A quick find to fill a gap in our geo-calendar. We had attempted this one a while ago but it had been muggled. Thanks for replacing it. There are at least 5000 tiny cockroaches inside the container. Or maybe closer to 15. A lot anyway, so future finders beware!!! TNLNSL TFTC
2nd find on my way down south on Geopushy! TFTC. Will have to come back and finish this series another day.
Out for a quick pickup tonight and this cache is relatively close to home. Stopped very nearby however needed to back track a bit before i could gain access to the location. Once at GZ cache was quickly located.

Found by Mary & David at 1535. Certainly a prodigious talent, but some of his off-field escapades have brought publicity for all the wrong reasons. Our thanks to Awesome Princess.
Quickly located, were caching in Canberra for the day, the day is starting to warm up. TFTC
Got a call from Pagan to meet him at the shops but I couldn't pass up just one last cache. Dumped the bike at the fence, headed over and made a quick find. Cache is in excellent condition. TFTC Awesome Princess
Dropping off Christmas wrapping and boxes on Boxing Day and doing a quick run of the area to try to get to 900 finds before the end of the year! TFTC
For some time I've looked at the name of this cache and assumed it was just that: suspended. I should know better. My sole find for the day, but still much better than I've been able to manage lately. Tftc.
Ahh just as I logged this I realised what the end of the title meant....
I was looking up for a while
I was looking up for a while
Came by on a glorious afternoon and when no one was about and found Buddy in a hole, but not suspended. Had a chuckle as I read the log description, how things change so quickly. The Swans now have such a potent forward line.
Thanks for the Buddy double today Awesome Princess!

Found this one uncovered and declaring brightly to the world that it was a geocache! Decided that it was probably meant to be covered a bit, so I put some of the nearby tree bits on it. Two Buddies down, five to go.
Thanks Awesome Princess!

After yesterday's bitter wind and occasional showers, the wind has increased and got colder, but the rain has decreased to the occasional light shower. Today, I'm taking the dogs. I'm still going to do at least some parks and grabs.
No 4 of 14. This one was fun. Park, walk and find it's over the fence. Walk down to the gate, and find the GeoSchnauzers aren't allowed into the reserve. Tie them to the gate, over the gate, off to the cache and log it, all the while receiving GBH of the earhole from the GeoMutts. Good cache name. TFTC!!

3 of 6 found on an impromptu afternoon of caching with the geokid...we just made it before the reserve is 'closed'! TFTC!
New container and new log. Great work. Nice hide and easy find with The Banker. Thanks.
Found @ 2:09pm
Coords were out for me today but I found the new cache in the obvious spot, signing a nice fresh log. No trackable as listed although I suspect that was because it was in the pre-muggled container - the trackable needs to be marked as missing.
Thanks again Awesome Princess

The CO has replaced the container completely, with a more discrete container in the original position. cache on.
We had a good look, but suspect this one is missing. We quickly scooted into the reserve before the 3pm kangaroo culling lock out time ...
After an exhaustive search and a check of previous logs, we decided that this one wasn't to be found.
Feel bad because everyone else said it was so easy! Will wait and see if someone else finds it and then reattempt.
We moved into the EPIC camping grounds today. Now its time to go caching.
This is a lovely area to place a cache, it was in the 2nd one we looked at.
Thanks Awesome Princess

With The Rats trying to find #10,000 before July, steeba and I were easy to convince to come on a trip to Canberra to have a big day of raiding numbers. Despite the temperature hitting 37°C we still managed to find a lot of caches. Although it sure was testing in that heat.
Another find.
Cheers

Headed down to Canberra for a bit of caching with steeba and Hoojar. This was one of a few caches we found on a very hot day in Canberra.
With the temperature nudging 37deg the order of the day was plenty of water, shade with a bit of caching thrown in.
Thanks

Found on a quick overnight trip down to Canberra with The Rats and Hoojar.

7681. [green]After finding a way in it was a quick find although a different sort to what I was expecting. Very dry around now sadly. [/green]

was out enjoying cooler temperatures and finding caches again after the severe heat of the past several days. Not many people were out yet - glad of that as I had to jump the fence, then walked right up to GZ and had this little cache in hand in seconds. Thanks Awesome Princess.
Found OK. Had a great morning out with my neighbours - they enjoyed the caching experience.
Took a while to find ground zero with my useless Android phone, but got there in the end.
Second cache found on the Franklin loop. Had a bit of trouble finding exact location, had to jump fence and walk through long grass - beware!
2586. With a caching trip to Wagga Wagga looming, I decided to hone some skills while waiting for some fellow cachers. This was one on the list and a nice easy find.
Looks like Buddy and Nick will have to kiss and make up now!

Little did I know that fences were going to be the bane of my Canberra four day solo caching raid....Found in an obvious spot, thanks.
Location didn't seem to have anything to do with the name. Cache is empty apart from the log.
Found on another glorious spring day while I was out and about
Another nice quick find here after scaling the gate and making the short stroll to GZ. Took GC to move on.
Thanks, Awesome Princess

It was getting late and I suddenly remember I need to get a cache today. So out into the dark to get a nearby one. This one looked promising. Easy find at 2230. Left GC.
A nice change from all the micros today. Over the gate I went and walked to gz after locking up the bike. Got to gz and made a quick find TFTC
7319 + 872 = 8191. Three quick finds on the way home from work this evening.
Parked nearby and did a quick fence jump to grab this one - glad there was no large local wildlife around today !!
Thanks again Awesome Princess ! !

what a legend Buddy is but unfortunately looks like being a Hawk no longer. GO THE HAWKS!!! tftc Awesome Princess
Good to see a non-urban cache. Pity it was bare (apart from the log). Left my swaps in the car. Found a nice new walking trail on the way back just crying out for a multi.
Thanks
Thanks
From the road this one seemed simple, but once I found somewhere safe to put the car I had to find a way in. Not far away, but not step through on the gate here. At least the cache went to plan. Thanks.

On this cold winters type of night it was not a pleasant walk to GZ in shorts... The cache was spotted quickly as it was exposed. After signing the log the cache was returned and so was the camo. Thanks AP.
2013-09-24 0289 Since I was on the right street, I thought I might give this one a shake too. It was in the expected location. Tks again Awesome Princess.
# 6843 Found on a perfect Spring day for a drive around the northside again.
Not many muggles around here today considering it is school holidays.
Another good hide and a quick find. TN LN SL.
Thanks for the cache Awesome Princess,

Didn't see no Buddy there, and still don't know who he is... But found a cache - cant complain about that! Thanks again AP!
#899 - 10:50; Picked this up after a few errands and was surprised to see that I was *2TF* given it was published about 15 hours earlier. Missed the nearby park and ended up on the way back out about 300 metres from GZ. Wandered back and quickly made the find and had log signed and cache returned in no time at all. As I sauntered back to the Geomobile, spotted the familiar faces of toy hunters heading towards GZ. As we got closer I said "You are number three!" and a quick chat followed, before we were all on our way again. Always nice to catch up with some fellow cachers out and about. TFTC Awesome Princess
Found on a long caching day. Saw this published last night and thought that we would get them today. The closest parking spot we found was 300m away. As we were driving around finding this spot, we could see a familiar figure with a GPS walking away from what seemed like GZ. From a distance I figured out that it was LuckyL10n. As we were walking to GZ, he was walking on the same path in the opposite direction. He recognised me, so it was all good. After a few nice chat with him, we were off again - very nice to see you out and about again. Got over the fence and quickly dashed to GZ where the cache was immediately found at GZ. Nice hide. Grr, Buddy Franklin! I'd like to see Hawthorn do well in the final, but I think Buddy's injured for the game unfortunately. From the cap that LuckyL10n was wearing, it seems like he also has a grudge against him. TNLNSL. TFTC AP!
*FTF* at 2009hrs
I was over at the Gungahlin shops grabbing some stuff for dinner when this one came out. Oh off I go, I had already brought what I needed so it was time for a quick dash.
Arrived at GZ and there were no cars around so I thought I had a good chance at a FTF.
Wandered down towards the gate and over I went. First time I have put my new bright-as-day torch to good use and wow it helped a lot. Retrieved the cache to find a nice empty log book
Thanks for a nice night dash Awesome Princess
