Looked all over for this one...and had 2 sets of eyes on the look for it, but with no luck

Nice quick easy find on a winters day
Bit of a change in climate from when I was last in this spot a few summers back
Had a chuckle to myself about how it was under my nose the whole TFTC

The original geocache looks like it has been muggled, so have replaced the : Golf Rocks : cache..Happy caching

Mr H(5), Miss P(2), Mummy invited out Grammy and dog, Sam. A nice little find with a nice couple of trinket swaps.

Left a trinket and noticed other's that we recognise from other kawerau GCs

We parked up by the golf club where there was only one other car, and wandered down to GZ. As we neared we spotted a dog walking muggle heading our way, so went over to the edge of the river to "have a look" and take some photo's. Once the coast was clear it was back to GZ for a quick find.
We left a pet rock - a gopher.
Thanks for setting this up Frewilys, it's great to be back exploring the area again.

Labour Weekend and a lovely sunny day for a chance to grab some smileys on a good day out and about. Beautiful river - flowing very fast though. Easy find, cache in good condition. In TB. TFTC

Probably the last one for the day. Oh no, what's this, 2 DNF's. ???? Well, never one to be put off by a DNF Mr S decided we should have a go anyway. Parked outside the Golf Club, naughty, and headed off down to GZ. Watch out for the dead rat. Yurk. Too fresh to smell yet. Got to GZ and hunted around here and there in the obvious places. Mrs S used a stick to poke about and couldn't find anything. Mr S took over the stick and hey presto soon found the cache.

Found in October with jeffcrazys but didn't sign the log and came back today with drimdram101 and it was gone

On a walk with jeffcrazy's who found this in October but today was no where to be seen.

On a day trip to Kawerau to visit friends and do some caching; this was our second find on a very hot afternoon. Took a few minutes to find this as it was well hidden, while Jess88 supervised. TFTC Frewilys! Sorry to miss you today.

Beautiful spot great clue. Sunny afternoon and surprisingly no one around. Left a bouncy treat for the next finder. Log pretty munted.

After what had been a full week and the disappointment of not heading to White Island on Saturday and then it being once again cancelled late last night Alpenmilch80 and I decieded to head over this way and see what we could find before possibly making it back to the event in Rotorua later in the day.

After the disappointment of not going away this could not have been a nicer day to spend caching with a very good friend. This was our first cache of the day here in Kawerau and as previously had had trouble with muggled caches so was unsure how our luck would hold out but were just happy to grab what we could.
After the park and grabs we were looking forwar to collecting these caches and the short walk that this involved. Soon had the cache in hand retruned to its spot and we were on our way once again. Today we signed most of the caches as "ACDC".

Plans were made to head to White Island this weekend with Cats&Dragons but weather forecasted some gale warnings and the operator cancelled on us twice. Being already down in Hamilton we decided for Sunday to make a full day out to collect 50 smiles. And that’s what we indeed did. .
Beside the weather warning it turned out to be a great day with a lot of laughter and awesome company. Signed the logs as "ACDC" \m/. No flying golf balls today. buhh. TFTC

We are caching in Kawerau today picking up a few caches that help with a Challenge we are working on. Walked to GZ and quickly spotted the hide. Thanks.

This was my seventh find today and I got a little bit lucky with this one. I had a quick look around and the quantity of 'rocks' around was a little daunting. I just managed to catch a glimpse of the container sadly the next cacher won't be so lucky

Good Friday means a good day to have another go at a cache we have failed on before, the only difference this time was that I took Mrs Geckoh who went straight in for the find.... Doh.

After finishing work I headed out here to find the other two golf caches. The log book on this one was unfortunately a little soggy. Not sure how the moisture gets in when it's clearly out of the rain. TFTC.

3.55pm - Easy find even with the dirt that had fallen down on it. SLTFTC

A DNF for us here today, found plenty of suitable hiding spots but none with a cache in them!!
Will try again once cache is confirmed still there.

Easy find we are killing it! Team ktown

Having recently returned from sunny, Southern California; I've been keen to get out and clean up some newer cache placements. It's so awesome to have daylight saving again, but I've been too exhausted to enjoy it... Our next door neighbours are celebrating a birthday... loudly. Mum and I decided to go for a drive and leave Dad to it. Hopefully they will be done and dusted before we get home.

Walked through Tarawera Park with the dog. Arrived at the river bend and a lovely view of the river. My ex-students at Kawerau Intermediate used to talk about swimming up here and I can see the attraction. The water flows swiftly through here. A nice setting for a cache. TFTC.

Took the shortcut from the golf course and soon arrived at GZ. What a beautiful spot, I bet it is very popular in the summer. Cache quickly found and all good. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC

Another surprise on our doorstep. Thanks for showing us what has been built on the riverbank...it's still a nice area but won't flood any more. It was a cool hiding place although we added just a bit more cover. Thanks too for the cache which we think worthy of a favourite.

Yay another FTF the locals must be busy at work? This took a we bit longer to find as there were a lot if golfers playing the last hole and I didn't want to get muggled so had wait to the appropriate time in between them. Nice little corner sitting watching the ducks playing under the trees in the river.

Surprised Mrs F'w and her cohorts here --- they were off for an energetic walk along the river; while we were happily pottering around enjoying the view and the charming pair of Scaup on the river.
Great amounts of hard work have been going on in this area of the riverbank....... and provided a great hiding place for a cache --- thankyou to the Frewillies
