Had to be very quick and discreet but thankfully my two young kids prove to be the perfect distraction. Great camouflage as well.

There was a sense of de ja vu as we set out with Liz & Bruce today. Just prior to the 2012 Mega we spent a day caching together in this area and today much of the conversation is around our plans for the Murray Bridge Mega.
While the female team members enjoy the local street stalls/market, the hunt for caches continued - a neat little hide.

TNLN .. . . . SL . . Thanks to gruffpuppy for the hunt.

Out with Phetlerns today in a lovely part of Victoria. We have visited this area once before we Phetlerns but still plenty of caches for us to seek to get a smiley. This was one we targetted and found. Nice one. Thanks to gruffpuppy.

It was a very quiet gz today and we made a quick find, took a seat and signed the log. After just returning the cache we were joined by a muggle having a smoke right next to the gz so we were lucky we didn't have to hang around for her to get on our way. Thanks gruffpuppy for the cache.

A quick find after breakfast. A good one to introduce my muggle mate to the world of geocaching. The clue made this an easy find on a busy day. Tftc

Getting lunch nearby with the Coffee's and Team Crackers. Got up close and personal to disguise what we were doing while the cache was retrieved and the log signed. Thanks for the cache.

So here I sit in a shirt with a tuxedo print on the front, looking like a bump on a log on a busy Saturday Mornington..but somehow I must have channeled my Ninja skills and became invisible to those around me, the cache was in hand in seconds and the logbook signed..Thanks for another great hide in a very busy area Gruffpuppy Smile

Well... a VERY neat cache! Glad to see the Railway series complete again. Found it last Friday but no pen. Today - a pen but it wouldn't write on the fancy paper!! back to a pencil - found in the glove box by geospouse TrudyJane. Would have needed that paper and hour or so later with the rain!

GrahamT is so lucky I am with him often....I found the pencil that would let him write on the log page Smile). TFTC

Find #677

I was out for another raid on the Mornington Peninsula with Stemicmitsar tonight. We couldn't believe the number of cars and people who were out and about at 1:00am. Stealth was required but Steve made the find quickly and after we signed the log, we were on our way. SL TFTC

I'd dropped my oldest boy off at the Briars for a cubs BBQa so while he was enjoying a couple of hours of fun and games I headed into Mornington to pick up a few caches. There weren't any muggles near GZ this evening so I was able to quickly locate the hide and sign the cache without any problems.
A clever hide too and thanks.

After a very enjoyable day doing the Bay Trail series with alansee, The Coffees and Phetlern Mrs coffee and Mrs Crackers decided that they still had the energy to look for a few more on the way home. fish and chips was on the menu for dinner and while we were waiting for them to cook we checked the GPSr and to our surprise there was a cache listed where we had both found one before.
We were soon signing the log and then headed back to collect our dinner. ( we can recommend them they were good)
Thanks gruffpuppy for the cache.

Found with Trailrunning on another Monday caching adventure, The weather was a little crazy today, typical Melbourne, four seasons in one day, We found a mixed bag of caches tonight, from tricky hides, creative puzzles and quiet a few key holder drive by caches. Thanks gruffpuppy for the cache.

I was not looking forward to a night of caching in the rain; this is meant to be Spring! Anyway it was another night out with my good caching buddy, Rebel Acts. So much has popped up in the last few months to the south of us, so we set our sights on heading that way to re-clear out areas that were once spotless. A few DNF's for the night were dissappointing but a total tally in excess of 30 after some long unsuccessful searches was still a good night. I even got home early, but for the Rebel, who had been up since 4, had a longer day than I. Easy find, once we recognised it. Thanks for the cache.

26-Oct-13
Had looked twice for the original, but always timed it just after it had been muggled. Sigh!

This time I had a bit more luck, and was able to spot it easily, thanks to the super accurate co-ords. Camo was quite clever, and should hopefully last a little longer. However, the paper inside seemed to be coated in some kind of anti-pen coating, so my chicken scratch is barely legible. Next time I'm down there, I'll bring a pencil, and re-sign.

Thanks for bringing back this cool little series.

The weather was shocking which meant we had the chances we needed to get this one.

Out doing some shopping with Nut bear yesterday and couldn't resist picking this up as we passed by. No muggles around today as it was so cold and the wind was strong enough to pick you up. Cache was quickly found and replaced with no problems.
Thanks gruffpuppy for keeping this great series alive.
