This hasn't been found since October 2016; over a year, and the CO had ignored the DNFs and maintenance logs. Should be archived.
Between Oamaru and Rakaia we had four major stops to find caches. The first stop was at the picknick area by Pukeuri, where we found two caches with some historical aspects, then we stopped at the Glenavy Reserve walkway at Waitaki river bridge.
We moved on to Timaru and did some caches from the Saltwater creek walkway where we met Canadian geocachers and had a nice chat and our last geocaching stop was at Ashbury for a part of the Lake Hood trail.
The first two caches from this trail from our starting point, numbers 6 and 7, were both not there. The CO should check on them because there are a number of "not found".

I was intending to have an enjoyable cyclocache ride up the Salt Water Creek Walkway to Centennial Park. Once at GZ I fortunately decided to check previous logs. Uh oh, it hasn't been found for over 12 months, even though the 2 did log a Found log stated that they didn't actually find the cache! I decided it wasn't worth looking for. The CO hasn't done any maintenance - is he/she still in the game?
Not attempted. Too many DNFs. This hasn't been found since 2016. Needs a CO check.
Enjoying this South Island trip and had a great time touring the area and collecting caches taking us to some remote locations with tmann421.
Another good find here adding to the fun of our trip. TFTC

Really enjoyed our walk along the creek this afternoon and found 6 of the 7 caches hidden there. The youngest Gruffalo found this one quickly, we were both pleased the fence wasn't on! Picked up a TB and left another TB in its place. TFTC!
.. quick and easy find in a sunny South Canterbury day! Left trackable. TFTC!

TFTC Found while taking a group girls from Waitaki Girls High School geocaching as part of their activities week.

Cheers for the cache.
Decided to go for a walk in timaru and why would I not include caching on my walk ?? TFTC
Turn around point for me on my "cached guided afternoon walk.." once more the gps was all to important for its self leading me past what i thought was the mostly likely GZ.... with hes antenna up in the air. only to have to coincide i was probably right and have to come back with his antenna between his legs.. Wasn't able to make much sense of the clue but eventually found it any way.. although think the clue might better to contain words like buzzzz, zappp... surprise... and ouch!! or B....r! (not that i got bittern but the potential reminded me of one of my own caches.. te he he)
Third section of the walkway today and actually #1 for me. I've been up and down this part before measuring the distance for a puzzle. Disturbed a couple of ducks that flew off in fright. TFTC #7146
Nice walk on a cold Winters day, the creek is all iced over and the ducks sitting on the ice.

999 Down in Timaru for indoor bowls nationals. No play today as we did not qualify for the triples so thought I'd find some caches.
Looked at all the normal places one would look at when at GZ. Hint didn't help. Found in the end. Tftc
Mallorcatommy and I were travelling through the southern island of New Zealand. What an amazing, breath-taking landscape! On our way we did some nice walks, enjoyed ourselves and found great geocaches. Thanks to all owners for nice hiding spots... We wouldn't have been to a few places without these little boxes!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Every day we are traveling around is same but also different. Today we had again the pleasure to visit some very beautiful spots and were also able to find nearly placed geocaches. I thank every single owner for placing it and giving us with doing this an other good reason to come here.
Took my little grandson for a walk along this lovely walkway and found caches along the way. With kakariki
Nice day for a bike cache trail this looked perfect. Great start for the NosyBear team one down 6 to go. Cheers.
It was a great day to be out cycling and caching with my caching pal Bbear44. Thanks for bringing us to the area.
Fun day biking - the chicks didn't always join me for the hunt but everyone had a great day and covered a few km!
In Timaru for a wee family weekend getaway. Dropped Mrs G and Wee Dude at the track start and they ran to the other end, where I met them with wee wee dude. Nice one. Cheers.
Found....but not as indicated by hint....hope it does not get washed away in a flood....left as found as not sure what hint meant. thanks
early morning find after my first job was cancelled, before I head to the port for a quick dive. quick find tftc
The last of the run of trads and a fine series. All clean and available on a very wet afternoon. We leave Timaru with some positive thoughts on caching here. A fav for the series I think. Thanks heaps.
