Visiting Tasmania for a few days for a conference and to catch up with family, and of course to get a good dose of a caching fix, too.
The long grass was freaking me out as I was approaching gz and not trusting some the potential local wildlife... but managed to duck in a bit further up. After a good 15-20 minute search, I gave up

After dropping Kaisho53 off at the airport, Gunnie69 and I decided to knock off a few more caches, while we waited for our flight a few hours later. We decided to start at GC4NRGG The Only Way Is Up, and head along the Lauderdale to Seven Mile Beach Track, collecting what caches we could before we needed to head to the airport.
The track was almost deserted, and the weather was great, we actually saw the sun here for the first time. As a result we made good time along the track, and we made great progress, so instead of making just a few finds, we ended up doing the whole trail and a few more! Most were straight forward, though we did make a bigger task than was needed on a couple!
A very enjoyable walk, and well worth doing!
Found on Day 5 and the last day of our Hobart caching trip. Today we decided to clean up a couple of puzzle caches we solved around Howrah and Bellerive, before dropping Kaisho53 off at the airport for his flight, and then cleaning up a few traditionals as Gunnie69 and I awaited our flight.
Thanks JABs for the cache!

The cache was a little exposed so a very easy find for Ghostgums and myself this morning. We sorted business out quickly, tucked it back and added some more camo to keep it safe.
Making good time and keen to tick all these off before we headed to the airport. So we got back on the path and headed for the next.
Cheers JABs.

I was happy to be out and about finding a few caches with Dav81, omaster and aeriel tennille today. The weather was perfect for such an adventure! Once at GZ it took only a small hunt until the beast was in hand. We signed the log and then replaced the cache as we had found it.
Thanks for the cache JABS

Great walk. TFTC. Angus the great GeoWestie assisted by grey nomad Carer Lis Brown en route from Bundaberg Qld to Perth WA via all of Tasmania.
Nice weather for walking. Started with rain and finished later on with bright sunshine. Tx
A beautiful day for a walk. The track has certainly been upgraded and makes for a pleasant walk between Lauderdale and Seven Mile Beach. As we had done half of the series, we returned today to complete the rest from the Seven Mile Beach end. Spot on coordinates, the good hint and also the Geo trail led us to GZ. TFTC.
This was our turn around point from this direction. The rest of our finds were made from the other end of the track. TFTC
After starting this series way back on 29 Sept 2013, today gave a us chance to complete it without the geokids.
Silly phone took me to the wrong tree, the GPS knew the correct tree. TFTC

I traveled down from Queensland to visit my home town of Hobart. I thought a trip to Seven Mile Beach was in order and I am so glad I came down here. This walk around the headland is amazing! This cache was an easy find, hidden under a beautiful tree. TFTC
This one was found with waite, because I didn't have in my gps...it will be the last one of the because we had to go back to the campingr ground 20 km of cycling...if I had more time I would certainly want to do all the serie..another time maybe...TFC
A day caching with ainstar, scottymyth, immymoo and xman02. Weather overcast but the trail was excellent with great views and an invigorating walk.
Picking the correct one to answer the question was the hardest part.

A quick find made. TFTC JABs
This was a day to complete the caches on the track between Seven Mile and Lauderdale, plus a couple of Australian ones in the area. As there was a bit of spare time left we did a walk to collect a couple of "Amongst the Fir Trees" from Five Mile Beach, just as the wind once again picked up to crabby strength.

We had found some caches in this area in the past but today was our first opportunity to walk the completed length of the trail from the Lauderdale Yacht Club to Seven Mile Beach. Despite the very strong winds, it was a very enjoyable walk with magnificent views along the way. We were impressed with the track upgrade work being undertaken. When finished, the track will be even better.
The hint accurate coordinates led to a quick find with the cache and it's contents in good condition. TFTC JABs.

I have walked this path numerous times before, and stopped for picnics on the small beach part-way around. Never before have I stopped so often! I started at the Seven Mile Beach end, but seeing that gooseandegg had already visited and claimed FTF I decided to head around and try my luck from the Roches Beach End. Here both gooseandegg and cinmi16 had visited before me. I headed along to the end of Kirra Rd and down the hill to find that only cinmi16 was ahead. I made a brisk pace along the path and overtook her whilst she was either looking for a cache or logging a find. She didn't notice me pass, so I managed to log four FTFs ahead of her before she called upon seeing my log. We had a quick chat before she continued north and I headed south to log the rest of the caches. I couldn't find GC4NRJE "Seven Mile Beach Paddle ?", and hear that neither gooseandegg nor cinmi16 were able to find this one either.
