It's been over 10 months since I DNFed this one, and nearly 5 months since I requested a CO "maintenance" check, with no response from the CO. And in all that time there have been many more DNF's, and not a single find. So I think it's about time to bring it to the reviewer's attention.
With all the DNF's, including mine, me thinks it's about time for a CO cache check on this one.
Had a really long look around today checjed everything we could think of. This one may be missing can the CO please check on it and post a log if its still there please
Had a decent look but could not find.
Will return some time after this is checked by CO.
Thanks for the cache!

Stopped off on my way out to the Amateur Radio NSW (HAM Radio) bi-monthly Trash & Treasure sale at Quarry Road Dural, to have a look for this one. Had a good look around GZ but found nothing of interest.
Checked every nut n bolt but could not find a nano. The area just recently received a pedicure, hope it's just a lack of my skills and not that it's missing.

The serenity and such a shiny container. Couldn't get record strip out so smudged green ink all over it. Tftn
Nice quick & easy find! Simple but very effective. Had to pick my moment while some muggles kicked a soccer ball around. SL / TFTC
Headed down to Sydney with Mumma-Kel today for our regular geo-outing, and after knocking over the series of caches in Pennant Hills Park we found ourselves in nanoland ... almost every cache we found during the rest of the morning, including this one, was a damn nano. This was a pretty straightforward find ... Mumma-Kel's GPS pointed to a particular structure as we walked from the car (mine meanwhile seemed to be a street or two befind us for most of the day) and it was simply a matter of locating it when we got to it.
Thanks for the giving us the Thompson's story Goughy, and for the smiley.

Arrived on location with Opa-Shrek during today's geo-outing, and understood pretty quickly where I needed to look. A quick once over didn't show it up, so I walked away to quickly check something w,Se that had caught my eye. As I turned though I spied the cache out of the corner of my eye, and we were able to quickly add our monikers before moving on thanks for the cache Goughy2012
Hunted all over with mr six who just wanted to climb while I did all the looking, with absolutely no luck at all.
Another one of those little caches that i found today. This is one that I was glad to find today, as i had spent a while searching for a cache a while back with nothing to find.
Now I can cross it off my list.
Thanks for the cache.

Ok I can confirm this cache sadly is missing. I'm currently in the process of going through supplies and ordering more containers. Will be online as soon as possible.
Thought this would be a easy hide. Will cache check tonight hoping it's not muggled.
No find for us today. May come back for another go when I see the next confirmed find.
No find here after 20 minutes of looking. I'm going to go off and cry!
Then get over it by finding another cache.
Then get over it by finding another cache.
Muggle free time of the day, sneaky hide and after a good 15mins had CIH. Don't understand how lucky people are when spotting it so quickly. Thanks Goughy
I wasn't sure if the GPSr was going to be accurate under this structure but I needn't have worried, since I spotted the cleverly camoed cache on approach. SL TFTC Goughy2012!
Today we decided to do a few caches in Pennant Hills and Cherrybrook and this one popped up on the radar. Not many mugglers around, and they were not even close to GZ. Cache was soon located, the difficulty was to retrieve the log ... we used some natural equipment found on the ground. Next problem was to sign the log, our pen didn't cooperate to begin with.
Took a Little walk through Pennant Hills and Cherrybrook and found this One on the way.
Thank you

Nice one!! Bloody muggles all around looking at u funny.. Great spot but almost impossible to get log book out.. May need to bring tweezers
So hard to find and took forever to get it out second find today and second find ever
Subtle hide. But I guess obvious when you find it. Had to find a moment when the soccer muggles were distracted. May need new log, it wss getting pretty full...
Nice easy find (though I did do a double take) - love the camo! It's the first time I've seen a micro like that. Geopup had a roll on the grass while I filled out the log (which might need replacing soon - only a few spaces left). TFTC!
Up from Melbourne, visiting family and friends. Grabbed this one on a quick run, loved the hide! TFTC
Good one! Easy find for cachers. Found it in the dark with a torch. But I did not notice the log for a while . Then it was a bit tricky to get out.
Couldn't find this one! Was my first time.. Anyone have any clues as to where it is?
Our first find! Had to look at other comments to get clues. I think we might be hooked!

Was originally intending to grab Pointing the Way, but after reading the recent logs, decided to give it a miss.
Arrived at the park and wandered in. Sized up possible hides as I waited for the iPhone to update its location. Checked a few of these spots, and in doing so noticed "a feature". Goodness knows why it stuck in my mind.
iPhone finally updated and I checked GZ. Then noticed a lack of symmetry, related to the feature I'd previously noticed. Seen this type of hide once before, in the company of its CO. Checked what I'd spotted more closely - CIH. All in all, I had only taken about five minutes.
Took the cache away to complete signing duties. It was then I noticed that elsewhere in the park someone was flying a kite. Luckily they didn't have a view on GZ.
Replaced and left for another cache nearby.

Nice to see an inventive hide here. After making the quick find we stopped to watch the family playing cricket. The father bowled from a basket of cricket balls, the mother kept wicket/fielded at stop gap and the young boy impressed with his textbook batting technique. The next Rahul Dravid perhaps?
Such a cool hide! I love inventive caches and this one was my fav of the day. The geocaching logo was a nice touch. TFTC
Had an idea what we were looking for from previous logs. Ninjaflower spotted it first. TFTC

To a geocacher's eye this is a quick find but I think muggles would not give it a second thought even though it is shiny and new. Thankfully, this was a muggle free zone today. Thanks Goughy2012.

Found by Nanny and Bo on a hot Saturday morning.
It is always good to find a special cache container.
Signed the Log.
Took Nothing and left Nothing.

A dazzling cache indeed, perhaps too much so. They do sell grey paint Thanks
After our find at the new Elderberry Park cache I noticed this cache was only 350m away (by air, anyway), so persuaded the kids to find "just one more" (geogirl5 usually limits me to 1 / day). When we got there geokid8 made the find, after which the kids had fun playing in the nearby tree and running down the hill. On the way back to the car Geokid8 tripped and sprained his ankle, so I needed to buy some evil food from Uncle Ronald on the way home to placate him. TFTC
Easy but tricky, being as I know the muggles who live in the nearest house to this cache and their dog spotted me and began to shout his welcome which brought other dogs from the park. Anyway after lots of shoelace work all duties completed and dogs shooed away.
This park was not part of Thomas Thompson's original estate but its nice that being as he was such a well known local identy last century the council have remembered him with this park.
Interesting that Yurts phone GPS still shows a way in from Cherrybrook Rd as years and years ago there was a "track/thoroughfare" from Cherrybrook to Cedarwood Rds which we used to take to get from the "Private Island" and its tracks to New Line Rd but nowadays its been sold off and is all residential land.

While I was away in SA a plethora of new caches were published within my radius. Missed out on all the FTFs but it means that keeping the streak alive for another 20 or so days won't be so hard now. It all ends on 29 October at 366 days...
So this afternoon I was able to get away for a few minutes - this one was only 7 minutes from home. The phone GPS seemed to think there was a road in from Cherrybrook Road but I had to get around to Cedarwood to spot my target. Once there the experienced geocacher's eye picked the right one and I spend longer getting the log out. This one is filling up fast. Signed and replaced on a quiet afternoon with just one bloke and his teenaged son kicking a soccer ball on the other side.
Thanks!

I have deployed one of these type hides, so it was a quick find for me.
Coords spot on using the iPhone4, even under the power lines.

Well, walked up to GZ and had the cache-in-hand within 2 seconds Not sure how obvious this would be to sporting-muggles on weekends.

Headed out for an afternoon's caching, and started with a nice new one. Overshot it at first and had to double back. Quickly found once at GZ with nothing happening at the oval this afternoon. Thanks Goughy2012.
Found it while out and about with quattro1414. Another nice and quick find at a fortunately empty park. TFTC
I grew up, or at least got older, in this area when it was rural before brick veneereal disease took hold. The story of Thompsons Corner was really interesting and I'm looking forward to hearing about Rogans Hill. The cache was quickly spotted. I wonder if that material will ever weather into the background. Thanks again Goughy2012.
A nice quick find this morning - this could have been a lot harder bnut I spied something straight away.

I don’t have a lot of time for geocaching at the moment but was able to pop out this morning and grab this one to keep my streak alive. We found it in the second place we looked.

23/09/13. 7:34 AM. Cache #916. After finding Light It Up, I headed over to this one. A muggle was walking around the pitch right near GZ, so I started doing a few "pre-run stretches", while searching. Found it in the 3rd location I checked. Signed as 3TF. This one will get harder after the ravages of time, I bet. TFTC }:)

Came past needing a find and pulled up near GZ. Walked up and spied the cache. WOW, been a while since I've seen one of these. SL and replaced. Coords spot on. TFTC

After light it up this one was next. The GPSr took as to the correct side of the park for a short walk in. Not sure what the what the neighbours might be like we tried to keep the torch light to a minimum given we could heard sirens in the background and found the nice bit of camo on the last corner we looked at which should be more visible during the day. As we opened this one up we saw an extraction tool while would have come in handy at the last one. We unrolled the log and signed as **FTF** but also struggled to get it to fit so shortened the end. Shocked to find that Bella had beaten me again! The fact that this was one of those hides that make you smile made it worth while to be out so late anyway.
Was it the high tension lines or something else that was making the GPS go nuts?
Great work Goughy!
You have secured a favourite from me for this one!
