The weather forecast was looking pretty good so I decided Id head South today and carry on my exploits down there..today was Kinchina Conservation Park.So today I hiked 11.58km around here over 3.5 hours and found all 32 caches I looked for. Im pretty shattered now All caches (container and log) were in great condition, except one which I will let the CO know about.I really enjoyed today, this is an exceptional resource for all of us to enjoy.I saw so much birdlife, lizards and kangaroos.but no snakes, maybe they saw me before I spotted them and scarpered Im also awarding every cache a favourite point. Unusual I know but this was a great day out TFTC

Today Brad attended Bindis annual major event. He stormed Bindis Hill. On the way in from the car park he targeted some non-trad caches. After spending time at the event having pleasant conversations he joined Freddo and others to head off and grab a few of the more recently published trads in the area. Classic CP caches with great themes. We saw a couple of large Sleepy Lizards and a serious fence to the west. A bit over 6km walked and about 10-12 caches found. A great day.TFTC Geocaching SA

Not sure if this weather and walk is really good for the blood pressure! ??After storming Bindis hill I joined SpidermonkeysMum and SoulOracle for the journey back to our chariots. We stopped and grabbed a few caches on our walk through the bush on this warm, sunny day.TFTC Geocaching-SAKeep smiling ??

Chookster and I spent a beautiful day walking & caching around the Northern trails at Kinchina CP today. We've previously walked this section of the Lavender Trail, and it was nice to revisit the area. We had pretty good weather and no DNF's for the day, which is always great!

A nice walk in the area today on the way to the virtual, cache found and is all good.

With my days numbered in SA I had a few targets that I have wanted to tick off put around Murray bridge and the surrounding areas to find. With the work finished in the early morning I set off for a nice day tackling the virtual at Monarto, ice cream series, lost wanders series and the Aussie Challenges plus a few others along the way, total of just over 100 finds for the day.

Thanks for the cache

Dr Owl was offering a day out caching and a general idea of where to go decided. The result was an enjoyable, relaxing day wandering around Rocky Gully and a few extra caches to up the tally.

A previous visit here resulted in a dnf, my excuse being I'd earlier completed a hard orienteering run. Today the cache was easily found.

Thanks for the cache Geocaching-SA.

With the Woop Woop creek event in the afternoon, I decided to head to the area early and make a day of it in this virgin geocaching territory for me.

I spent the morning caching in Kinchina Conservation Park. I was in two minds whether to bring my bike but decided in the end to leave it home as Many of caches here in Kinchina Conservation Park are off the trails.

It was an enjoyable walk around with only a couple of cyclists seen I felt I had the place to myself. Although there were heaps of Shingleback lizards and one black snake to keep me company.

This cache was a quick find. I was expecting a small but found a large. A fav point.

Thanks for the cache Geocaching-SA.

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to Kinchina Conservation Park with our mountain bikes, with our aim to ride the Cypress Hill Trail. This is a reasonably new trail only opened in late 2019. We ended up riding the trail one way, and then returned via the geocaches in the area, so a number of short detours. We then had a bakery lunch in Murray Bridge and did a short sweep of a few of our previous DNFs, before stopping off at Nairne on our return back to Adelaide due to a few new multi-caches just published this morning. A great winter day with the sun out.

A quick cache to find before we mountain biked the length of the trail. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Nice to have found this big ammo box! Thanks Freddo and Geocaching-SA (Shrek4, SEMIK, FLIPPER&CO & Skippy) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Had some time off this week and picked a beautiful winter’s day for a walk and, of course, a bit of caching with F-Llama. Very happy to find all 20 we looked for in the Rocky Gully area - although we think we may not have approached all from the best angle as there was some bush bashing involved. One of our favourite type of containers – and such a great size! TFTC []

Had to search a little to find this one. Just a case off looking into likely spots until I found it. I was surprised by the size of the cache. I wasn't to sure that it was the cache. but I figured that it is in the right spot and it was a cache type container why not check it. Of cause it was the cache. what else would it be. TFTC.

Mr Tardis was out for a long day of caching. After having lunch in Murray Bridge, I sent for a nice walk in Rocky Gully to pickup the new caches since the last time I walked through here.

Unless stated otherwise, caches were in good condition.

Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Geocaching-SA.

Was down this way on a FTF hunt and found this and quite a few others on the way. All up found five different cache types and was happy to have some easy terrain and very happy to have NO bastard bushes.

Oh yes.. Blood pressure.. By the end of the this trek I was completely over hiking... No correction.. I was completely over being dragged around like some rag doll .. I was not a happy camper and felt terrible. Really didn't think I was going to make it back to the car but leaving Geo goblin to fend for himself was, although enticing, not a good idea... Found cache after dragging myself to it but really the walk isn't that bad albeit a bit sandy. TYFTC SLTNLN

We had found some in the Keep Active series during previous visits to Murray Bridge. As we were in the immediate area of this cache, we decided to look for four caches within a short walking distance. We were looking for a small cache but we found something so much bigger. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Geocaching-SA for the cache.

Had just left the caravan park and decided to do some caching before heading home. [^] Was rockn' and strollin' around the Reserve on a sunny winter day enjoying the quietness of the bush. Cool The blood pressure is great while wandering around with not a care in the world. Cool

Catching up on some late, very late and extremely late logs (400 in all)

I would like to thank Geocaching-SA for placing this cache. I always enjoy getting out and about to view this great country of ours and caching allows me to do that. Once at GZ, I sometimes find the cache quickly but sometimes it takes awhile to sus out the well camouflaged hide. Once found, log is signed and the cache is rehidden as found.

Once again thanks Geocaching-SA.

Catching up with some logs that we thought we had down but have missed

Traveling with SuperPop and heading for Murray Bridge after an enjoyable day yesterday in the Victor Harbour area we were caching along the way.

We were actually trying to find our way to the nearby earthcache when this one popped onto the screen so here was a quick change of plans and we headed here first. We searched for a little while to find this one and once we did we were slightly red faced as it wasn't really that hard to spot this "small" container.
Thanks SA Geocachers for the cache.

I dashed in here with rain starting to fall and my blood was really pumping as I circled my prey until I found the cache.

A coolish day had us deciding to tackle the hides in the Rocky Gully Conservation Park.

We saw some beautiful wildflowers, several shinglebacks, several hares and rabbits but fortunately no slithery thingsBig Grin

We searched for a few minutes with this one until we read some previous logs....it was then we widened the search and soon found the 'small' hideRazz

Many thanks again Geocaching-SA[^][^][^]

A quick find and a fantastic sized cache, big enough I think to hold well over a thousand Micros which could then be thrown into a bottom less lake, hole or pit of fire.
Thanks for the cache!

A quick caching expedition with cows with guns and spud to cross a few more of the rocky gully area.

28-Aug-14
Does this mean that if we keep caching that I will no longer need to take my blood pressure tables?
What about when I am attempting to solve a puzzle and going no-where, Dennis disappears very quickly at these times.
How about when the cache hider is very clever (smarter then us) and hides the cache in the most devious of means?
This to us spells FUN, this has to be good for the blood pressure. Cache is in great condition. TNLN TFTC

Finished the Mega geoart, and now out to Monarto on our second wind. Have just walked the ToaT series, and now turn our hand to this collection. Size doesn't matter they say, but our expectations were out on this one.

Thanks Geocaching-SA for the cache.

[center]8199. [green] Well my blood pressure was certainly up on this one. We scratched around for ages looking for a small cache. Eventually my head was in the right spot (and consequently so were my eyes) and I spotted the tiny cache container. How it took us so long to spot this..... Biggest can we saw on this trip.

Thanks for the cache [blue]Geocaching-SA[/blue] and the warehouse.[/green][/center]

I figured now with the Mega over there would be well-defined geotrails to help me find caches. I discovered though that there is now lots of well-defined FALSE geotrails to trap the unwary, so my figuring proved to be flawed.

Anyhow I found this cache reasonably quickly. It's always a pleasure to find a large ammo can in a great bush setting. TFTC Geocaching-SA.

Travelled over from New Zealand for the SA Mega, teamed up with Vistra to gather a few more caches as we travelled from Murray Bridge to Adelaide. Decided after many days doing drive bys that a walk was needed.

As we were parked nearby we decided to grab this cache, it was a bit of a bush bash and took us a little longer to find such a large cache than it should have. Thanks for the cache

I am over from New Zealand for Oz Mega 2014 and on my last day in town joined forces with Yorkshirekiwi83 to knock off a few more caches before heading to Adelaide for the night. After completing the rail trail across the road, we decided to explore this area and pick up some of the caches, before continuing on our way. Despite the size of the cache, it still took us a few minutes to find! TFTC!

21-Apr-14
Going through the area doing all the unfound caches and we arrive here with legs still a bit sore from all the last few days caching, what's some more bushwalking so of we go, a good size cache awaits us and was a quick find. TFTC
