda. We had to find a cache today to continue our streak and 2 were EXTREMELY high on our agenda this was the closest to our start point this morning so off we went!
Parked in the ever accessible car park but stopped sharply at the steep descent. Mrs Felix and here dodgy knees stayed on 1 side so off went Mr Felix to the waypoint. Info gleaned and he wandered in circles initially whilst the GPSr decided where he should be heading.
Once at GZ he counted down and said 1 metre from here! Search we started but Mr Felix soon had the cache in hand although the ants were extremely interested in what was in there!
Nice spot MCFonz. Looking forward to the next instalment[?] As Im sure are all Albany GeoCachers!

After another very frustrating search , back and forth, the find at WP1 was made. Yeah!! The cache was located soon after together with GI-1.
I did a quick repair at WP1 as I took some glue. Maintenance completed.

This was our 8th cache find in a caching run of 11 Finds & 0 DNFs today.
We found it at 11:40 so this now makes our total find count 8037.
[blue]Today we bid a fond farewell to our travel companions The Drovers and Team Pathfinder who have been camp companions for the week. We hope to catch up with each team again soon.
Our cache run today took longer than we expected, because now we are down to two pairs of eyes. Nevertheless we had a good day out caching.
A nice quick find today.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape. The glue at WP1 is not working though.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today.

TFTC, I didn't realise how big that skate park was, have driven past many time but not stopped TFTH.
Despite the presence of a guy on a mountain bike who was waiting for some friends to show up, we were able to make the find undetected and without too much difficulty. Interesting story behind the track, even though it looks a little worse for wear. Thanks MCFonz.
Spent some time looking this afternoon but failed to find WP1. After about 10 minutes we were interrupted by a family coming to use the skate park, so will need to return (much to the delight of Geo-Joey who loved the place and skated the whole time we were there). He skated for about 45 minutes and then we headed off home.
After a false start on Thursday night, and being unable to make it down Friday I was sure that another team would have made the find..
Located WP1 easy after the updated coords (thanks MCfonz) and with the hint (very clever though!!) made the necessary changes to get WP2.. Off I went.. Couldn't find anywhere so had to leave to drop my daughter off at netball... Came back and widened my search after a bit of a hunt, widened search area and a few creepy crawlies uncovered.. BINGO...!!!!

Thanks for that bit of skating history and thanks for the cache MCfonz!!
Ahhh and thanks for the scratchies

After one attempt which had to be abandoned due to too much interest from the muggles over the road, Ralph and tango returned to make a successful find. We know a couple of kids much braver than us who regularly use the track and have shed a fair bit of bark when they've stacked it. Onya kids!
Thanks MCFonz for a fun cache

Another great cache.....Have not been to this area of town for many years. TFTC It was a fun one to do. Nice and quiet when we were there today. Took the lovely ballerina.....left little sheep figurine.
Tagged along with grandma allinaday. Had lots of fun looking for the cache. Love the skateboard track too. Pity I didn't bring my skateboard, but then again, I would not have found the cache.
Dropping trackable in. Rechecked Co-ords today and they are out a bit more from when I rechecked them yesterday (very overcast too, yeah yeah, excuses) before setting to publish. Obviously they were going to be out from the first capture but today they were out more so here are the new ones.

I have never nad a look around this park. There is a lot more to the skate track then can be seen from the road. Thanks.
