Great find. My mum said it was to bushy to go to but I looked at the navigation thing and followed it till I found it
Hoofed my way up this hill for a quick find at GZ. Not the best idea to attempt this immediately after eating large quantities of tacos.TFTC!
Added a few swapables: metro/makro medallion from Germany in 2003, penny from England, 1 stamp from the Netherlands, and a button from a brewery between Ottawa & Montreal in Canada, for those of you who love beer & horror (should have placed it somewhere on Friday the 13th earlier this month!) - or just hockey & hops? Jason wishes you happy Halloween!
On a losing streak right now, that's the third dnf in a row. Worth the climb for the hill though.
Found! My final cache of the day. Tha ks DogboyOz.

A good trek up the hill, and a bit of a difficult find (though it is my first). Looking forward to finding more.
#1674 Once at GZ I checked a few possibilities before locating the booty. Logged and replaced then on my way. My last today before heading home. Thanks for showing me this area.
Looks like summer has finally decided to join us. A hot walk up to this cache this arvo with GLISS! followed by a nice fast find. Thanks for a lovely walk and cache.
Found with Nibletricecakes after she had found a multi earlier on the track. Great views from here. TFTC.
This is a cache I picked up originally picked up in 2017... but never logged at the time. I came back here today. It's a really lovely park, one of my favourite of Tuggeranong's inner city hills. There was no wattle here today, but still a beautiful slice of native bushland.
Sighted my previous log (and dated it again!). Thanks for the cache!

First trip out with my 7yo. Found it in the rocks. We'll be doing more of these, that was fun
The wattle is on the way out sadly, but lovely to be outside enjoying the walk. All good with cache.

Found on a walk over Mt Waniassa with a small group. A quick grab here towards the end of our walk today.
Thanks for hiding this cache DogboyOz

Nice walk up here on a sunny winners morning. Easy find. Shame the tree is nearly dead.
What a great reserve. I started caching this morning on Macarthur Hill and ventured across to here after. I am yet to see a single person but have spotted ample wildlife. A perfect morning really.

With the bushfire smoke was down, it was time to salvage something from the remains of the xmas break. Picked a route and did a clockwise circuit of the hills, starting from Chisholm Shops, through the pines, and around via MacArthur Hill, Karralika F/T, Mt Wanniassa, then the powerline F/T. This cache was grabbed along the way
Out walking with the scouts on a night hike. Stopped nearby so though a slight detour and thencach was soon in hand.
Discovering there's a suburb challenge I checked out what suburbs were missing in my grid and discovered MacArthur was a big void. Today I'm remedying that. I checked out the multi at the base of the mountain and discovered by using this cache as a yardstick that I'm 10m out today. The cache was found safely tucked away in good condition. It seemed no matter where I turned at this spot I chased a kangaroo. It wasn't that there were heaps of them, they just didn't anticipate my direction very well. There's a beautiful sunset tonight. The trees block a good photo but the light on the suburb is quite special. It's a beautiful view. Tftc
Fitzy_1965 and I headed into Canberra for three reasons today:
1. to pick up some new suburbs for me for the mapping challenge
2. to attend an event
3. to pick up my kids after a night away.
This was part of No. 1 and thank goodness we finally found the fire trail....I much more pleasant walk now are at the top. What a great cache and how wonderful to see the original log still here. Took my time when at GZ to make sure now critters were guarding it.....nope nothing. Log signed and off to the next cache.....favourite point for me.

**This Cache:**
Saw this cache a bit further up from a puzzle and couldn't help making the extra climb. Attacked this cache purely off path however, instead of coming up the trail!
When we got to GZ I opened up the cache to find Darksidedan's name already in the logbook..... another cache he signed and completely forgot to log over 3 years ago!
Thanks!

**Today:**
Went for a morning adventure today to pick up lots of traditionals, puzzles and multi's around Fadden. Have slowly been working on a few of the multi's in the area, grabbing waypoints when I am in the area and also slowly gathering up lots of the puzzles around here that have a huge contribution on Canberra's high puzzle count! Lots of walking done on the hills on this beautiful Sunday morning, and was finishing up by lunch time after about 5 hours before the heat of the day really kicked in!

A quick find today. Thanks for taking the time to hide this cache DogBoyOz. I signed the log dsd or darksided or darksidedan
A nice walk up the track to get to this spot. Cache found quickly, then wandered over to the survey marker for some more views.
Thanks,
Thanks,
It's geocaching Tuesday for me while the geoson is at a class. I came up here at the right time because the wattle was out. It was a blaze of yellow. Beautiful. And the views just a bit further up the hill from gz were great. But oh my, I’ve worked up quite a sweat climbing this hill tonight that's for sure. Thankfully, the cache was easy to find and no hint was needed. With the sun now dipping below the hills, it's time to get a wriggle on. I've still got a few more caches to go before my outing is done. TFTC
I wandered over to this cache from 'Holden 48-215', not enjoying the terrain (my fitness level has dropped off a bit lately ) but enjoying the views once I got towards the top of the hill.
The cache was in good shape and an easy find.

Bumped into Aquilus1 at the event yesterday, we mused at the idea of going out on sunday, but then that plan got torpedoed by me needing to take my girls to the movies in the morning, in the end I couldnt get tickets to the session we wanted so I could go out... so here we are, on Wanniassa hills where we have solved many, many puzzles. There seems like a critical mass solve so that makes going out worthwhile.
This was the fourteenth of the day and we were really hitting our straps. Looking forward to seeing the car again but there are a few more in us. Nice easy find with descriptive clue

Took a nice time out in the day to walk this ridge, nice peaceful spot here overlooking those majestic hills of Namadgi. Quick easy find on this strangely summer like day... maybe my wish for an endless summer has been answered.

We came across your cache, DogBoyOz, on our geocaching holiday in Canberra.
Almost walked on by this one. All in good condition. Pencil left outside the cache was retured inside.
Log signed and replaced at 1:16 pm on 6 March 2018. TFTC.

I did a reconnoitre for next Monday’s Omnia walk along the ridge behind Macarthur and Fadden which gave me the opportunity to find four geocaches, two traditional and two multis. This cache was a straightforward find, being in an obvious place on the coordinates. Thank you DogBoyOz for installing and maintaining this cache.

After a caching bike ride with my youngest son, I couldn't persuade him to do some walking with me, so dropped him home and then returned to the south side to mop some more of the few 'urban' ACT traditionals still to find. I bush bashed up from the closest point on the road below, rather than walking up the fire trail along the ridge. Quickly found. TFTC.

Was out with dty73 this afternoon to see about this and a few other south side caches. The unusually warm weather I'm clearly not used to slowed the hills a bit but found the cache ok and nice to have a sit on the nearby rocks after the hill climb for this cache was the last of a few hill climbs of the day! Thanks for the cache DogBoyOz.
Aquilus1 and I were in the area to pick up a few caches. This was a straight forward find, even though the mini heat wave we had today I would have liked some water. Tftc!!!
take my GeoDog walked to hills for 2 hours and beautiful view and heaps Kangroo everywhere ... thanks
Having a few days of bachelorhood with geohound (while family is at the snow), I decided a nice stretch of the legs after work would be good for both of us - geohound agreed!! Found cache at GZ with no problems. Nice view. TFTC DogBoyOz
With a day off work and a cold wind blowing, what better to do than clean up some of the outstanding local caches?
A lovely spot up here, even with the cold wind. Delightful views and a nicely placed cache. The fourth and last of today's outing. TFTC

#2167 Out walking with Duffco again. Cloudy 12 degrees. A quick find on this great walking track. TFBUH DogBoyOz.
An early morning stroll through the Wanniassa Hills Nature Reserve and MacArthur Horse Paddocks. TFTC.
Sunday 15 January 2017 - a hot Summer's afternoon in the low 30s out on bike and foot to find 8 from 8 caches over 4 hours. This cache had not been found for the last 5 months so I decided to take all three trackables to move them on. Thx p2p. TFTC DogBoyOz
I enjoy to walk and cold also bit rain today and found cache it nice wattle. TFTC dogboyoz
Definitely no wattles blooming at the moment, with winter well and truly arrived. Nice to see plenty of people around enjoying the area. When the coast was clear, we made the find. No problems with the cache. Thanks DogBoyOz
Found this in the last few weeks, Bit slow to log them ATM. I've seen the first wattles coming out around Canberra in the last week of June. It was still fairly warm when I found this so it was a relief to see the usually cache signs. TFTC
F(H)ound it! 5:03:00 PM
Followed a roo-pad up the hill north from the water tank. It is a glorious afternoon but the ants are very excited (expecting rain?). At one point Ridgeo-pup was very distressed as the ants were on her as if she were a jam jar with the lid not on properly. Poor love. She waited patiently while I picked them off her legs but we really just had to keep moving. Cache is as neat as a pin inside but wrapped in spider webs on the outside.
Thanks for the cache DogBoyOz

#932. 45 days in a row.
I'd just found another nearby cache and the rain seemed to be easing, so I decided to climb the hill and retrieve this cache. Of course, the rain started up again as I was getting close to the top...
Cache itself was pretty easy to find.

Hi everyone! This is just a note for people who write 'Found It' logs please don't, that makes me upset because I don't get to hear all your fantastic walks to it and adventures to it.
