Don't drive on the grass. There is no traction. Thanks for the cache Snickersallan
Checked on this cache today and it is missing due to new improvements at the GZ location. A new container is now in place and all good to go. (Also thanks to gossy921 for bringing this to my attention)
Did not find can someone confirm that this is still put in the field as fencing looks to have been replaced
29/11/2023 Find #6753Wednesday Wandering Madness hasnt happened as frequently in the past few months, but today I managed to snare Crew153 for a day out with me. Luckily for me he also enjoys using his GSAK to decide where we should go. This was the last cache of the day for us today, and Crew153 got the check in call from Mrs Crew153 as we pulled up here, as there was a storm beginning to roll on in. I dashed out of the car and over for a quick find while Crew153 allayed any fears of us staying out longer and getting caught in the storm. Thanks for the cache Snickersallan.
Out for a Wednesday Wander with 1MinnieMoo to clear a few of our mutual unfound caches in the area. This was to be the last find for the day as there was a storm heading our way and we had to get home.1MM made sure the handbreak was on before she headed down the steep driveway for a quick fond.TFTC Snickersallan
Found it quickly but then started looking around for a grown up to reach it for me. It finally occurred to me that I was the only grown up person around so had to stretch up for it myself, risking slashing my wrists on the barbed wire. Replaced it about 6 inches lower than I found it. TFTC
Today, I joined a few friends with an early hike to Pages Pinnacle. We departed from Neranwood Park to take the steep ascent, and then had an adventurous climb along the razorback before getting treated to great views at that local summit. Following the walk, I took a drive along Mount Nimmel Road, and then walked up further fire tracks whilst finding the *Austin Powers* series. Mudgeeraba Creek rock pool certainly appeared to be enticing to make a dip, as there were a few people about.
It was then a drive along/through Upper Mudgeeraba, and then along a few scenic routes that traversed Advancetown Lake / Hinze Dam. I did pop into Hinze Dam and completed the [Hinze Dam Walk](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/92f34238-e46a-4fb5-8b34-2d6c632e5b83
) Adventure Lab. A few final stops were made in Mount Nathan, before heading home for the day.
An interesting location, and nice views of the surrounding hills and valley. Even getting up the steep-ish one-lane road was interesting, as a car approached me, and it was just a tight fit getting around as my Prado dipped into the gutter. With a kind hint, this geocache was a reasonably quick find, even if it was an evil-sized cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Bristracker for the cache placement, and Snickersallan for its ongoing maintenance.

Tiny thing!! Can’t believe we’re only the third ones to find it this year! Very overgrown but a fun little activity to do with your family,
one of our family members had the first geo cache find it was fun!!

Maintenance carried out, cache still in place. Please be mindful of the current road works being carried out to widen some sections of the road leading up to this water tower.
Gorgeous drive & view totally worth it.
Only no.7 to find it. Here's an unflattering photo to prove it. Find #4 for me.

With no real plans for the day, I’ve decided to head towards Canungra... saw this cache and made a slight detour... that’s a mighty narrow road to get here... hard to believe though I’m just the third finder in 2020... tftc...
On a trip from Lismore to Beaudesert, via a detour to the beach for a swim. Decided to veer off the main road to find this one. Nice little country road! Cache was found quickly. Thanks Bristracker/Snickersallan!
Had driven up this road many many years ago. Some spectacular views down the valley. With a bit of a stretch managed to have the container in hand sign and replace. Tftc
Damp Sunday afternoon, what do? catch up on some unclaimed caches! Pity about the cloud, could just make out some high rise outlines. Great location. TFTC bristracker
A quick find here with Selva Girls as we wound ourselves around a few of the local roads picking up a few extra smilies on the way home. Tftc bristracker
Stortigirls and I stopped by to visit this cache. We signed the "visitors" book and then continued on our way. TFTC
Had to get hologram Mick to retrieve this today. Out caching with The X-Trailers. cache all good. TFTC

Some beautiful views up here, and up a road that doesn't exist on my map! Thanks for the cache!
Another new road travelled to find a wonderful view when we stopped - also a cache!!! Thanks bristraker for bringing me here.
Today we planned a caching run to coincide with the Hinterland Round-up at Lower Beechmont, so what better than to turn a group of green dots yellow! Fellow cachers Nadine 1989 and Geefer joined us for the occasion. All up we found all 25 of our planned caches for the day, including the event.
Nice views - hint was spot on!
Found at 11.45am on 12th June 2016. TFTC.

Apple maps thinks that this road stops well before Inner Tube. But once I'd driven around all the "subdivision" roads I back tracked and discovered the hill climb. Got a glimpse of the coastal high risers and then returned to park at this GZ. A quick find and sign.
Thanks for the tour and wee adventure.

Quick and easy.
Decided to detour and find a couple of caches on my way to Canungra to see Maj JC ❤️.
My navigation app on my phone was getting cranky at me though.

Soooo.. this is where that road leads to??
I didn't even know how to get to said road until I read back and saw Aussie Liahona's log. I tried to approach from different angles. Look for Nathan Valley Road, folks.
I parked up and made my way to GZ. After a bit of a hunt from different angles, I came up with the beast. It was in good condition. I signed the log and returned it to its home.
Some lovely views from this one. TFTC Bristracker

Checked on this one today and finding the log was nearly full replaced it with a clean log.
I came down the coast today to attend the Hinterland Round-up #2 event with Bristracker. Today was my first time in Canungra and Mt Tambourine so I got a few caches around the place. This was a quick find and maintenance by Bristracker. TFTC
Stunned by a great local view, we took the long tour around the facility and finally spotted the prize. Signed and replaced we wondered about living in this neck of the woods. TFTC
Beautiful, picturesque road up the hill to amazing views. Didn't take long to find this tiny fellow. Good one and tftc Bristracker
Heading to the Gold Coast airport to pick up a friend doing the Marathon this weekend. I noticed this one on the Nuvi and thought I'd start with it. I parkand and love the view from here, I found the cache easily with help from the hint, without the hint I may have been here a long time. Thanks for bringing me up here!.
We set out this morning for a day of caching, we didn't have a good start when we got to the first cache and realised we left our list at home but we decided we would just wing it ha
What a mission it was to try and find how to get to gz
Thanks AussieL for posting what road you used
Once we finally got to gz was a quick find TFTC

A nice quick find on this cache today. Coming up here by entering on Nathan Valley Road and on the right track we went to the top of the hill and end of the road for some stunning views of the Gold Coast along the way. We stopped for the cache on the way back down the hill and pulled off the road into the driveway of the towers and made the quick find. All is good with the cache. Thanks for bringing us out here Bristracker. We admired the scenery. Rather loved the name of the business up the road: Bark Royal for a pet hotel, lol. [^][^]
Great ride up the hill and a quick find of the cache had us heading up higher to see what there was to see. Boy are some of these hills steep. SL TFTC
There had been a nice breeaze whilst we were out on the water and with the aircon going in the car I had not noticed how hot the day had become. With no shade at GZ for this one at hit me full force. 11am and it was over 30C.
No time to mess a bout in the sun here. Check the hint for a nice quick hunt. The log came out unasssited - yay! Scribble my name, and dash back to the aircon comfort of the car

Out and about after work today because I have never found a cache on the 20th Jan.
Well I have now.
What a steep little road getting to here. I quickly found the cache and signed the book but the trouble was reversing up the 'driveway'. I was spinning in the loose dirt but I got out eventually.
Thanks for the cache.

A nice drive in the hills today with a few of the kids and with Couchmen. Picked up a moderate amount of finds, but in all it was just a great day out, driving around, getting some good caches. Thanks to all cache owners for placing and maintaining their hides.

Heading up to the main range for a weekend camping so we decided to clean up a few of the caches we missed last time we headed this way. This was a nice quick drive up to the gz where a quick find was made. Now onto the next one! Thanks for the cache bristracker
Found a spot for the geo-mobile nearby and a quick stroll soon had me at the GZ.
Usually nanos give me a bit of grief with the whole "unroll, scroll & re-roll" thing but this one was quite cooperative.
Thanks for the cache bristracker. Cheers!!

We were further north on the night this one and several other caches were published, typical, not to worry. Congrats to couchman on the FTF. But I needed to feed my addiction today so after work I headed for the hills. After slowly driving past Inner tube I decided to get it on the way back. We've been up this road quite a few times in the past as we normally book our dogs into Barkroyal when we go away. If you every need a good place for your animals I highly recommend these guys.
After dodging a couple of scrub turkeys on the road I made it to GZ. With the hint in mind I went to it straight away. Rubber o-ring is missing already from container. Signed log and replaced.
Thanks for the new one bristracker

I wanted to head out to the Illinbah valley today to try out my Garmin in areas where my iphone cuts out. How kind of bristracker to put out some new ones in my path. Thanks bristracker.
A nice spot for a house rather than a water tower! Mrs. Herbz is on form this afternoon spying this first. Great views. TFTC Bristracker.
Geo Wife & I were relaxing after a big day (for us) and I just happened to open the emails and we were greeted with 2 new ones by Bristracker!!!
Well that stopped the relaxing, we were out in the car and off within minutes.
We knew we would probably be racing a few different local cachers for the FTF prize.
We had stopped briefly at "Inner Tube", in case someone had gone to the top first, but had not tracked it down so we headed up.
We drove straight past the cache before we saw it and had to turn around on this skinny road.
15 point turn later we headed back and parked safely off the road.
Geo Wife gave me the honours and I quickly found the cache and brought it back to the car to sign.
Opening the cache and checking the log it had obviously not been opened and we were greeted with a blank log.
Yes YeS YES!!! An FTF!!! 10.28PM
Thanks Bristracker TFTC SL This is No. 995 cache not far to 1000 now!!!
